Chapter 59: He found his mate

Isabella POV

I followed Lilly’s line of sight and my eyes landed on my brother, Declan. My own eyes went wide when I realized what this meant. Lilly is my brothers mate. No wonder I had this strong urge to protect her, she’s going to be my sister-in-law.

I heard a possessive growl leave Declan’s chest, before the word left his lips.

“Mate!”

He stalked towards Lilly and stopped directly in front of her. His eyes trailed down her face and stopped on her lips, another growl left his chest when he noticed the cut.

“Who did this?“ he asked, in a low danger voice, while he held her chin in his hand and brushed his thumb along the cut on her bottom l*p. A gasp left her lips, at his touch.

Lilly was still frozen in shock and didn’t answer him.

“Alpha Ryan used her as his punching bag, because I was being defiant, I’m sorry.” I said, while glancing between the two of them, with an apologetic look on my face.

“I’m going to kill him.” Declan growled. His eyes never leaving Lilly’s.

“Are you ok? Are you hurt anywhere else?” Declan asked Lilly, with a softer voice. Lilly simple shook her head from side to side, still lost for words.

“Your so beautiful, your perfect.” Declan said, while looking at her with dreamy eyes.

I smiled to myself, thinking how perfect Lilly is for him. I’m so happy he finally found her.

“Lilly, this is my brother, Alpha Declan of the B***d Moon Pack.” I introduced them to each. Neither one of them even glanced my way, their eyes were still locked on one another.

“Let’s go home.” Declan said to Lilly, while moving in and planting a soft k**s on her cheek.

“Ok.” Lilly answered in a soft voice, her face blushing at the attention Declan was giving her.

I watched as Declan wrapped his arm around Lilly’s waist and escorted her to an awaiting SUV. He opened the door and motioned for Lilly to get in, she complied and Declan got in next to her, before closing the door.

Alpha Drake was standing beside me, he held me around the waist the entire time, since stepped outside.

“Let’s go.” Alpha Drake said, before guiding me to another awaiting SUV. He opened the back door and motioned for me to get in. I complied and he got in behind me, before shutting the door.

A warrior was in the driver seat and Erik was in the front passenger seat. He glanced back at me and gave me with a big smile. I smiled back at him.

I was still looking at Erik, when I felt strong arms wrapping themselves around my waist and I was lifted off my seat and brought onto Alpha Drake’s lap. A surprised yelp, left my lips at the action.

“Now that I have you back, I’m never letting you go.” Alpha Drake growled, while holding me possessively to his chest. I didn’t say anything I just nuzzled my face into his chest and got comfortable.

I felt butterflies in my stomach and to my own surprised his possessive actions, caused arousal to flood through my body, straight to my core. It felt so right sitting in his lap and I didn’t even care that Erik and one of his warriors could see us. In my head it was just the two of us in this moment.

It didn’t take long before I dozed off, in the comfort of his warm embrace.

Alpha Declan POV

When the front doors of the rogue pack house opened, an intoxicating smell hit my senses. It smelt like a warm apple pie and I started to salivate.

I looked at the door and froze in my tracts. Isabella had her arm wrapped around the shoulders of a beautiful young women.

She was gorgeous with her wavy long chocolate hair and hazel eyes. My wolf was going crazy in my head and took over to say the word.

“Mate” He growled out.

The realization hit me and I stalked towards her.

She looked so frail, I would say she was underweight for her height. She didn’t say anything, she just stared at me with so much intensity. I could tell she was scared, but I could also see the longing and desire in her eyes.

When Isabella told me that Alpha Ryan was the one who hit my mate and cut her l*p, rage fuelled my body. I wanted to kill him.

I had to remind myself that my mate needed me right now, Alpha Ryan will die, but right now I need to focus my attention on Her. She’s likely been through so much, she needs me.

I couldn’t help myself from leaning in and kissing her cheek. I wanted to do so much more, but she seemed so fragile and vulnerable right now, I didn’t want to scare her.

I escorted her to a waiting SUV and opened the door for her. SHe got in and I got in behind her.

I glanced over at her and she was looking at me with admiration in her eyes. I could see her relief as we pulled away from the rogue territory.

