Alan pulled away the hands on his body, then he took out a bunch of keys, “Don't you be interestedin a Maserati? If your words are true, I will send it to you.”

“It must belong to me.” Ophelia robbed the keys and then walked toward the gate.

She was not hurried, or more precisely, she can't be too hasty. Yes, she indeed wanted to leave hereand sleep with him. But she had been humiliated once, she couldn't make it happen again. In ordernot to be drove out, she’s better walk out herself. Anyhow, there were only a few days left from theirwedding. She saw Alan standing on the balcony. It was cold outside, but he only wore a thin nightgown, as ifhe couldn't feel cold.

When she closed to him , she found there was a cup of wine in his hand.

“It's too cold outside, get in, it would be terrible if you get cold in the first day of New Year.” Shereminded him gently.

Alan shook the wine, looking up the endless fireworks in the sky, “Don’t you think we should enjoydrinking in this beautiful night.”

"Yes, it's really beautiful. How about I drink with you?” Ophelia understood his meaning, thinking thebeautiful night referred to he and she was together this night.

"Okay." Alan smiled

Ophelia turned to catch a cup in the wine cabinet. Seeing there were so many famous wine, shecaught one casually, then filled with one cup and took it with that bottle of wine to outside. Sheclinked with him and had a sip of it, shaking the cup as him, “Brother Alan, do you know how much Ilike you? I liked you from my young age and have dreamed of being your wife for a long time. I'mreally happy now. I know I am willful and have many shortcomings. But I will try to correct those andbecome your good wife and mom's sister-in-law.”

“Mom always likes you.” Alan smiled. Then he took a sip of wine again. But the cold light in his eyeswere hid by the shining light reflected by the crystal glass.

“Yes, It's my honor to have such a good mom-in-law.” Ophelia smiled and then drank up the wine inher glass. When she was about to fill another glass, Alan stretched out his hands and covered hers.“Drinking some wine can beautify for girls, but don't drink too much, it will hurt your health.”

"Just a little. I'm happy today, a half glass more.” When Ophelia acted coquettishly, her delicate redlips pouted and showed a sense of charming feeling.

"Okay, only half a glass. I don’t want to speed a whole night with a drunk woman.” Alancompromised.

"Just rest assured. How can this little wine make me drunk?” Ophelia poured half a glass and thenclinked with him, “Brother Alan, happy New Year, you will have a good starting in this new year.”"Of course, new year will have a new start.” Alan said meaningfully.

The fireworks exploded suddenly in the sky not far away, just like a fair spreading flowers, and theychanged various of shapes and colors.

Ophelia shouted, “Brother Alan, look, it's so beautiful.”

“Yes.” This night reminded him that blind New Year night. In order to take care of him, she didn'tcame home for the first time.

The renters around all went home before the New Year. So when the fireworks exploded in the airthat night, that little yard was very cold and lonely. In order to not let him feel lonely, she speciallyopened the TV which bought from a secondary market. She made the dumplings while talking jokeswith him. She said that she put a coin in a dumpling, they had to be careful when eating, or teethwould be broken.

She also said there was only one dumpling had coin, just seeing who can hit the jackpot.
