Chapter 65: A rogue she-wolf

Isabella POV

Alpha Drake and I got back to my old room, it was almost 3:00am and we both could barely keep our eyes open. It had been a really long and stressful day.

I got undressed, leaving on my shirt and panties and Alpha Drake stripped into his boxers. We climbed into bed and Alpha Drake pulled me tight against his chest, spooning me. We practically fell asleep the minute our heads hit the pillow.

I woke up the next morning, feeling claustrophobic. I swear, Alpha Drake had a vice grip on me, his arms were wrapped around my waist tightly and his legs were over mine, pinning me down. He must of been sparing with me in his dreams or something, I chuckled to myself, as I tried to break free.

I was struggling to get out of his hold, when felt him stirring awake.

“Where do you think your going?” I heard his husky voice ask.

“I have to pee and your holds so tight.” I said, while chuckling and hitting his arm playfully, trying to get him to release me.

“Submit to me and I’ll let you go.” He said teasingly, holding me tighter.

“Don’t start something you can’t finish, Drake.” I warned, using a seductive tone.

“Oh, I don’t plan on it. I don’t care what I said last time, I’m sick of wait, your mine little minx.” He growled.

He grabbed me by the waist and pulled me on top of him. I yelped in surprised at the action. I was now straddling his waist.

“I like where this is going.” I said lowly, as I started to grind my core against his already erect c**k. I lowered my lips to his and kissed him passionately.

“Damn it.” Alpha Drake said in frustration, interrupting our k**s.

I lifted my face from his, to look at him.

“Jared just linked me, they are starting Jessie’s trial shortly. They need us down there.” Alpha Drake said, while letting out a sigh.

I let out my own frustrated sigh, as I rolled off of him.

“I swear to the goddess, if this continues, I’m going to die a virgin.” I said, while letting out a huff, not even thinking of the words that had just left my lips

“What?” He asked sounding surprised, while lifting his body off the bed to look at me.

Whoops, didn’t really mean to bring up the dreaded ‘V’ word. Alpha Drake and I hadn’t had the, I’m a virgin chat yet. I mean, It’s not like I was waiting for my mate to have s*x, it’s just, no one had ever caught my interest before.

“Are you a virgin, Isabella?” He growled out the question and I could see the excitement in his eyes, at my words.

“Ummm, w-well – – -“ I stuttered awkwardly, trying to replace my words. I was cut off when he got on top of me and slammed his lips against mine, with so much desire and passion.

“This better not be another one of your teasing tactics, or I swear to the goddess, I’ll spank you until your a*s is raw.” He threatened, in his low husky voice. A shiver ran down mine spine and arousal flooded to my core.

“Promise?” I replied seductively.

“Your kill me, you know that? The fact that your mine and no one else has ever touched you, makes my desire to f**k you, almost unbearable.” He said, while giving me one last passionate k**s, before getting up from the bed.

“Just so we’re clear, I’m not the only tease around here.” I said, while playfully glaring at him for get up.

He chuckled at me, before disappeared into the bathroom.

I reluctantly got up and walked into the walk-in closet. I grabbed a pair of black leggings and a turquoise coloured blouse.

Once Alpha Drake came out of the bathroom, I went in, I washed my face and brushed my teeth, before getting dressed.

Once we were both dressed, we left the room.

“Let’s go get this over with, so I can finally have my way with you.” He growled. I swear, his voice has been a permanent growl lately, I internally chuckled at the thought.

“I look forward to it.” I teased, glancing at him seductively. He gave me a look, that immediately sent a shiver of excitement down my spine. It was a silent promise, of what he was going to do to me.

I was sadly distracted, when we arrived downstairs and were met with a crowd of people, standing around waiting for the trial to begin.

“Good morning Alpha Drake, Isabella.” Declan said, as he approached us.

“Good morning, how are you feeling?” I asked.

“I’m feeling much better, Thanks.” Declan replied. He looked a lot better. Thank the goddess, us werewolves recover from things quickly.

“Let’s go get this started. The elders are already in there waiting. They’ll be making the final verdict and assigning any punishments, since I was directly involved.” Declan said and Alpha Drake and I nodded.

“Good call, this should be pretty straight forward, since she confessed.” Alpha Drake said.

“Thanks, let’s go get this over with.” Declan replied.

We walked into the dinner hall, almost the entire pack was present to watch the trail. Jessie was on a stage restrained to a chair.

There were three elders sitting at a table. They would be the ones making all the decisions, including the final verdict and any punishments.

“Quiet down, we’re ready to begin.” One of the elders announced and the room went quiet.

“Jessie, you are accused of poisoning your Alpha. How do you plead?” One of the elder’s asked, Jessie.

Jessie was a sobbing mess, I could see the regret in her eyes. It made me pity her briefly, then I remembered what she did to my brother and her indirect involvement, in breaking the Rogue Alpha free.

