Shawna’s POV:

Why the hell does it feel like I’m sleeping on rocks I swear I’m getting another bed to sleep on because this is not working out. I g*****d as I opened my eyes to see a whole bunch of people standing around like it is some kind of gathering or backyard party. I know I didn’t get drunk and pass out Lahni will never let me hear the end of it. I frown because no backyard party I have ever been to had this many people standing around like they were about to start a war. What the hell is going on around here? I looked around and see my cousins who looked pissed and afraid. I look to the person they were arguing with because drunk or not is the b***h they arguing with wont see me coming if she want smoke with my family I looked at the dudes standing in front of me looking like they are in the military and well built.

They have knives on their belts already planning to get one of their knives to use. I looked back at the b***h my cousin was talking to and that’s when I saw her. The b***h who stabbed me and almost killed me and my baby that’s when everything came back in a rush, and I am f*****g pissed I feel a little weak so I know I will have to throw the knife to disable her because I don’t think I will have time nor the strength for a chest or head shot. So, I needed a distraction in order to strike and then try to get away, taking a deep breath. Oh well, folks I’m sure yall know what I’m about to say so I won’t even bother we will just see how this turns out. “Well damn yall couldn’t even give me a bed to wake up on I was stabbed by my man’s ex protecting our babies and yall just have me leaning against a damn tree.” I said and use their distraction to grabbed the guy’s knife and threw it as hard as I could and it hit here in the thigh I punched and grabbed and pulled at their nuts, then I crawled away as fast as I could towards my cousins, because I didn’t try to get up and run because I figured I wouldn’t be stable on my feet because I didn’t know how long I was unconscious. So, army crawling it is I refuse to be the girl in the scary wood to run and fall breaking my ankle. In movie if I die it won’t be because of stupid s**t like running and falling.

I love my cousin because they didn’t waste time they reacted knowing they need to keep them busy so I would have a chance to get the hell away from these crazy bitches I mean damn you got a pregnant b***h having us kidnap because of some d**k then you got a b***h coming back from the dead for the d**k. I started screaming and the first name that came to my mind was….”SHADOW!” I yelled as I tried to digging my nails into the ground trying to at least slow them down so somebody can save my a*s.

Shadow’s POV:

I needed to get to Shawna these f*****g rogues are somehow stronger than before, still not match for us but they are slowing us down. It’s like they are on something, there are more feral and wilder then they usually are. I can’t believe Shawna took a risk like that after she literally just woke up from being on unconscious. When I get my hands on her we are going to have a long talk on what to do while pregnant. “What the f**k are these fucker hyped up on?” Ji’lahni said, as she used her crossbow and her gun protecting the alpha’s body while the alpha ripped heads off from the front they were in sync just as an alpha and true Luna should be. I don’t know but it’s time to end this the witch is somehow controlling them or using magic giving them extra power we have to take her a*s out of wound her.” Mina said as she shot another rogue that tried to attack hunter’s wolf.

“You ain’t said nothing but a word, just make sure she can’t use her magic to hit me. Every time she tries to use her magic throw someone attack her. Baby I got this trust me ok? I need you to run as fast as you can towards the witch, and I’ll do the rest.” Lynn said before Diego roared and raced full speed towards the witch. She saw him run towards her and she lift her hand to release her magic on Diego and Lynn the alpha and Ji’lahni charged at her and Ji’lahni fired shots from both her gun and her cross bow and Mina, and hunter attacked before she could fire on the alpha and Ji’lahni. It looked like they have been training together for years instead of a few months with absolutely no training. I was ripping rogue wolves that tried to stop me from reaching Shawna.

She was crawling through rogue bodies not stopping or pausing at all. Our rogue bodies our eyes met for a split second and before she change direction and headed towards me. That made Rane roar and started killing rogues left and right to get to our Shawna we had to reach her she was depending on us, and I refuse to let her down this time. As soon as I rip the throat out of the last 2 rogues blocking my path I made a beeline straight to Shawna and I was stopped in my track as my mate stepped into my path both me and Shawna looked up at the same time she looked at me and all I saw was sadness in her face remembering what happened the last Shaid was between us. But I wouldn’t fail her and pup again I can’t lose them even if it means losing my life in the process because they were worth it.

“Well mate why didn’t you just come with me when I told you we could leave we could have been happy together away from all this, but you just couldn’t leave that filthy human woman.” Shaid said as she slowly walked towards me. Rane growled and Shifted if I’m going to this then I need to do it as me. “What happen to you to you Scar why are you doing this. We could have gotten you help the doc could have found a way to help you.” I pleaded one last time the mate I once knew deserved that much. But she only laughed. “Oh, please don’t you get it by now I’m a vampire you fool. I am not your mate I guess I just look like her.” She said with a shrug. “What you are my mate I don’t know what that witch has done to you or what she has told you, but you are my mate. Just help me get Shawna out of here and I promise we will figure it out together. Just don’t do this don’t make me…”I trailed off just as I heard Shawna screamed and yelled.

“SHADOW!” I immediately started to run to Shawna. I was punched in the side of the head by my mate. “s**t Scar don’t make me do this.” I said as I dodged her punches. I have to admit she was pretty damn good. “Well, I guess I you want be saving that human w***e then. After I kill her I will drain her dry.” Shaid said as she jumped and kicked at my head I caught her leg and threw her to the ground. I was done playing. “Well, it looks like my mate has finally grew some balls. Well, this should be fun.” She said as she charged at me. Although I always fight with Rane in control I’m not going to this time my wolf is powerful, but I was d excellent fighter in my human form as well. I mastered as Taekwondo, Jujitsu, Muay Thai and kickboxing. “hey, stop bragging and get to our Shawna.” Rane said in my subconscious. “So, you’re ok with fighting our mate.” I asked. “Our mate is sick and is threatening our Shawna and pup they come first.” He said sadly both of us not liking what we are about to do.
