Chapter 83: The Luna ceremony

Isabella POV

Noon came around, Trish and Clair had just arrived at my room and they were both carrying garment bags. They were super excited for us to get ready together and I shared the same feeling. Clair brought a bottle of champagne with her.

They laid out their garment bags on my bed, before turning to face me.

“Let’s get this party started” Clair announced, as she popped the cork off the bottle of champagne.

I grabbed three glasses, from the little bar area in my room and handed them to Clair, one by one, so she could pour us drinks.

Once she was done, we toasted to a fun fill evening and new beginnings.

We did our hair and makeup first, while chatting and laughing about everything, we were having so much fun. I’m so happy, that I’m going to part of this pack and have these two ladies by my side.

After we were done with hair and makeup, it was time to put our dresses on.

My dress was an ocean blue, floor length strapless gown, that was fitted at the top, with a deep plunge in between my b…reast, showing off just enough cleavage. The dress fanned out past my waist and flowed loosely to the ground. I felt beautiful with it on.

Clair was wearing, an emerald coloured floor length gown, with small straps and a cow scoop neckline. Her dress was straight cut to the floor, with a slit that ran up her th!gh. It was gorgeous and made her eyes pop.

Trish was wearing, a dark red floor length gown, with a halter style top. The dress was form fitted at the top and from the waist down, it flowed loosely. She had matching lipstick on and she looked gorgeous.

“Wow, you ladies cleanup nicely.” I said, while glancing between the two of them.

“Luna, you don’t look half bad yourself.” Clair replied, with a playful wink.

We poured ourselves a second glass of champagne, while we waited for the guys to come and escort us to the ceremony.

“So, how are things with you and Erik?” I asked Trish.

“Pretty good, he can still be a bit much at times, but I’m thinking of letting him mark me, after the ceremony tonight.” Trish replied, with an almost embarrassed look. She always gives him a hard time, but I know deep down, she’s anxious to wear his mark. They really are a perfect match.

“Wow, that’s amazing. He’s going to be shell shocked, when you tell him.” I said and chuckled, Clair did too. I would actually like to see Erik’s face, when she finally gives in and agrees to let him mark her.

“Ya well, he still has the night to screw it up, so, I won’t say it’s a done deal yet.” Trish said jokingly and both Clair and I chuckled.

Our conversation was interrupted by a knock at the door.

“Come in” I announced.

The door opened and in walked, Alpha Drake, Erik and Jared. They were eyeing us up, each one of them focused on their own mate.

“Wow, you ladies look gorgeous.” Alpha Drake said, as he walked towards me and wrapped his arms around my body. He leaned down and k!ssed me softly.

“But, no one compares to the beauty of my Luna.” He whispered into my ear. A chill ran down my spine, when I felt his warm breath fan my skin.

“You look pretty handsome yourself, Drake” I replied, with a sly smile.

He was wearing black dress pants, with a light grey button up shirt, the top few button were left open and his sleeves where rolled up to his elbows. He looks so s….exy, just looking at him made me we….t.

“I would stop thinking, about whatever your thinking about, I can smell your arousal.” He growled lowly into my ear, so no one else heard.

Damn it, think of wrinkly old men, I thought to myself. Bri was chuckling in my head, at the images I was using, to lose the dirty thoughts that I was having. Goddess, how embarrassing if everyone smelt my arousal.

Luckily no one was paying any attention to me or Alpha Drake, they were all deeply focus on their own mates. I took the opportunity, to tease him a little.

“I was thinking, about a few naughty things I’d like to do with you, right now.” I whispered seductively, into Alpha Drake’s ear, while running my finger down his chest.

“You’re killing me Isabella, if this wasn’t an important ceremony, I’d be kicking those guys out of our room and having my way with you.” He growled out in frustration, right next to my ear.

“I’m looking forward to after the ceremony.” I replied and gave him a playful wink. He shook his head, clearly trying to push the dirty thoughts aside, before he cleared his throat.

“If you guys are ready, let’s head out, most of the pack members are already waiting for us downstairs.” Alpha Drake announced, as he guided me towards the door, with his hand on my lower back.

We all headed to the main floor and the dinner hall was packed. The room was beautifully decorated with fresh flowers on every table.

On the stage stood Elder Dan, he’s the one who always conducts the ceremonies.

“Trish and Isabella, come with me.” Alpha Drake said. I watched as Erik leaned down and k!ss Trish, before she joined me and we both followed Alpha Drake onto the stage.

My heart was beating fast, I was nervous, not because I was having second thoughts, but because of how excited I was to take on such an important role. I really hope the pack accept me as their Luna and that I don’t disappoint them.

