The Alpha’s Feisty Mate
Chapter 92: Going somewhere?

Isabella POV

Declan had sent an Omega to my room and asked that I meet him in his office.

I made my way down to his his office and knocked. I heard him say come in, before I opened the door.

He was sitting behind his desk, looking over paper work and I sat down across from him. Before he could say anything to me, his phone rang. I watched as he picked it up and I heard Alpha Drake’s voice on the line.

Alpha Drake called to give him a heads up, that him and his men were heading to the High Mountain Pack in the morning, to demand a DNA test from Jill. I could hear the whole conversation with my advanced werewolf hearing. At the end of the call, I heard Alpha Drake asked, if I was doing ok. His voice sounded pained. Declan kept his answer short, and told him that I was fine.

Just hearing Alpha Drake’s voice, caused butterflies to invade my stomach. I already missed him so much and I hated being away from him.

After Declan hung up the phone with Alpha Drake, he turned his attention back to me.

“I’m sure you heard everything that your mate said?” Declan asked, I simply nodded my head and waiting for him to tell me, what he called me to his office for.

“Ok, I call you into my office, because I just got off the phone, fifteen minutes ago, with one of my contacts at the High Mountain Pack. He said, that he’s seen Jill around the pack house and that she barely looks pregnant. You wouldn’t be able to tell, if she hadn’t announce it to everyone. He doesn’t believe she’s telling the truth, when she claims to be two months along.” Declan said, with a serious voice. I let out a sigh of relief. If that’s the truth, then she got pregnant after Alpha Drake and I were together, there’s no way he’s the father.

I had a bad feeling in my gut. If Jill knows he’s coming and the pregnancy is a big lie, she’s probably going to try and run again. I really want to see her punished, for everything she’s done. She’s put us through hell and it’s time for some payback.

I decided to asked Declan, to lend me some of his warriors, so that I could go to the High Mountain Pack, in the middle of night.

Declan was hesitant at first, because he knows me so well. He was worried that I would go storming in there and start a war, but that’s not my intention. I just have this feeling in my gut, telling me that I need to be there. I want to have some warriors surround the territory, but we would remain outside of the border. More or less to making sure, that no one leaves before Alpha Drake arrives in the morning.

Declan reluctantly agreed and prepared a team of ten warriors, including Jet, his Beta to go with me. I was thankful for his help. I knew he didn’t want me to go, but at the same time, he knew I needed to.

It was just starting to get dark out and the warriors and I, loaded up into several SUV’s. Jet was in the driver seat and I got into the passenger side of one of the vehicles.

“Let’s go, hopefully that b***h tries to run.” I spat out and Jet didn’t waste anytime, peeling out of the driveway and down the road.

The High Mountain Pack was 4 hours away. I was anxious to get there.

“So, do you really think she’s going to try and run?” Jet asked and glanced over at me, with a curious look.

“I’m not sure, but my gut says she will, specially if she’s lying about Alpha Drake being the father. She’s managed to weasel out of our grasp countless times already. I don’t want it to happen again.” I replied, while letting out a frustrated sigh. I hate how she’s managed to outsmart us so far. I’m not about to let it happen again.

After what felt like forever, we finally arrived close to the High mountain territory border. It was now 2:00am and the only light was coming form the moon.

We hid our vehicles, down a dirt path and the warriors gathered around me, waiting for instructions.

“I want everyone to break off and surround the border. Stay far enough away, so that border patrol doesn’t see or smell you. I will remain with Jet, so i can maintain communication. If you see anyone leaving the border, mind-link Jet immediately.” I announced and everyone nodded their heads, acknowledging my orders.

I assigned each warrior, with a quadrant around the border and they broke off to do as they were instructed.

Jet and I stayed to the south, which was in my opinion, the most likely way for someone to try and sneak away from here.

We had been walking around in silence, for several hours, the sun was starting to rise. I was starting to think, that maybe I was wrong and she wasn’t going to make a run for it. When all of a sudden, I heard ruffling in bushes.

I glanced over at Jet, to make sure he had heard what I did and found him also on high alert. He definitely heard the same thing. We ducked behind a bush and waited quietly.

