Ji’lahni’s POV:

“Damn he almost f****d you all the way up. You need some milk?” Mina said coming up behind me. I cut my eyes at her. “To soon? Yea it’s too soon.” Mina said backing away. Looking back at Dom. “Are you ok? Do you need someone to call doc.” I asked helping Dom sit up. He was rubbing his neck. He shook his head. “All I need is for you to to tell me what the hell is going on Lahni why is the alpha acting like that with you I thought you told me he was mated so someone else. It can’t be if he is still acting like you’re his mate.” Dom said still rubbing his neck. Looking back at Summer who is still in shock playing the victim role. She is staring daggers at me which tells me she heard what Dom has said. Turning back to look at Dom. ” Look let’s go to your room and I’ll explain everything then ok?” I pleaded and he nodded. I turn to my cousins. “Hey can you drop the girls off to momma Teri I know she will be excited to finally have them back here tell them I will be by later today to pick them up.” I said kissing the girls cheeks as they still looked a little afraid or angry I’m not to sure they were sucking on their binkies like they were hungry. I’m sure momma Teri will be able to feed them if needed.

Turning back to Dom I followed him out the door and to his room. I sit on the chair that was at the makeshift table. Taking a deep breathe I looked up to see Dom looking at me intently. “Lahni, tell me whats going on between you and the Alpha.” He sat on his bed staring at me intently. “Honestly I don’t know everything I’m not a werewolf I don’t know all the rules and history of your kind but I will tell you everything that has happen since we’ve been here and you would be able to figure out more then me.” I said and he nodded for me to go ahead. So I preceded to tell him everything that has happened except the details behind the pups birth which I’m sure he knows how babies are born and left of the meeting with the moon goddess and definitely not what happened last night. Once I finished he looked shocked and confused.

“I don’t know what to say. We have never had a human as our other half I thought it was just infatuation that went to far. The babies were a anomaly that would changed our way of life and allowed of to choose a human not that we could possibly be our other half. But it still doesn’t explain how he has marked another but still feel the mates bond with you.” He said pacing the floor. “Well that is what is happening. I honestly didn’t know he would have that reaction to you being here if I did I wouldn’t have brought you here. I honestly don’t know how I feel and that isn’t fair to you. So I think you should got back to uncle Felix until I figure it out I really don’t want to have to go through this every time he see you. I have to deal with him because he is the father of my babies. So until then I think we should take a break. I said as a lump formed in my throat. I hated doing this when I know that I would still have to deal with Summer the wacko and I’m expected to act like I have sense but Kahi can’t do the same.

Dom looked sad but he nodded and came over to me and held me in his arms for a long while before he let me go. Walking me to the door he grabbed me and turns me around. Hold my face in his hand. “Look Lahni I want you to know if you need me you only have to call and I will be here and if you need a place to go no matter the time my door will always be open to you he said as he kissed my lips and slipped what I’m assuming is his house keys in my hand before I walked out of the door and ran smack into my cousins who were waiting like a hawk. “OK spill it and don’t leave nothing out.” Shawna said pulling me out of the pack house doors. I don’t care how serious the situation is, we will never miss a chance to get the play by play. Hey I can’t say s**t I’m the same way.

“Damn, Lahni you’re better then me because I wouldn’t make my man leave when he got a whole wife who is always trying to get you killed or put in jail and he does absolutely nothing.” Mina said as he headed to the clearing in our back yard. Lynn seems to think in order to relieve stress we should beat our body to a pulp. So we’re we sparring doing hand to hand. Some of the women from the pack came to join. Most of them don’t have any training not that they couldn’t they just left it for the men to do. “So how would yall defend yourselves if the the bad guys were able to get to you how would you protect your little babies?” Lynn asked. The women looked completely terrified and have never thought about it that way. “Just because it has never happened doesn’t mean it won’t. Since we have been here we have had to fight for our lives.” Mina said. The ladies gradually left and some came back in workout clothes or comfortable pants and shirts. They were naturally strong and fast so we taught them basic moves they were actually pretty good.

We also told them that although they learn these moves. The hardest thing is not allowing fear to freeze them or forget their training we tell them the best way to not freeze is to think of why you need to fight for most it was their pups or other loved ones. “But you always run first and if possible hide your babies if you know you can’t escape and you need to teach them what to do in case of emergency. We could also teach the children survival skills if by chance they are alone and have to reach a safe place alone. We could do drills with pre teens and teenagers who will have to keep the wee babies safe.” I said deep in thought thinking about Raz and what happened the day the rogues attacked us.

The women nodded in agreement and we set up a time for the women to bring their kids over we will have the women run drills with their babies and make sure they have a solid emergency plan. We practiced for another hour before the ladies left us as we started on our target practice. Oh how I missed my crossbows I had 2 purple crossbows 1 old school and 1 custom made snipper crossbow oh course I love my old school one because I always feel like that girl on the cartoon Brave. Yes I love cartoon and Disney my cousins always call me childish because my TV stays on Disney shows and movies. We practice crossbow target and knives throwing. By the time we finished my arms and legs we cussing my a*s out.

I was going to pick up the girls but that s**t not happening until I take a bath and a nap. I’m glad momma Teri said we could take as long as we won’t. But I know better then to leave them there a long time because by the time we get them back they would be rotten and spoiled and wont let us put them down, and we not going through that anymore. So with a solid plan we all crowled up the steps with Lynn laughing behind us looking like she didn’t even broke a sweat. Did I mention I don’t like that b***h.
