Antoni’s POV:

The witch left my quarters an hour ago. Fiona should have been here with the girls by now. Something must have went wrong. I thought pacing the floor. “Maybe I need to go out and replace where they are keeping the twins myself I have the layout of the entire castle I should be able to replace them.” I said to myself as I walked to where the map of the castle was hidden, Looking at the map Fiona had told me what said of the castle that she was in and where the babies were put when they weren’t with me. Studying the map, folding it up, and putting it in the pillowcase I’m using to store items I was able to gather from when the servants would bring me dinner, silverware bread and I had asked for an extra bread water and fruit all day today. Because I don’t know what’s waiting for us out there, I wanted to make sure we had enough items to last us for at least a day or two. Tying my pillowcase I walked over to the door, but it opened on its own and Urrale was standing at the door. She frowned at me, and I quickly dropped my sack behind the door. “what’s going on Toni?

Why are you at the door?” She asked eyeing me. “I heard someone at the door, and I figured it was my grand pups, so I tend to meet the servant at the door because they are always crying their little heads off.” I said, as I back away blocking the pillowcase and using my foot to push it further behind the door and allow her to enter. “What are you doing here Urrale, You have already been here tonight and where is my grand babies they are usually here by now.”

I asked, starting to get a bad feeling. “Well, that’s what I’m here to talk about. Since we have gotten back together I have tried everything to get them to warm up to me so that we could finally be together as a real family. But that hasn’t happen and I think as long as they are around we wont be able to really move forward with our life and they will only come between us.

So, I was thinking maybe if we allow one of my servants to keep them and care for them then we wouldn’t have to worry about them and they will be raised as servant children, before you say no I will make sure the servant will have a nice room in the castle.” She said, as she walked to a table that was set up for us to have dinners together, but I never ate while she was here.

“No! If you take away my grand pups I will never love you, we will never be together you will have to kill me.” I said angrily, my body trembling with anger I couldn’t contain. “Don’t you understand that those pups are coming between us, you are barely present when I come see you. All you do is ask about those babies and asking when could they be brought to you. I’m just trying to make sure you’re safe. Everything I have done is to protect you. “She said coming to stand in front of me her magic radiating off her skins. What the hell is wrong with her? She seems almost desperate. “Look, I will help you with the pups. I understand that I haven’t been doing my part.

Send the girls to me for the rest of the night and you come here in the morning, and we can start the bonding process. If they see us together then they will come around. How does that sound?” I asked hoping like hell she buys the bullshit I’m selling. I didn’t want to lay it on too thick especially when I have only shown her anger, disgust, and hate since I came here. She looked at me for a moment and her face broke out into an excited smile.

“Ok we can do that; I will make sure we have the best breakfast prepared and make sure the babies will have lots of toys so we can play with them. Oh, my goodness we are going to be like a real family.” She said happily as she hugged me before practically dancing out of the room. We really need to get the hell out of here now.

A little while later there was a knock on my door and this time I breathed a sigh of relief because it was Fiona, and she had the girls who were sleeping and dressed just as I instructed. She had them in a backpack with their little heads sticking out. I took the backpack and put it on my back because I was a faster and stronger runner then the she wolf.

She had the pillowcase with the items I packed in them over her shoulder. “Are you ready?” I asked, and she nodded as I opened the door and slipped out of the room and to the passage I memorized from the map. The she wolf was very helpful with telling me where the guards were stationed none of them were a match for me. I made sure that the bodies weren’t easily seen so they wouldn’t blast the alarm as quickly. It took us 30 minutes to make it to the only door that didn’t have a spell on it simply because it was used for deliveries and was always guarded by at least three guards. I handed the twins to the she wolf. “I need you to stay out of sight I don’t want them to see you or the twins if anything goes wrong you go back to my room and place my things there and take care of the twins. I know my son will come for them you just make sure they are not harmed until he gets here is that clear?” “Yes, alpha you can trust me I will protect them with my life I know what I did now was wrong and I will do whatever I can to make it right.”

The she wolf said with tears in her eyes. I nodded and rounded the corner where the three guards were. They quickly took a defensive stance. “What the hell are you doing out of your quarters? Does the master know you’re down here?” Two of them asked. “Why would your master know my where abouts when I’m planning to get the hell out of here.” I said with a shrug. “Look old man, we are going to escort you back to your quarters and if you come quietly we may not tell the master about your little escape attempt. You’re no longer an alpha and in this castle you have none of your wolf’s strength.” One guard said as he approached me which was his first and last mistake.

I closed my eyes, took a deep breath, and allowed the man I kept hidden from everyone to come out. When I opened my eyes whatever he saw made him pause but it was too late to rethink his decision. I quickly stabbed him in the neck with a spoon and tossed a fork in the air and kicked it where it landed in the throat of the second guard before he even thought of attacking the third guard charged at me and I ducked, punched him in the groin, landed an upper cut to his chin with a butter knife. I quickly removed the bodies from the door and went around the corner to get Fiona and the girls only to come to a halt when I see her being held by the neck by a big linebacker looking dude who had my grand pups hanging from his hands. “I’m glad I decided to head to the kitchen to get a sandwich. Seems like to me that you and this b***h were trying to escape with the master’s babies. He said squeezing Fiona’s neck a little tighter making her gasp and struggle.

“You feel like a man handling a small helpless woman like that. Is that why you wanted to tell me your little story about your late-night food run? I guess little babies and small women is more your speed huh tiny?” I asked and he growled as he dropped both Fiona and the babies. She quickly got the babies and put them on her back as she tried to catch her breath. I’m glad I got the weapons I used on the other guards because I am damn sure I will need it.

I needed to fight smarter not harder. I will need to tire him out and make sure I hit him in the correct spots to disable him. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes I really needed to center myself. I needed to use all my senses. With my eyes close I could hear the big oaf when he swung I dodged and did two quick jabs to his ribs with the fork. He grunted in anger and charged at me attempting to put me in a bear hug. I jumped and kicked him in the jaw knocked a few of his teeth out and his neck snapped from the force.

I heard Fiona gasped when the big guy fell to the ground with his eyes still open. “Let’s go before someone else decides they need a late-night snap. We raced out of the castle and into the dark night. “Son I got your pups out, it’s up to you now.” I tried to mind link which I knew didn’t work because I still don’t feel my wolf.