A few minutes went by and the sounds of twigs snapping and bushes ruffling, got closer. My heart was hammering, with excitement in my chest. This is it, I thought to myself. Bri was growling in my head, she was just as excited as I was.

Within seconds, there she was, walking straight towards me, the one only Jill. I waited, till she got within ten feet of my location and I jumped out in front of her.

“Going somewhere?” I asked with an evil smirk on my face. Her face paled when she saw me and the shocked look on her face, was priceless.

“What are you doing her?” She spat out angrily, after she recovered from the initial shock.

“I’m here to make sure, you do a DNA test.” I said pointedly, with a smirk on my face. I could finally see her belly for myself and she was no further along than Trish. I was feeling pretty confident with the turn of events, that she was lying.

“I’m just going for a walk, Alpha Drake isn’t arriving for a while yet.” She said, while trying to walk past me.

“Like hell you’re going anywhere.” I growled out angrily and grabbed her arm.

She turned to punch me, but I didn’t give her a chance. I grabbed a fistful of her hair and slammed her face into the tree beside me. Her body instantly went limp and she fell to the ground unconscious.

A satisfied smile spread across my face, damn that felt good. Now, I’m not letting her out of my sight, until she’s secured in the dungeon.

I looked up, to replace a wide eyed Jet, just watching the show.

“Goddess Isabella, you owned her. I don’t even know why I’m here, you clearly didn’t need me.” Jet tease and I laughed. He’s always the funny guy. I sure miss having him around regularly.

“Oh no, you came for reason. You get to carry the garbage out.” I teased back.

He let out an exaggerated huff, as he walked over to Jill and picked her up, before throwing her over his shoulder.

“Tell the others to meet us at the vehicle. We’re getting out of here.” I told Jet.

“Already done. While you were busy knocking a b***h out, I mind-linked them. They were all pretty disappointed, that they missed the show.” Jet said and glanced at me with a big grin. I chuckled and shook my head at his antics.

We got back to the SUV’s and the warriors were already there, waiting. They looked surprise to see an unconscious Jill, swung over Jets shoulder.

I went to the trunk of the SUV and pulled out a pair of silver cuffs and ankle shackles.

She’s not getting away from me this time. She’s going to finally be punish properly for her crimes, I thought to myself, as I cuffed her up and put her in the backseat.

“Thanks for coming with me guys. You can all head back to your territory. Jet’s going to accompany me and the prisoner to the Crescent Moon pack, before returning home.” I announced. The warriors all nodded their heads and said farewell, before getting into their own SUV’s and leaving.

“I’m riding in the back with her, incase she tries anything stupid.” I said to Jet, as I climb into the backseat beside Jill.

“You got it, I expect a good tip for this long cab ride.” Jet teased, while looking at me in the rear view mirror. He had a big grin on his face.

“How about dinner and a celebratory drink tonight, when the DNA test prove that Alpha Drake is not the father?” I replied.

“I’ll take it!” Jet said, as he drove off down the dirt road.

We were a two hours away from my territory. I hope we get there before Alpha Drake leaves.

I was anxious to see him and I knew he would be both, proud and happy, that I managed to scoop up Jill, before she took off and disappeared again.

We had been driving for almost an hour, when Jill started to stir awake.

Her eyes opened and she started to look around, clearly confused as to where she was. She looked down at her wrists, noticing that they were restrained. Panic started to spread across her facial expression.

She looked over and her eyes locked with mine. I smiled wickedly at her.

“There’s no way out for you this time. You’re about to finally pay the price, for all the crimes you’ve committed.” I said in a calm tone, maintaining the satisfied smirk on my face.

“I’m going to f*****g kill you!” She spat out angrily, while trying to lunge at me. She fell back into her seat, since I had also restrained her with her seatbelt. She wasn’t going anywhere.

“I don’t think you’re really in any position to make threats.” I said, with an eyebrow raised. I was enjoying her misery.

The rest of the ride was silent. Jill would glare at me every now and then, but she kept her mouth shut. I think she finally realized that she was screwed.
