JI’LAHNI’S POV :

“I NEED TO PUSH!” I yelled suddenly as I felt so much pressure that I opened my legs because it felt like something was about to fall out. “Oh my God it’s time! I vaguely heard what sounded like Lateri say as everyone kissed my forehead and the nurse escorted everyone except Kahi and Shawna out of the room. It was always a giving that she would be with me in the delivery room because we were only 2 months apart and the only girls our parents had. so our parents always had us dressed alike and we did everything together they raised us like sisters instead of cousins.

“NOPE I CAN’T DO IT! I CAN’T DO IT! CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP! I DON’T WANT TO DO THIS! DOC JUST KNOCK ME OUT AND CUT THEM OUT!” I yelled. As another contraction ripped through my body causing the pressure to increase and making me bare down and try to push through it. “Sorry Cuz no refunds it’s to late for all that. And you got this just think about the babies we have been waiting to see. Just do what you always told us to do, fight through the pain there is no such thing as quit, now let’s get this done and over with.” Shawna said holding my hands.

“So that’s what we’re doing now throwing my word back at me.” I said scowling at her.

It feels like I had been pushing for hours but it had only been 10 minutes. Once the latest contraction was over I released Kahi who I had in a headlock. “I’m so sorry.” I cried. “Sssshhhhh I’m fine don’t worry about me you’re doing great baby I can already see the top of his or her head and they have a lot of hair.” Kahi said kissing my forehead. Even in pain I still feel the jolt of electricity when we touch. But these kids won’t let me be great because another contraction ripped through me. “I GOTTA PUSH AGAIN!” I screamed. “Ok Lahni I need a really big push lets get the head out.” The doc said. As I yelled and grab Kahi again for leverage pushing with all might while they all yelled “7,8,9, annnddddd 10.” “The head is out baby.” Kahi said kissing my lips. Which is weird since he is basically married but I’m going to let that go and chalk it up to emotions and excitement of the situation. Pressure was coming back faster then before.

“I GOT TO PUSH!” “NO NO DON’T WAIT A SECOND THE AMBILACIAL CARD IS WRAPPED AROUND THE PUP’S NECK. I HAVE TO REMOVE IT BEFORE YOU CAN PUSH AGAIN!” The doc said loudly. “WHAT IS MY BABY OK!” I cried as I tried to fight against the pressure and urge to push. Kahi tried to keep his face calm for me so I wouldn’t panic but I can tell his is scared. But he still manages to comfort me.” Everything’s fine baby. Our pup is already being a little dare devil.” He smiled. “OK we removed it when you feel the need to push go for it.” The doc said. But as soon as he said that the urge to push came and I bared down as hard as I could and all of sudden I felt as my first baby slipped out like I just didn’t feel like I was pushing a car out. “IT’S A GIRL.” Kahi yelled crying. He was late to that party because I was already crying. But my girl was angry crying she was so loud I’m sure everyone outside heard her. By all the Cheering of what sounded like everyone from the entire pack was in the waiting room. The nurse placed her on my chest and she quieted down to a whimper. She looked exactly like Kahi but with my complexion. But the strangest thing was her eye color, her left eye was blue like mine but her right eye was silver like Kahi’s wolf. “She’s so beautiful baby.” I said crying. “Yea she is cuz. My niecy poo is beautiful.” Shawna said. I glanced her way and smiled. She was snapping pictures and crying like we all were. My baby boy wasn’t about to be ignored though. “I have to push again. s**t! why couldn’t they both come out at the same time like a team effort.” I said as I pushed which was a lot weaker then before. I was so weak this time around. “Doc I don’t think I can do this. I’m too tired.” “You got this Lahni you have been through too much to let a little thing like pushing beat you.” The doc said trying to encourage me. “Doc don’t make me slap you, reverse psychology really?” I said taking a deep breath and pushed again. But again I could barely push. I was feeling light headed and really dizzy.

“s**t she’s bleeding everyone get back remember her b***d is dangerous. Get full body protection on NOW!” The doc yelled stepping back. “Hey doc, I don’t feel so good.” Whether I said it out loud or in my head I don’t know all I know is the pain was going away the farther into darkness I went. And just like that no more pain.

MAKAHI POV:

“Ji’lahni baby? wake up please baby wake up. DOC WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING?” I yelled in panic. “Alpha she bleeding, I have to stop the bleed or she will bleed out. Please let me work.” The doc said as he was sopping the b***d up and trying to stop the bleed. I can see the b***d that got on his skin passed the glove was burn him but his determination had him only grunting in pain but he kept working trying to save Ji’lahni. When I turned back to Ji’lahni she was losing color. Maka was beating against my subconscious trying to get control he was howling angrily, he had wanted to mark her because if she was marked I would be able to help her heal with my b***d. In our species mates could heal their mate with their b***d.

