Elijah

POV

It took everything in me to leave her and go back to my room. If I could I would have just stayed there the whole night.

But the guards on shift would pass by sooner or later, so I made my way back, working on an escape plan.

I always had a plan to leave. I knew how to get past the guards and cross the border. I just never did it. The thought of becoming a Rogue always terrified me. Leaving a pack, no matter how shitty it was, was not something you did lightly.

But if I had to give up pack life to be with my mate, I would definitely do it. I couldn't stand by and watch while they hurt her. My mate.

Sally.

I fell in love within a matter of minutes. That's how strong the mate bond was.

When I got back to my room, thoughts about living with Sally in a human town somewhere made a smile appear on my face.

"What are you so happy about?" Lucas asked.

Lucas was my best friend. Most people stayed away from me, barked orders or jeered at me, but not Lucas. We never went anywhere together, we made an agreement to stay away from each other during the day and then spew our miseries to each other at night. Still, I hesitated. Lucas was always very loyal to the pack. That's all he ever knew, I guessed. I wondered if he would tell the Alpha if he knew. Could I trust him?

"I just met my mate." I told him, after a moment.

His eyes widened.

"Really? Congrats dude! Who's the lucky girl?"

An idea popped up in my head.

"I can't tell you just yet. But could you cover for me tomorrow during the full moon?"

Lucas smirked.

"You wanna woo her or something? Bring flowers, girls like that!"

I laughed.

"You cover for me, and I'll make sure to come back marked and mated."

Lucas gave me a high five and I heaved a sigh of relief. This could work. If no one noticed that I was missing until after we left, we would get a great head start. "Thanks man."

Sallys words about the Alpha interrogating her worried me though. I just hoped that she would be okay.

Sally POV

I ate the apple quickly and threw it back out the window. After that I fell into an uncomfortable sleep, tossing and turning because of the stinging in my back.

I woke up when the cell door opened and Beta Rafe walked in.

"Good morning, sweetie." He sang cheerfully.

I glared at him.

"So, shall we pick up where we left off yesterday?"

I scrambled to the furthest corner of the cell to get away from him, but he was too fast and pulled me up by the hair. I cried out and banged my first on his chest, but he tied my hands behind my back so I couldn't reach him. "A fighter huh?"

I turned my head to the door and saw an unknown man standing by the cell door.

The man was huge, even bigger than Beta Rafe. He had light blonde hair and his intense blue eyes made me shiver. I assumed that this was their Alpha and I felt fear grip me.

I froze and stared at him when he walked closer and grabbed my hair, making Beta Rafe let me go.

"I think you and I are going to have a lot of fun."

"Please let me go." I pleaded, but he just laughed.

"I am Alpha Richard. What's your name, pretty?"

I remembered what Elijah said. If they found out I was blacklisted they would kill me. I had to hold him off today, and then I could get out of there.

Assuming that Elijah didn't change his mind.

No.

I couldn't think like that right now.

He would come for me.

He had to.

"How did a sweet thing like yourself end up a Rogue?" Alpha Richard asked when I didn't reply.

I shook my head and once again pleaded for him to let me go.

Alpha Richard pulled out a syringe. I struggled to get away from him, but Alpha Rafe grabbed my arms and held me still while Alpha Richard pushed the contents of the syringe into my arm.

I felt the familiar burning and knew they had just injected me with Wolfsbane.

In large doses, Wolfsbane was lethal to a werewolf. In smaller doses it was painful and could slow down our healing abilities. I just hoped that they hadn't given me too much of it.

I fell to my knees, gasping for air when the Wolfsbane traveled through my bloodstream.

"Why are you a Rogue?"

I groaned in pain from the Wolfsbane, but didn't answer.

"Are you blacklisted? Is that why you won't talk?"

Remembering what Elijah said, I shook my head.

"I-I can't g-go back." I said through gritted teeth.

Now they'd think that I might be of some value to them after all.

I hoped.

"So you ran away from somewhere? Is that it?"

I decided to keep my mouth shut from now on.

A hard slap in my face caused me to fall to the ground, my head pounding and my ears ringing. I felt the urge to bring my hands to my face, but since they were tied behind my back, there wasn't anything I could do. Alpha Richard pulled me up in my hair and brought my face very close to his. I squirmed trying to get away from him.

He chuckled, the sound made my blood run cold.

"I'm gonna take my time with you."

My body started to go numb from the wolfsbane and I forced myself to think about Elijas beautiful eyes.

I dropped to the ground when Alpha Richard let go of my hair. He rolled me over on my back, straddled my waist and extended his claws. I tried to get away from him, but with my hands tied I was helpless. Alpha Richard dragged his claw along my sternum and I cried out in agony.

He chuckled and licked his bloodied claw.

How did this psycho become Alpha?

"Why are you a Rogue?" Alpha Richard asked.

I shook my head.

Alpha Richard put his hand on my throat and tightened the grip. I gagged and squimed, but he just laughed.

"Look at you, all pinned down like a delicate butterfly." He chuckled.

"Pl-please." I whimpered.

I tried so hard to imagine Elijah in front of me, but soon panic washed over me and I thrashed against his grip. Alpha Richard let go of my throat and I gasped.

"Why are you a Rogue?" He asked again.

I turned my head away and didn't reply.

His fist connected with my cheek, and I struggled to stay conscious.

"String her up." I heard him say before darkness engulfed me.

I pried my eyes open and realized that I was back with my hands tied above my head. I felt blood trickle down my stomach from the wound on my sternum, so I couldn't have been out for that long.

Usually the wound would have healed within an hour, but the Wolfsbane in my system slowed down my healing abilities and I wondered if I would even have the strength to leave when Elijah rescued me. Alpha Richard waved his claws in front of my face and I shuddered.

I heard a loud tearing sound when his claws ripped my shirt open.

"Please." I whimpered softly. "Let me go."

"No no baby, we're just starting."

His hand caressed my stomach and I froze.

"I really want a piece of this."

He slapped my ass and I yelped, my tears that I had tried to hold for so long were now flowing freely down my cheeks.

"Please stop." I pleased, but I knew it was falling on deaf ears.

This was bad.

Really bad.

I wondered if it was karma. I basically accused Tommy for trying to mate with me against my will and now it was about to happen for real.

Is this the way I would lose my virginity?

Alpha Richard got behind me and put his arms around my waist. He started to undo the belt of my jeans and pulled them down to my ankles.

I felt paralyzed with fear when I realized that there was no way out of this.
