The Alpha's Plus Size Urban Human Mate
The Alpha’s Plus Size Urban Human Mate – Chapter 86

Ji’lahni’s POV:

Me and Lynn moved away from Zane’s office door in shock. We had no idea how deep this thing went with the witch. I was honestly afraid for my cousin, with Shadow’s mate being a vampire and all, who actually was just a victim in the witch’s sick game. I know she said she was done with Shadow, but I also know she truly loves him, and she just needed what we all needed was for the man she loves to choose her without any influence or her having to sell herself, showing she is the better choice. We were all the same when it came to that. We don’t believe in trying to convince a man of our worth. If our actions don’t show and prove our worth, then man must not be worthy of us, and that’s something we stand on even if we have to do it heartbroken and, balling our eyes out, because we’re still human and have feelings, but we always try and use logic and reality instead of emotions we just make sure that we feel the emotions while doing what’s best for ourselves. It’s ok to not be ok while doing what you know is right for you.

“Let’s hurry and get out of here we have been here too long.” Lynn said as she pulled me to another room. We checked three rooms before we found one that looked like it could belong to a kid. We entered the room quietly. Once we shut the door, we went over to the bed and saw a small form curled up in a ball sleeping. I cried silently after seeing him. It was like I was able to save at least one of our baby’s, after feeling so helpless, not being able to do anything to save my girls. Seeing Razz and knowing that he was ok made me feel better and more hopeful. I went to his sleeping form and gently touched his shoulder to wake him up. He stretched and yarned lazily as he opened his eyes. Once his vision adjusted and he saw it was me, he jumped into my arms crying his little eyes out. “SSSHHH it’s ok I got you. I told you I would come get you. You’re ok, I said as I hugged him tightly. He then turned to Lynn and reached for her. The usual tough nail woman melted as the young baby cried on her shoulders. “Hey, we need to get out of here. We have to be very quiet, can you do that? Can you be a big boy for tee tee?” Lynn asked, placing Razz on the floor, who wiped his eyes and nodded.

I went to replace him some shoes and a jacket. Once he was ready, we went back into the hallway to go back the way we came when we heard the Alpha and his beta coming our way. “I’m going to check on the pup before I leave.” We heard Zane say. “s**t, get back into the room.” Lynn said, as we rushed back in. “Razz take the jacket off and get back in the bed and pretend to be asleep we will hide in the closet and wait for him to leave.” I said, as Razz nodded took off his jacket and hoped back into the bed covering up. Me and Lynn squeezed into the closet together. “This is the closest we have ever been to each other. I can finally hug you and say I was your first.” I said jokingly. She stifled a laugh. “I swear if we get caught I’m beating your a*s now shut the hell up. You know they have superhuman hearing,” Lynn said, smiling. “While if we die tonight I will still tell Mina and Shawna that I got to hug you first. When we get to heaven.” “Heaven? You think your a*s is going to heaven?” Lynn said, laughing silently. I narrowed my eyes and was getting ready to respond when we heard the door open. Our hearts are beating so fast I know if we can hear it those damn wolves can.

Shawna’s POV:

“What the f**k are they doing?” I said to myself I saw them re-enter Razz’s room. I was watching that room because while I was scanning all the window with the heat vision binoculars I was able to see his heat signature, so I kept my eyes on it and the area and waited for them to replace the room Razz was in. I could have told them where he was because we had earpieces, but we didn’t have them on. If we turned them on it will vibrate to let us know to turn ours on but it was only to be used when it was an emergency, and the plan was for them to search for him first. So, I waited until they entered the room and saw them when they woke Razz up, and he jumped into their arms, and I cried as I watched him hug both lahni and Lynn. He has become like our little nephew/son, we loved him from the moment we saw his little puppy or wolfy face. They once they left out I peeped through the kitchen window and saw Mina standing behind the door. “Is this b***h eating grapes out of the fruit bowl on the counter. I swear we are the most dysfunctional rescue team ever. Scanning the windows, I stopped when I saw Lahni, Lynn and Razz reentered the room and put Razz back in bed and they got into that tight a*s closet.

