The Auction
chapter 6

Lila POV

I leave the new girl alone in her room. I don't think she realizes what isto come. They never know when they come here. They are all full ofhope and joy. Damn the phone is ringing. I run down the hall to grab it.It is probably Craig.

I pick up the old black phone. I glance around to make sure no one isaround. "Hello," I speak softly.

"Lila, Is she settled in?" Mr. Craig asks

"Yes. I have her. She is in her room settling in. She is quite beautiful Mr.Craig," I say.

"Good. I will be back tonight. Make sure she is comfortable. DO NOTscare her. Be nice if you know how. Check on her often. Make sure shehas everything she needs. Got IT!" he says demandingly. He hangs upbefore I can respond.

He acts as if I do not know my job. I have helped him gather perfectbreeding bitches from the auction. Of course, this is the first time Jaynegot involved. Poor Jayne. She thought she was sending him a wife anda companion little does she know what he is really up to. At least wedid not have to pay someone to bid this time.

I will keep little Miss Tatina busy and happy. She is in the city with me,of course, she will love it here. I will make sure she is happy. I will be herbest friend and then she will agree to anything we want. Craig, he is sosly with the breeders. He would not bend to his will. He is sexy and kinduntil he gets what he wants them it is over.

Tatina POV

The room they fixed me in absolutely beautiful. I cannot believe all theclothes he bought me. I have never had this many clothes and shoesbefore. I grab a pair of blue jeans from the closet and a white top. I goover to the dresser and grab a bra and a pair of panties. I need ashower.

I walk into the bathroom. Oh my goodness. The bathroom is as big asmy room. A beautiful mirror well lit with makeup and hairbrushes. Theshower is full of shampoos and body washes. I am going to showerwith all of it. Next to the shower is a robe and slippers. There aremultiple lotions and body sprays. I must be in heaven.

I remove my clothes and turn the shower on steaming hot. I step intothe shower and let the water run down my body. I grab a purple bottleof shampoo and start scrubbing my hair. It smells so wonderful. I rinsemy hair and grab a conditioner. The conditioner smells wonderful. I letthe conditioner soak in my hair. I grab a raspberry body wash and soakthe pink sponge in massive amounts of body wash. I scrub every inch ofmy body. I rinse the conditioner out of my hair and continue to let thehot water run over my body. I think I could stay in here forever. I nevergot to shower like this when I was living with my parents.

I step out of the shower. I dry off with one of the huge white towels. Igrab the pink silk robe and slip into it. I towel off my long hair and sitdown at the mirror. I grab a lotion from the counter. Raspberry. I lovethe smell of raspberries. I rub my body with the lotion. I smell fabulous.I towel dry my hair and open the drawers on the counter. I replace facecream and apply it. There is makeup here but I am not a fan of a lot ofmakeup. Maybe just some mascara. I apply some mascara lightly. Ifinish toweling my hair.

I slip into my clothes. I grab the blow dryer and dry my long hair. I getup from the counter and dress quickly. I have dilly-dallied enough. Ineed to eat and see the rest of the house.

When I come back into my room, Lila is waiting for me.

"I see you showered," she says.

"Yes. I feel amazing," I say.

"Good, Mr. Craig wants me to take you to dinner. Slip into somecomfortable shoes and we will walk to a restaurant to eat. Is seafoodokay?" she says.

"Yes. That would be great," I respond.

I slip into a pair of comfortable shoes. I smile at her. Something seemsoff with her. Maybe she is just nervous about having me here. I hopeshe does not think I am trying to take the place of his wife. I did notplan to come here I just landed here.

"I am ready," I say.

"Good. Let us get going. It is only a mile to Miss Zada's Seafood house,"she says.