I really wanted to lift her onto my lap, but again, I didn’t want to scare her, so instead I pulled her into the middle seat and wrapped my around around her shoulders.

To my pleasant surprise, she leaned her head onto my shoulder and I heard a sigh of relief leave her lips.

In this moment I was the happiest I’ve ever been. I’ve been waiting to replace my mate for years and finally she’s here with me and I’m going to cherish her for the rest of our lives. Oh goddess, she’s perfect and she’s mine.

It didn’t take long, before she fell asleep on my shoulder. She let out the cutest little snores and I smiled. She’s only said a single word to me, yet I already know that I’m falling hard for her.

The rest of the drive I spent enjoyed the feeling of my mate in my arms. It all felt surreal, I kept glancing down at her sleeping face, just to reassure myself that she was really here with me, this wasn’t just a dream.

When we pulled up to the pack house, I scooped her up in my arms bridal style and carried her towards the pack house. She was still asleep.

Jet was standing at the front doors, watching me. He had stayed behind while I was gone. He had a surprised look on his face when he saw Lilly in my arms.

“Alpha.” He greeted me with a nod. I nodded back.

“Who’s that?” Jet asked curiosity, while glancing at Lilly.

“My mate.” I replied while walking inside. I didn’t miss his shocked expression, when I said the words.

“Wow, congratulations Alpha. That’s amazing. Did you guys replace Isabella?” He asked, while following me inside.

“Yes, she’s fine, she’s with her mate in another SUV, they should be here shortly.” I replied and started climbing the stairs towards my room.

“Mate?” Jet asked sounding shocked.

“Alpha Drake is her fated mate.” I said while continuing to climb the stairs.

He didn’t follow, he stay on the main level.

“That makes so much sense.” I heard Jet say lowly to himself. I chuckled, it did make sense. Isabella and Alpha Drake were always on each other’s case, but the chemistry between them was undeniable. I’m happy they seemed to be working things out.

Once I reach my bedroom, I opened the door and walked in. I pulled back the blankets on my bed and laid Lilly down gently, before covering her with the blankets.

I stayed in my spot for a moment, just watching her sleep. I could literally watch her all night, but the last thing I want, is for her to wake up and see me staring, she would think I’m a total creep. With that thought I pulled my eyes away from her and headed to the bathroom.

I stripped out of the shorts I was wearing and hoped into the shower. I was still covered with dry b***d from the fight.

When I was clean, I stepped out and grabbed a towel to dry myself off. When I was done, I wrapped the towel around my waist and walked into my bedroom.

Lilly was awake and sitting on the bed. When she saw me walk in, her eyes trailed down my body and took in my half naked state. I didn’t miss the blush on her face while her eyes looking me over with so much desire and need.

My own desire flooded through me and I felt my c**k twitch. I wanted nothing more than to strip her naked and make her mine, but she had been through so much, I needed to take it slow with her.

I went to my dresser and pulled out a pair of boxers. I figured I would test the waters a little, I dropped the towel to the floor exposing myself completed to her. I didn’t look directly at her, but in my peripheral vision, I could see her eyes taking all of me in, she didn’t look away. I smiled internally, please that my little mate, liked what she saw.

I pull up my boxers and walked over to the bed.

I got in next to her and laid down. She laid back down and turned her body so she was facing me.

I couldn’t help myself, I pulled her body towards mine, so that our chests were touching. I brought face down into the crook of her neck and inhaled her intoxicating scent. It instantly aroused me. A m**n left her lips and my c**k sprung to life at the sound.

I kissed her neck softy and felt yer hands moving up my body, she wrapped them around my neck and held onto me tightly.

I kissed up her neck and along her jawline, before I moved to her lips.

I kissed her lips gently and was pleasantly surprised when she parted them, giving me access. I slipped my tongue inside her mouth and explored every inch. Goddess, she tastes so good.

I pulled back from her lips, giving her the change to breath. She was panting heavily and I could smell her arousal, it was intoxicating. I wanted all of her, but not tonight, I don’t want to overwhelm her.

“You’re so perfect.” I said in a low husky voice. She smiled at me and blush spread across her face.

“T-thank you, for s-saving me.” She practically whispered. I smiled back at her.

I lowered my head into the crook of her neck and held her silently, until we both fell into a peaceful sleep.
