"If you don't wanna play ball, then you better do as I say."

Robert had a firm grip on Brittany's weakness. He was confident that she would bend to his will. Then he left with a smug look on his face.

Brittany watched him go; her lips were pressed tight. Her own father treated her like a slave!

She took a deep breath, her whole body tensed up.

Was Robert expecting her to make sacrifices for the Dustin family? No way in hell!

At a well-known bridal shop.

Patrina was surrounded by staff, picking out the perfect wedding dress.

In the lounge, Finn was flipping through a bridal magazine, full of a variety of wedding dresses, one of which was a mermaid dress.

Images flowed through his mind as he saw it.

"Finn, when we get married, I want a mermaid dress. What do you think?" Brittany's voice was clear and melodious. "But I have to work on my figure. I saw this dress, it's super pretty!"

Finn remembered this was the dress Brittany fell in love with. Yet her past actions made him question how she could even discuss the future with him?

"She's here."

"Ms. Dustin, please, this way-

The staff circled around Patrina. She had chosen a satin dress, elegant and noble, her hair pulled up high. Compared to Brittany's beauty, Patrina's was more gentle and refined. This dress was classy, completely mismatching her personality.

"Finn, do you think it's nice?"

"Very nice."

Finn stood up. "Why not try this one?"

He had chosen the mermaid dress that Brittany loved. Although Patrina was not a fan of the mermaid style, she obediently went into the fitting room for him.

After about ten minutes, Patrina came out. Her figure was slim, her body curves were not very pronounced.

A mermaid dress required a perfect figure to show off, but Patrina obviously didn't have that.

Finn stood in front of the mirror, as though seeing another person through Patrina. Beautiful eyes, perfect figure, hair tied up behind, revealing almost perfect features, and sparkling eyes.

If it was Brittany in this dress, she'd pick up the hem and walk over to him, spin around like a proud princess, and ask for his opinion.

"Finn, do you think it's nice?"

Finn's throat bobbed; Patrina's voice almost overlapped with Brittany's at that moment.

"You look great, Bri."

Patrina paled, clenching her dress, her eyes suddenly turning red.

The words had barely left his mouth when Finn realized his mistake. He quickly snapped back to reality, gesturing for the staff to leave, and hugged her waist. "I'm sorry, I got the names mixed up." Patrina's eyes were red, not willing to accept this. Finn was with Brittany for four years. These days, she had been wondering, if he truly loved Brittany during that time?

It now appeared, he did.

Because of this, she wanted to completely cut off Brittany's retreat.

"Finn, I know you value emotions highly, and it's only normal that you're used to Brittany after being with her for so many years." Patrina didn't get angry. Instead, she comforted him. "If she hadn't left you when you were in danger, I would even believe she had truly loved you."

Finn froze at the mention of this.

"Patty......"

"Finn, it's okay, we have a lot of time. We'll be fine."

Patrina knew his weakness, and how to stir up his disgust for Brittany.

Sure enough, Finn hugged her waist tightly. "You're right, she isn't worth my time."

Brittany had betrayed him back then. When he was in the most danger, she chose to save herself.

He had just played with Brittany's feelings and dumped her when he had had enough! That was him showing mercy.

In the end, they chose the mermaid dress. Finn was determined to show the world his exclusive feelings for Patrina. He took her to a jewelry store and purchased expensive jewelry.