The moon goodness granted us that ability because our lives were so tied to our mate that when our mate dies their mate would die or go rogue except for chosen mates they could survive because the bond isn’t as strong as an other half mate who were picked by the moon goddess herself. But we couldn’t help her at all because I marked summer instead of her. She can’t die. I can’t lose her. “Mate is strong she not die.” Maka gritted out. “Please baby you can’t leave me, you have to meet your other pup they both need their momma please baby.” I whispered kissing her forehead then leaned my forehead to hers trying to will her to wake up. “Alpha we have to get your pup out we need to do an emergency C-section.” The Doc said as the nurse grabbed the machines connected to Jilahni as they hurriedly pushed her bed toward the exit. I was helping push her out of the room racing to the operating room still holding her hand in mine.

As we reached the double doors the Doc grabbed my arm to stop me and turns me to him. I grawled and Maka surfaced, the Doc beared his neck. ” Alpha please I’m trying to save our luna I can’t do that with you in there. We have never had to do a C section I am confident I can do that but you need to understand that she has lost a lot of b***d and is very weak you need to be prepared.” He said still baring his next to me. I couldn’t say anything because of the large lump in my throat so I mindlinked him. “Go save her and my pup.” I did notice he called ji’lahni his Luna and I didn’t correct him because deep down I felt the same way. I heard the loudest cry which brought me back from losing control and allowing Maka take over. Turning I went back to the room seeing the nurse who was trying to wrap a crying angry baby. The nurse was sweating and shaking. I frowned. “Are you alright Helena?” I asked coming to stand next to her and touched my baby girls hand and she instantly relaxed. I smiled seeing and feeling the bond and connection we had when she was in her momma tummy was still there she could sense her papa. I also saw the omega relax as well. “I don’t know it must be your emotions alpha I felt your aura command wanting me to stop but once you touch her you calmed down and released the command.” She said. Picking up my pup and placed her in my arms the feel of her in my arm relaxing me and Maka is filled with so much pride.

Walking out of the room everyone is looking sorrowful no doubt knowing what is happening because Shawna was out there comforting a crying Lynn and Mina while my dad tries to comfort my sobbing mother. But just like the already diva she is she let’s out a tiny growl which had everyone in the waiting room head snap up in shocked surprised which lasted less then a second before my mom almost knocked my dad to the floor immediately taking her grandpup from my arms with Lynn and Mina cooing at the baby over her shoulder.

My girl was loving every second. My dad came to stand by me and embraced me. She didn’t fight her way back here to you and her pups just to leave again. And if our boy is anything like his sister then he’ll be fine too. Just then the doors burst open and the nurse was carrying a little angry crying bundle in her hands she too had a pain expression on her face I immediately grabbed my boy from the nurse and he sniffed and quieted down immediately, he had eyes like his sister but his blue was on the right and silver on the left. “Alpha she is smaller then her sister but as you can hear her lungs are strong the nurse checked her and everything seems fine.” I glanced at the nurse frowning. “Girl? The Doc said she was having a girl and boy.” “No she is a girl I put her diaper on myself.” She said with a smile.

I looked down at my other daughter and she looked at me and I could swear she had the gotcha look in her eyes. I caught the omega before she disappeared back into the operating room. “How’s Ji’lahni is she OK can I see her? I asked my voice broke. “Alpha I don’t know I left the room to tend to your pup after they delivered her to make sure she was ok. The doctor will be out as soon as he can. It shouldn’t be long now.” The nurse said avoiding my eyes, before she rushed back through the doors. My heart felt like it would burst out of my chest something was wrong tears threaten to fall until I felt a arm embrace me from behind it was my mom I scented her coming I turned and wrapped my free arm around her so she can also meet her granddaughter I glanced back to see Lynn handing a nervous Montego my daughter. I smiled as he held my pup like he was a statue eyes wide. Shadow had a look of fear probably praying to the goddess he wasn’t next. “He’s so handsome son he looks just like his momma.” My mom said. Drawing my attention to my daughter who had her forefinger in her mouth currently wide eyes looking at me and my mom.