That must mean someone was coming. So, I did a quick glance back to the kitchen and the outside doors and focus on the room they were in just in case whoever came into the room, decided to check the closet I would have to take them out. Which would break the window and no doubt alert everyone in the house. Then all hell would break loose. “s**t I knew we can never do s**t, and it go off smoothly. “You know when you’re the lookout you’re not supposed to take bathroom breaks you might miss something.” Someone said from behind me with an evil smile. “s**t so much for me staying out of sight. I swear baby you’re supposed to help momma out not snitch on me.” I said to myself. Well here comes the bullshit. I turned on the earpiece, so they know it’s an emergency. I hope they can get the hell out of here while I try to stall for time before I have to protect myself.

Ji’lahni’s POV:

“God damnit I mouthed as my earpiece vibrated. The look of shock on Lynn’s face said the same thing I’m sure mine says. “Uh guys, somethings up, I think Shawna is in trouble. I’m going back out to help her. The coast is clear so far so once you get Razz get your asses out of there.” Mina said, through the earpiece. We couldn’t say anything because Zane and his beta were still in the room with Razz. “Zane, you know having him here is a risk, he is putting the entire pack at risk of an attack. You have made too many enemies over the years. If they get wind that your son’s pup is now in our packs they will come after us to get to him. I know you don’t like to think about it. But we could still eliminate him and remove him from ever being a threat to the pack and your goals.” The beta said, and Zane growled. I told you to never speak on that again. I will make him a servant and treat him like we do all servants no one will think I care for him if he suffers just like the Omegas do.” Zane said and I had to hold my composure. I’m glad we are taking him out of here. There is no way I would ever allow him to suffer at the hands of his own grandfather. That man is a vile animal and I wish I could shoot an arrow straight up his a*s. Just then sirens blared.

“What the hell was that?” The beta asked. “They are saying there are intruders outside the borders!” We heard a third person who must have entered. “Damn do you think it’s the witch?” The beta asked. “I doubt it she wouldn’t have bothered trying to hide outside our borders she would have just portal into my office. Let’s go get one of the Omegas to come get the boy and take him to the cellars with the rest of the Omegas.” Zane said as he and the beta left out of the room. “s**t! We have to get out of here.” I said opening the closet door Razz was already putting on his jacket and heading to the door. “Shawn, Mina! What’s happening? what’s going on? I whispered into the earpiece. “My baby snitched on me, and a guard found me. I tried to stall but he decided he didn’t want to talk, so me and Mina are trying to hold him off. Yall need to get your a*s here now!” Shawna yelled then told Mina to duck as she must have used a weapon.

“s**t! Let’s get the hell outta here. Before s**t gets out of hand.” I said as we raced downstairs and out of the pack house. There was nobody in our path this time but the same ones that were still knocked out. The other guards must be heading to where Shawna and Mina was. “Razz I need you to shift and get your butt to the car it’s a straight shot through those trees you don’t stop or turn around no matter what you hear you get in and lock the door and wait until you see us before you unlock the doors got it?” I asked, Razz nodded and then shifted and ran in the direction I pointed. “Let’s get to these fools before we all are killed or caught.” Lynn said as we hightailed it up the hill. When we got there we saw Shawna firing shots and throwing stars and knives while Mina was firing shots using two guns. The wolves were closing in fast, and more could be seen in the distance. Making us wonder why they took the long way to get to the location. But we didn’t have time to dwell on it. We circle around and approached them from the back. Lynn pulled out her dragon blade and a gun then jumped into the air firing three shots taking out four wolves before coming down slicing the throat of a wolf that was close to Shawna. About damn time yall got yall lazy asses here.” Shawna said, looking more relaxed. “Hey how the hell is this our fault you’re the one who can’t hold it.” I said looking at her as I fired my crossbow hitting one of the wolves in the chest. “Whatever. Where is Razz did you get him?” Mina asked as she threw a knife at a wolf that was about to attack Lynn from the back. “Yes, he’s in the car, so let’s get the hell out of here.” I said as we turned and hightailed it to our car only to be cut off by ten wolves and the one and Only Zane, who smiled evilly. “Well, well, what a nice surprise to see you here on my pack lands my beautiful mate. You should have told me you were coming I would have made sure to welcome you properly.” He said, excitedly. A little too, excitedly for my liking. “Damn, this dude can’t take a hint.” I whispered. So only my cousins could hear.
