Chapter 86: I’m happy for them

Alpha Drake POV

Jared and I were having a a scotch in my office, going over some last minute plans for the Alpha meeting, when there was a knock at the door.

“Come in” I announced.

The door opened and a nervous looking Erik walked in. Instead of sitting down, he started to pacing around continuously, while running his hands through his hair.

“Everything ok?” I asked, with an eyebrow raised. Jared had gotten up and poured a glass of scotch for Erik, before handing it to him. I’m not going to lie, he looked like he needed a drink.

“I’m going to have a Pup, Trish is pregnant.” Erik blurted out and he finally stopped pacing to glance at us. Both Jared and I had shocked expressions on our faces, that was not what I was expecting to hear.

“Wow, congrats man.” Jared said, while raising his scotch glass to Erik.

“That’s amazing news, congratulations.” I added, once the initial shock wore off and also raised my glass.

“How did Trish take the news?” I asked, knowing Trish can be temperamental at times.

“I think she’s a little scared, I mean, she’s already a month along, so I literally must of knocked her up the first time we had s*x. This happened pretty fast.” Erik replied, with a frown. I could see several emotions swirling in his eyes, fear, joy, excitement and the biggest one, nervousness.

It had me thinking about babies too. I wonder where Isabella’s heads at, when it comes to that topic? Before I met Isabella, I had no interest in having kids, but now, everything is different and I want to have pups with her, more than anything. We all left my office and I headed to my room. Erik and Jared went to their own.

“I feel the same way. I think the moon goddess has a plan for us, what happens will happen.” I replied and she smiled at me.

“I love you.” She said and I could see the love and admiration in her eyes.