“Actually seems like this little pup pulled a fast one on the Doc because she isn’t a he. But you’re right she looks like what I think Ji’lahni probably looked like as a baby. But like her sister she looked like her mom but everything else was me except her eyes. Maka was howling with pride in my subconscious. My mom Screamed damn near almost making Montego drop my pup. “OMG GIRLS HE’S A SHE WE HAVE TWO GIRLS CAN YOU BELIEVE IT? THANK GODDESS FOR THIS MICARLE” She cried smiling and the girls ran over loving on her before handing her back to me because apparently now they have to spend more money since they can’t use the stuff they brought for a boy. My dad said “What is the big deal they could still use the stuff.” Which got a death glare from all the girls which he immediately closed his mouth and looked away acting like he wasn’t the one to ask a question Lynn would call, a stupid question.

I headed over to Montego to rescue him. He handed my daughter in my other hand but she immediately grabbed his finger and every time he pulled it away she whimpered and he immediately gave his finger back to her. I already see she has him wrapped around his finger. We sat down with both my pups in my arms looking at me expectedly. They were so tiny probably due to Ji’lahni being held captive and drained daily usually our babies are born at 9lbs or more that’s the norm for pups. But my pups were probably 8 pounds together. But I felt their strength their aura was so strong I never felt anything like it from any alpha pup. I couldn’t take my eyes off them. They were looking around as if searching for something or.. Someone. As soon as I realized who they were looking for I could no longer hold it in I let the tears fall and let all my emotions go. I felt strong arms wrap around me my dad then my mother wrapped her hands around me and I leaned into her embrace I felt Lynn, Mina, and Shawna surrounded me and the pups in their embrace. I looked up and all my men were kneeling in front of our entire family as a sign of honor and unity. Then the babies let out little howls which broke the sorrowful moment. We all laughed.

“Alpha.” I heard the doc say from behind us. My mom and dad got the twins and I walked over to the doc with the girls on my heels. I couldn’t read his expression. Which made me anxious. “Doc I swear you better not go to commercial. Spit it out you acting like an old soap opera.” Mina said seriously. Clearing his throat. “As I told you she lost a lot of b***d we got the pup out without a problem but she started hemorrhaging. We managed to.. to stop the bleeding. She’s alive but she’s in a coma with the strain on her body during the entire pregnancy the b***d draining the kidnapping then being a hostage the physical beating and then the stressful labor all that took a toll on her body. It is now up to her I have done I can for her. They’re bringing her back to the room. I’m going to give her a more private room to make sure she’s comfortable. You girls know her best if you can get her some comfortable clothes that she can wear until she wakes and blankets may help.” The girl nodded tearfully and went to k**s the pups and headed out the door with their men behind them.

“Doc have an extra bed brought to the room. I had an omega buy some things for the babies, have the things sent here. Have them bring the bassinet and a few things they will need I want them close to her at all times.” He nodded and went back through the double doors. I’m sure my mom and dad heard everything they both had one of the twins holding them close. “Dad I know you never planned to.” ” Say no more son I will always have your back don’t worry about the pack I will step in for however long you need me.” “Me and the girls will be here with you to help with the twins. I already mindlinked the Doc to have a spare room set up for us we will rotate days so someone will always be here.” My mother said. I released a breath I didn’t know I was holding. I should have known my parents would know what I needed before I did.

“Now go take your girls to their mother they’re hungry. Especially.. Hey what are their names?” My mom asked. Damn I didn’t even think about it at all. What will their names be Ji’lahni never said any names when she spoke of them. “Ji’lahni never mentioned names. I don’t want to name them without Ji’lahni. But I can give them nicknames.” Looking at my first born the thought that came to my mind was. “Beautiful Crystal.. we’ll call her beah.” I said as my mom who clasped her hand and beamed her approval with happy giggles. Looking at my other daughter looking like her momma and the first thing that came to mind was. “My little trouble maker… Trouble Crystal but we’ll call her Tru.” “That’s a good strong name son.” My dad said. “Thanks dad but remember it isn’t official until me and Ji’lahni make the final decision. “Oh hush son I know my chocolate drop she will love them. Now go take them to their momma. We’ll be back in a couple of hours and I sent someone to bring you food and you better eat you will need the strength for the loooonnngggg nights ahead. They were jumping at every sound yelling weird things like I’ll change the diaper or where’s the bottle. Climbing onto the bed I placed Tru in Ji’lahni’s arm which she sniffed and immediately snuggled into her mother’s arms I had to repositioned Jilahni away from the edge and line it with pillows so the pup wouldn’t roll off. I then went to the other said and placed beah in her other arm and she did the same thing her sister did and snuggled closer and I laid down and wrapped them all in my arms which I could of sworn I heard Jilahni sigh and relaxed like she knew we were altogether as a family. I felt completely at peace to have them in my arms finally it felt like home. A nurse came in and interrupt our family time. I growled at the intrusion the nurse immediately stopped in her tracks and bared her neck. “Sssoossoorry alpha the doc told me that he wanted to start our luna breastfeeding he says it could help her come out of her coma.” the nurse said quietly. I nodded. “No my apologies I’m a little on edge please come in the pups are very hungry they’ve had a rough few hours of birth.” I said getting up in order to assist I wanted to learn how to do this so I wouldn’t have nurses in and out every 2 hours and the babies seems to have the ability to push their alpha aura on the omega wolves.

