Fen Qin had Zeng Mingzhu do another chore for the day rather than to recall every memory of her past. "Fen Qin, I'm sorry that I bothered you once more." Fen Qin could see how upset Zeng Mingzhu was in her heart.

"It's fine. It's not like I haven't gotten used to little sleep. I'll be fine. In the meantime, just go ahead and organize all of these. I haven't gotten time to do it so go ahead and organize these herbs and medicine." Zeng Mingzhu nodded with doing her chores once more. It wasn't bothersome to her, rather, she felt happy that she was repaying Fen Qin back in some kind of way. "I'm going out for a bit. Don't worry about me." Fen Qin went ahead out of the room.

Walking outside, she was just on the path around her home. The path wasn't long, but Fen Qin needed to walk around for some time. It was already night with the moon up once more. Feeling her legs shake, Fen Qin fell to her knees with her body shaking again. Taking out a small bottle, she swallowed a pill that she had made specifically for her.

Fen Qin sighed finally feeling her body stop shaking, but she knew that her body was only being delayed from the poison inside. The pill was just meant to slow down the poison not stop it. 'I'm almost done. I'm very close to the antidote for Sister Qi. I cannot waste anymore materials.' Fen Qin sighed while walking over to the marble table. Leaning on it, she felt her eyes drooping. Yawning, she didn't even realize that she had fallen asleep.

Xue Yahui had finished his discussion with Jiang Gen. They had decided to take a look at the route that the merchants had taken. It would be better to take a look at rather than to not. The chances of being ambushed were slim since they didn't have anything that the bandits or thieves would want.

Walking around on the path, he smiled seeing Fen Qin sleeping at the marble table. "You sleeping outside. That's rare." Xue Yahui carried Fen Qin seeing how she didn't even wake up since he recalled her shaking whenever he touched her. She was deeply asleep which he could see how restless she had been. "Zeng Mingzhu?" Zeng Mingzhu gasped seeing how Xue Yahui was carrying a sleeping Fen Qin. "Where's her room?"

It took a while for Zeng Mingzhu to think clearly. "Down the hall on the left." Zeng Mingzhu said looking to the two. Taking her to her room, he laid Fen Qin down onto her bed. Seeing how she could just sleep so soundly.

"You just rest. I'll replace the herb your looking for." Xue Yahui laid his hand onto Fen Qin's head with a light glowing on top. Making sure that Fen Qin got the full sleep she needed.

Getting up, he went outside to see Jiang Gen sitting down while watching Zeng Mingzhu. Xue Yahui could tell how much Jiang Gen wanted to talk to her. "Hey, don't just sit here all day watching her. That's creepy. Say something." Xue Yahui looked to Jiang Gen since he could see how annoying it was. "Let me help you." Xue Yahui kicked Jiang Gen's chair, breaking one of the wooden leg of it.

"Wha-" Jiang Gen had hit the hard floor below him. Feeling his aching back as he was rubbing it.

"Are you alright?!" Zeng Mingzhu went over to see Jiang Gen on the ground still rubbing his back. "Do you want me to get you some herbs?"

"N-No, i-it's fine." Jiang Gen didn't want to trouble Zeng Mingzhu since he was still afraid of her not being able to recover.

"I'll have to see if I can fix the chair. It has been getting old." Zeng Mingzhu looked to the chair that had the broken leg piece off.

'Lord Xue! You! Huh!' Jiang Gen looked around to not see Xue Yahui anywhere in sight. 'Where did he go?! He must've left when I fell!!!' Jiang Gen grumbled seeing how Xue Yahui could just leave without apologizing.

"Sorry... about before." Jiang Gen got up looking down to Zeng Mingzhu who just apologized.

"No need. It's my fault for not thinking about your health or recovery. It should be me apologizing." Jiang Gen kept his hands behind his back from frightening her.

"Sorry, um. I guess I better fix that chair." Zeng Mingzhu was about to grab the chair when Jiang Gen did instead.

"Don't worry about it. It broke on me so I will fix it. Besides, since you and Fen Qin is taking care of my sister then I might as well help around here also." Jiang Gen smiled to her which Zeng Mingzhu smiled back dback nodding. She felt happy around him, sensing that he wouldn't hurt her.

"Follow me. I'll take you to where the tools are." Zeng had Jiang Gen follow her to their small workshop that was rarely used since they didn't know how to craft much.

Xue Yahui smiled from afar seeing that his method actually worked. "A little thanks would be nice." Xue Yahui said going ahead back to his guest room to stay at. Making it back, he noticed Lord Gang and Xue Liang holding each other out in the open.

"Husband?"

"Hm?"

Xue Liang looked up to Lord Gang who stared down to his wife. "I'm worried still about Yahui." She knew that she shouldn't worry since he was a grown man, but growing old alone was just to sad.

"Wife, we cannot control his life. It is

his decision in the future if he wants to marry anyone or have anyone in. his life. Just know that we will always be there for him. He will always have a home where we are." Lord Gang ensured Xue Liang that they were not going to abandon Xue Yahui.

'Sorry, Liang. I know that you both worry for me since I do not have such thing as a fated one. It does not exist for me since I do not carry such blood in me.' Xue Yahui knew it also that he was not truly related to them since it explained only his immortal traits. 'I have to replace a few things first. I cannot break my words.'IIIIIIIIIIIIIIII