“Trish, we can start with you, stand here.” Elder Dan instructed, by pointing to the spot beside a small table, where Trish was to stand. Alpha Drake, stood on the other side of the table.

Elder Dan, picked up a small dagger from the table, the handle was decorated with several small stones and there were symbols carved into it. It was the same dagger that was used for Clair’s joining ceremony.

“Trish, do you swear you loyalty, to Alpha Drake and the Crescent Moon pack?” Elder Dan asked.

“I do.” Trish replied.

“Take this dagger and make a small cut on your left hand, deep enough to draw b***d.” Elder Dan instructed, while handing Trish the dagger.

She took the dagger and I watched as she made a small cut on her palm, before handing it back to Elder Dan.

Elder Dan then handed it to Alpha Drake, who did the same thing.

“By combine your b***d with Alpha Drake’s, I now pronounce you, an official member of the Crescent Moon pack.” Elder Dan announced, while Trish and Alpha Drake shook each other’s hand, combining their b***d together.

The crowd applauded and I watched, as Erik ran up on stage and picked Trish up in a tight embrace. I could see how happy he was, to have her officially part of his pack.

“Luna Isabella, it’s your turn.” Elder Dan instructed and pointed to the spot beside the table.

I looked at Alpha Drake and his eyes were glued on me. There were so many emotions swirling in them, excitement, desire, admiration and mostly, he looked proud.

“Luna Isabella, do you swear your loyalty to Alpha Drake and the Crescent Moon pack?” Elder Dan asked.

“I do.” I replied.

Alpha Drake and I completely the same process, that had just happened with Trish.

When our hands connected and our b***d mixed, I felt a strong current of electricity flow through my body, it was intense and pleasurable, it must of been from the mate bond and us completing the mating process.

“I now pronounce you, as an official member of the Crescent Moon pack.” Elder Dan announced, everyone started to cheer and applaud.

“Silence.” Elder Dan announced, to the crowd and the room went silent.

“Now, let’s move on to the second part of tonight’s ceremony.” Elder Dan said.

“Alpha, Luna, please stand here beside one another.” Elder Dan instructed, Alpha Drake and I, while pointing to where he wanted us to stand.

“Isabella, do you accept the role of Luna, in the Crescent Moon Pack and Alpha Drake, as your mate?” Elder Dan asked.

“I do.” I replied.

“Alpha Drake, do you accept Isabella, as your mate and Luna?” Elder Dan, now directed his question to Alpha Drake.

“I do.” Alpha Drake replied, his eyes glued with mine and I could see the sincerity within them.

I now introduce to you, Luna Isabella and Alpha Drake. They will lead our pack together, as one.” Elder Dan announced to crowd and this time, the cheers and applauds where louder then ever.

Alpha Drake leaned down and k!ssed my l!ps passionately. I felt giddy, the butterflies in my stomach were intense. I was excited for what the future would bring us.

I felt different somehow, but in a good way, like I had a new power within me, it must be because our souls are now connected.

“That concludes the ceremony. There’s food over there and the after party may begin.” Elder Dan announced and the crowd started to disperse around the hall.

“Luna, shall we go and greet your pack members.” Alpha Drake asked, while extending his hand for me to take. I smiled and took his hand, as he guided me through the crowd of awaiting people, all waiting to congratulate me.

I spent most of the night, speaking with different pack members, everyone seemed extremely excited and happy to have me as their Luna, it warmed my heart and settle my nerves.

It was late in the evening, I was completely exhausted from talking to so many people.

“My Queen, may I have this dance.” Alpha Drake asked, while extended his hand for me to take.

“You may, my king.” I replied playfully, while taking his hand. He guided us onto the dance floor and the crowd dispersed, giving us room.

He put one hand on my h!p and held one of my hands with his other. I put my second hand on his shoulder and we started to dance.

“You did amazing tonight, everyone adores you.” Alpha Drake said, I could hear how proud he was in his voice.

“I’m glad I didn’t disappoint them.” I replied, giving him a smile.

“That would be impossible, your amazing, strong and loyal to your people, anyone would be proud to have you” Alpha Drake said with so much sincerity in his words.

“I love you, Drake.” I said to him, before reaching up and k!ssing his l!ps gently.

“I love you to, my Queen.” Alpha Drake replied.

The song ended and it was getting late, a lot of pack members had already retired to their rooms.

“Shall we call it a night?” Alpha Drake asked.

“Please, I’m exhausted and my feet hurt. I can literally hear the bed calling my name.” I joked and Alpha Drake chuckled.

We said goodnight, to the remaining pack members and made our way to our room.

It was a long night and I let out a sigh of relief, when we were finally alone in our room.
