However, the Turnbulls missed one thing—Frank's patience had itslimits.

“Listen.” He sneered, shaking his head when Glen offered him Vicky asa reward. "Since you and your family are so sure I was helping theSouth Sea Crow, I shouldn't have helped any of you."

Pointing at Glen, he growled coolly, "Everyone here has beenharassing me and mocking me ever since I came, and to be frank, I'vehad enough. However, I've endured it repeatedly for Vicky's sake."Snorting coolly, he continued, "This will be the last time. I'll replaceevidence that the Lionhearts are scheming against you. But in return, none of you get to negotiate—you will free Vicky unconditionally, or I'llturn against you. And you can trust me when I say that my methods aremore brutal than the South Sea Crow's."

Glen sighed lengthily at Frank's fearsome glare, knowing that Frankwas really angry just then.

"If that's the last time, so be it," he muttered under his breath beforelooking up and saying, "You have my word. This will be the last time—once you have evidence that satisfies everyone, Vicky will be free, andno one in the family will meddle anymore. Will that do?"

Frank nodded, but a servant hurried into the room before he couldspeak.

"Sir, Titus Lionheart is asking to see you..."

He then paused, making an awkward look before continuing, “Thewedding procession has arrived too. And we couldn't stop them..."Frank said nothing after hearing the report and simply stared at Glen.Glen sighed again and kept impassive as he said, "Let them in. I'lexplain things to them.”

A procession of Lionheart cars arrived outside the central banquet hallof the Turnbull estate, each decorated with ribbons and bouquets offlowers.

It was such a long procession of cars that anyone standing from thefront end would miss the other end.

A kindly, rotund and graying old man alighted in a white suit, walkingswiftly up to the waiting Glen while turning toward the servant sat at theback, "Bring in the dowry!"

At his orders, over fifty chests of gems, jewelry and every form ofvaluables were brought up to Glen.

The contests of each chest was obviously worth billions, and given thenumber of chests, it was no exaggeration to say it was priceless.Despite being magnates, many Turnbulls were gaping greedily at thechests.

"Haha..." the graying old man bowed slightly at Glen as he chuckled.“It's really been a while, Mr. Turnbull.”

"Didn't we just meet last week, Aesop?" Glen replied neutrally.

"Oh, I'm really getting senile too soon.” Aesop laughed.

"Ah, you're finally here." Titus arrived just then as well, a look ofunderstanding showing on his face when he saw Aesop.

It seemed that the wedding must go on despite the unforeseencircumstances, and the Turnbulls had no reason to say no.
