The Alphas’ P**n Star Mate
Chapter 55 – The Alphas’ Porn Star Mate

The pack house as we walked through was full of life. There was a direct route from Mick's bedroom to the kitchen so I had missed it before, but now that we were walking through the main parts, I was fascinated by the differences between Setting Sun Pack and Fire Moon. Here, warriors and omegas were walking around freely, talking amongst themselves and everyone looked relaxed and happy. The packhouse was well-kept and lovely, with a homey feel. It didn't feel like the stiff cold packhouse of Fire Moon. The flowers resting in mismatched vases around the rooms were wildflowers, all fresh picked. One even had a bee on the petals of a sunflower.

I smiled at the wondrous sight of children running through the foyer, giggling while chasing one another. None of the people around seemed bothered by their presence. Being an orphan of Fire Moon Pack, I knew all too well how coldly children were treated there, especially if they didn't have parents to protect them from the pack's harshness. School and the orphanage were the only places I could freely play. The warriors would reprimand you if they saw you playing outside of those places. Warrior training was my retreat when I came of age, but then stupid Cameron had to be my mate and I lost that home among the other women warriors as well."Are there women warriors here?" I asked, now that the question popped into my mind.

Mick shrugged. "Yeah. Why wouldn't there be?""Do they have to stay separate from the rest of the pack?"

"No," Mick laughed. "Why would they?"

I just shrugged, depressed about the reason for my question. Cameron's father made us live and do everything separate from the men. Only the ranked wolves were allowed to freely fraternize with us. We would be paired up with the male warriors for guard shifts sometimes, and shared a warrior dining hall, but we were still monitored.

Everyone seemed so free here to do what they wanted. It was satisfying to see.

"Do you want to see the warrior's building later?"

"Is that where the warriors live?" I asked.

"No, just train. Most warriors live here or in family housing around the pack."

Only ranked wolves lived in the pack house at Fire Moon. The two packs were like night and day.

"I'd actually love that," I said excitedly. "I was a warrior in my old pack before..." I made a face. "Before Cameron found out we were mates. I had to quit after that."

Mick stopped us, pulling me to face him and raking his hands through the back of my hair. His strong hands were angling my face to look up at him. His blue eyes were sensual and soft, looking down at me.

"You can be whatever you want to be with me, Chloe." He smirked, resting his head on mine. "Be it a porn star or a warrior. You can do whatever makes you happy."

"Can I?" I giggled. "I wanted to be a clown when I was in pre-k. Would you be okay with that?"

He sucked in air between his teeth. "Ooh. Clowns. I'm terrified of clowns."

"No you're not!" I laughed.

"I am! Haven't you seen IT?"

"IT? Like, the scary movie, IT?"

"That's the one."

"Can't say that I have," I shrugged.

"You should watch it some time. You will be scared shitless of clowns too."

"I don't like scary movies," I wrinkled my nose. "I have enough anxiety in my life without them."

"Well, what if I'm right there with you, holding you to calm you down?" he husked smoothly in my ear. "Hmm, I could be persuaded."

He was quiet for a minute, then said, "Maybe I don't have to be the only one there to keep you calm."

I jerked back, looking at him in surprise. "What do you mean?"

His eyebrows pulled down for a minute, then a smile smoothed over his face. It looked a bit forced. "Nothing. Nevermind. Let's get going."

"Oooh, looks like someone is changing his tune," Cortina snickered.

"I'm sure he just meant that we could watch it with our Broom StiXXX family," I told her, not wanting to get her hopes up. Or mine, if I was being honest. Having both Miles and Mick there to distract me all through a scary movie sounds too tempting, and I'm not for one second giving in to the idea that that could be what Mick meant. "You never know," Cortina said in a cheery voice that didn't match my thoughts. "Someone might be planting ideas in his head too."

Mick POV

What the hell was that? "Maybe I don't have to be the only one there to keep you calm,"? What the hell was I thinking?

I started thinking about being alone in a dark room with Chloe sitting beside me, trembling and looking fucking adorable while frightened of a scary movie. Suddenly, my brother was in the image, sitting on her other side, distracting her in one ear while I whispered sweet seductive words in her other. It looked so right. It felt so right as the thought drifted through my head that I blurted it out without thinking. Ever since we sat down at breakfast, these thoughts have been getting more vivid. Every time Miles would stare at Chloe, my first instinct would be pride. Not jealousy like yesterday. Chloe is fucking gorgeous. She's a goddess in every way. No one is more worthy of two Alphas than her.

See. There I go again. As her fragrant sage scent drifted up to me, I envisioned my brother and I both groveling in it, worshiping her fragrant, soft body in every way.

"She deserves the love of two," a deep, hoarse voice faintly groaned in my head. I thought I imagined the voice for a minute. It surprised me, but it had to have just been my imagination.

She does deserve the love of two Alphas. She deserves everything in this world that she desires.

I've always paled in comparison to my brother though. I still had a fear that this would be no different. She was mine first. My miracle.

Is it too selfish to want it to stay that way now?

"Yes," that deep voice flinted through my mind again, causing my head to ache, like someone was trying to break it from the inside out. "You will be stronger together."

I was so lost in the delusional ramblings in my head, that we arrived at my brother's office before I realized it. I didn't even recognize the changes my brother had made. My dad kept the Alpha's office dark and intimidating. Miles had painted the walls a light blue and changed the curtains to sheer ones to make the room feel more open.

Dez, Billy and Miles were bent over a computer on Miles's desk. He had a deep scowl in place, looking so much like dad at that moment. He looked fierce and pissed.

Billy was the first to notice us."Hey, Mick," he frowned, looking at the computer and back at me. "Do you know a Mr. Smith, or why might he have a bounty on your mate's head?"