“Gu-Guilty, I did it. I’m s-sorry.” Jessie stuttered out, in between sobs. I heard several gasps and whispers from the crowd.

“Quiet.” The elder commanded the room. Once it was quiet again, he continued.

“Your crime is punishable by death, but since we strongly believe, that you were manipulated into doing it, we have decided to spare your life. You are no longer a part of this pack, from this day forward, you are a rogue wolf.” The elder announced. The room again, broke out into gasps and whispers.

“P-please no. I w-won’t survive alone,” Jessie begged. I could see the desperation in her eyes.

“The decision is final. Warriors, please take Miss Jessie, to the border immediately.” The elder ordered the warriors, before turning his attention back to Jessie.

“Jessie, if you step foot on this territory again, you will be executed.” The elder warned her.

I watched two warriors, drag a sobbing Jessie out of the room.

“That concludes the trial. You’re all free to go.” The elder announced and the room cleared out.

Erik POV

Alpha Drake and the rest, had left for the B***d Moon pack territory last night. He left me in charge of pack business.

It’s not unusual, he usually leaves either Jared or me in charge, when he goes away on business. He knows that we’re both capable of doing the job.

I was in Alpha Drake’s office, looking over some documents, when I got a mind-link from one of the warriors on patrol.

‘Gamma Erik, we caught a rogue she-wolf trespassing on our territory. It took five of us to restrain her. What do you want us to do with her.’ The warrior asked, sounding out of breath. I frowned, is she part of the Rogue Alpha’s pack, I wondered.

‘Secure her in a cell. I’ll be down to interrogate her.’ I replied.

‘Copy that, Gamma.’ The warrior replied, before ending the mind-link.

I was curious about her, it’s not unheard of to have rogue she-wolves, but it certainly was not common. They usually don’t survive on their own, for very long. I wonder what her deal is and why she was on our territory.

I waited fifteen minutes before heading to the dungeon, that should of given the warriors enough time to get her there.

As I was descending the stairs into the dungeon, I could hear screaming and the sound of a fight.

I ran down the rest of the stairs to see what was going on. When I got to the bottom, I saw five of my warriors in one of the cells, they were struggling to restrain the she-wolf to a chair.

I moved closer, that’s when I was hit with an intoxicating smell. It smelt like fresh baked chocolate chip cookies, it was so intense. My wolf started screaming the word in my head.

“Mate”

I saw the she-wolf freeze, when the realization hit her, that I was her mate. Her distraction was long enough, for the warriors to finish restraining her to the chair.

I growled, I couldn’t help it. I didn’t like that other men were touching my mate. I watched as the warriors looked at me in shock, while they step away from her.

“s**t, this can’t be happening.” I heard her mumble, more to herself. She looked panicked and wouldn’t look at me.

I was in complete shock. I couldn’t take my eyes off of her. She was beautiful, she had long dark blond hair, with green eyes. She was petite, I would say, no taller than 5’3, with a tight little body and a descent size chest.

I never really cared to replace my mate, but now that she’s in front of me, it’s causing me to feeling things I never thought I would. I felt a strong pull to her, it was taking everything in me, not to remove all the restraints and hold her in my arms.

I had to remind myself, that although she is my mate, I need to figure why she was on our territory and if she works for the Rogue Alpha. I sure hope, she doesn’t.

“What’s your name.” I asked, trying to keep my emotions out of my voice.

“Trish.” She replied with a short tone, still refusing to look at me.

“Why were you on our territory?” I asked, with a frown, secretly hoping she had a legitimate answer. She huffed, at my question in irritation.

“Listen, I was out hunting for food, when all of sudden, these goons attacked me.” she said, sounding irritated, while glaring at the warriors who were standing off to the side.

I looked over and my eyes widened slighting, when I saw how beat up all five warriors looked. I couldn’t help feel a little proud, knowing my mate’s, a tough little cookie. I was pulled from my thoughts, when she spoke again.

“Listen, I don’t want any trouble, just let me go and you’ll never see me again. I promise.” She pleaded with me, finally meeting my eyes with hers. I could see so many emotions swirling in her eyes, curiously, fear, disbelief and I didn’t miss the glint of desire she had for me.

Like hell she’s going anywhere, she’s my mate, I thought to myself. I need to speak with Alpha Drake. I honestly, don’t know what to do right now.

I hate, that I have to leave her in a cell, but I know I’m not emotional fit right now to make any decisions, specially not regarding what happens to her.

“I’ll be back, once I speak with the Alpha.” I told her, as I turned and started walking out of the cell.

“Wait!” I heard her, shout. I turned to look at her.

“What’s your name.” She asked, and I could see the curiosity in her eyes, as she looked at me.

“I’m the Gamma of this pack, my names Erik.” I replied, still fighting hard to keep my emotions out of my voice. I turned back around and walked out of the cell. The warriors followed me out and I locked the cell door.

It’s time to call Alpha Drake, I thought, while letting out another frustrated sigh.