” I will help you I want to learn how to do this myself. I want you to teach her cousins and my mother as well. That way we won’t take up the staff’s time.” “Yes Alpha I’ll make sure they all know what to do I will also teach you how to pump her breast in order to bottle feed them ” She said holding up a machine. She picked up Tru who immediately began to cry at being taking away from his mother I immediately saw the change in the nurse she looked at me frighten assuming it was me who was commending her, baring her neck to me “Alpha I apologize I didnt know you didn’t want anyone touching the babies.” She immediately began putting Tru back into her mother’s arm. “No it’s fine I’m sorry please lift her again.” I said releasing some of my aura and when she lifted her up again she began to cry but this time the nurse didn’t have the same reaction.

So apparently me, my parents and my beta will have to always be near when the nurses handles the twins I sent out private mindlink to them including the doc to make them aware of the situation so we can formulate a schedule to make sure someone is around at all times. I headed back to the nurse as she laid the twins in a bassinet together which they stopped crying, maybe that’s why they were crying earlier when I put them down they want to be near each other. I made a mental know of that as well. Caring for them is going to be a full time job there’s so many things I have to do. The nurse was raising Jilahni bed slightly as I walked over to the bed I separated the beds so I could get a closer look. She lifted her gown over her breast but placed a blanket over them. I will admit I was disappointed she covered them up.

She then lift Ji’lahni’s arm and placed a big pillow that looked like the letter U. She explained that the pillow is used to help mothers breastfeed comfortably. She used extra pillows under it because in this case the pillow needed to provide full support. I mimic the same actions on my side. once she was done she checked my side to make sure it was secure she gave me a thumbs up. We each grabbed a pup and she place beah in Ji’lahni’s arm and lift the blanket covering her breast and position beah close to her n****e and beah sniffed and immediately opened her mouth greedily and latched to Ji’lahni’s breast and started sucking taking long pulls. The nurse chuckled looking at beah sucking like she was starving. The way she was sucking it looked like it would hurt if Ji’lahni was awake. I glanced at her to see if she had any type of reaction, but she didn’t. The nurse came to my side as I put Tru in Ji’lahni’s arm and lift the blanket uncovering her breast with shaky hands I adjusted Tru closer to her breast and she did just as her sister did. She sniffed and immediately latched onto her n****e. Then we made sure that they wouldnt disconnect if they wiggled she showed me how to use the breast pump to store milk so we don’t have to setup the bed every 2 hours she recommended we allow them to breastfeed from Ji’lahni 3 to 4 times a day and uses a bottle the other times and throughout the night. She also said to allow them to feed for 30 minutes but birth them in between to prevent gas. I was feeling overwhelmed with everything a pup needed. I had to make sure I thanked my mother the next time I see her because she was the real Alpha in our family no wonder my dad adores her and gives her whatever she wants he always told me being an alpha with the wars and day to day, is nothing compared to being a mother and I finally understand what he meant.

The nurse stayed for the burping in between feeding and said she will be back to check on us in an hour after I reassured her I could handle the last burping. I sat down watching my pups feed from their mother and felt my emotions starting to take over once again. But luckily my mom and dad came in with loads and loads of stuff prepared to transform the room to make it homier. All I could do is nod my head in thanks my parents have always had my back and I can’t thank them enough. They demanded that I go take a shower informed the pack that my dad would be taking over and also to eat a proper meal that my mother had the cooks at the pack house prepare which should be done by the time I finished. I protested of course but it was a losing battle after my mother threaten to wack my bottom because apparently I’m not to old or big to not still get my bottom wacked. I sighed in defeat kissed all my girls before I left my parents who were completely ignoring me and cooing over the babies. Dad said he would come by when the other ladies get there. They were all at the pack house now they decided to move in there to be closer to the clinic. Which I didn’t mind when Montego asked. I figured Lynn would have been there because that’s where all single members lived until they found their mates.
