The Lycan Series
Bullied By The Lycan King Chapter 86

Axel's POV

Asher the strange new Lycan was a very irritating guy in my eyes and the more he went on and on about history, the more infuriated I became. "Do you know where Willow is?" I asked again.

He snapped his fingers once again and from the corners of my eyes, I scanned to see if his men would bring more files yet that didn't happen.

"You are not paying attention, Axello," he clicked his tongue and snapped his fingers again. "I am trying to tell you something very important but your mind is elsewhere, brother...

My eyes narrowed and I shifted in my seat. It was a miracle that I hadn't tried devouring him already.

I had a million things in my head. For one, I still couldn't forget that Violet was yet to receive her punishment.

This conversation was supposed to be a fast one and I would return to her. But this

Asher guy was purposely dragging it for no good reason.

"Axello, we should-" he started to say and I cut him off at once.

"Asher, I will appreciate it if you stop calling me that and please just get straight to the point!" I growled softly.

*"Oh," he exclaimed and stopped. "Okay, I know what will make you happy Axello..." He got up from his seat and approached me.

My left brow was twitching at his insistence to call me by the name he created but I kept my anger in control. I still needed information about Willow from him... Even if it was starting to look like it was only a game to him. "Where is she?" I asked for the last time.

A smile danced on his lips as his eyes continued searching my face.

"Your dear Willow came to me and she proposed that we join forces -forces she obviously didn't have, ah!" He laughed at his own jokes and at this point, I was close to breaking him.

My anger boiled to the surface and the temperature in the room increased.

My eyes searched for his men and I decided killing him in cold blood wouldn't be a bad idea...

His people would be glad I helped them get rid of a stupid king!

"Asher, I am starting to think you don't know where she is. Do you?" I asked in a low voice.

The smile on his face disappeared and for the first time, I saw some sort of seriousness in him.

"She left my land a few months ago but she will be back. And I can easily get her for you... But I have a request," he said and I felt the hair at the back of my neck stand erect. "What do you want?" I retorted with a tight frown on my face.

"Hmmm, I want someone to breed with," he said and my brows raised in confusion.

"Does this place look like a breeding ground to you?" I growled.

"Ah, relax Axello... I am not saying that." He laughed letting his right hand move into his hair. "Willow will run to me and I will bring her head to you. In return, I want a bride. A Lycan bride." Before I could process what he was saying, he clapped his hands once more and his men appeared from the corners they had been standing in.

"So, Axello... I will see you on the next trip!" He exclaimed with a smile and then motioned to his men.

As they marched out of the throne room, my eyes remained on them. I was trying to determine if he would really bring back her head or if this was just a joke to him...

The guy didn't even look serious. What serious man had bright blond hair as a style?

In the end, I shook my head and turned to Greg. "What do you know about his forces, how great is it?"

If there was going to be a clash, I could close my eyes and attack the annoying guy but I still had to know exactly what he was capable of.

"He is a Lycan Axel. Yes, he is young but he is a Lycan, just like you. Don't underestimate him," Greg said with a straight face.

was going to reprimand him when Nathan's voice filled the room.

"I think Asher will come through and we should rather be talking about what Lycan bride we will give to him when he returns," he said and I felt an itch spread over me. "What makes you think he will fucking succeed? Greg couldn't replace Willow. What assurance do we have that this joker even knows who Willow is?" I hissed in irritation.

It was already a hard job for me to deal with Greg and now even Nathan was acting just like him.

"Everybody out," Greg suddenly said in a deep voice and every guard started shuffling out of the room.

My eyes narrowed into slits as I watched him and waited for what he was about to say that he sent the guards away.

"The Crystal Peak or The forgotten lands as we call it, is an entire kingdom, two sizes the size of our realm. He is young and immature but he is not stupid. Neither is he a joker..." Greg began and I had to stop my eyes from rolling. "If he says he will bring Willow, then he will..."

"So what?" I growled with a shrug. "What if he succeeds, do I give myself to him as a f*****g bride then?"

Nathan slapped his hand to his forehead and hissed. "Axel, will you calm down and try to think this through properly?"

"But I am fucking doing that. I am fucking calm," I spat out with another shrug.

"No, you are not calm when you start sounding like Aunt Emily. You are nowhere calm!* Nathan retorted and I was ready to spit back another series of fire when Greg slapped his hands against the table. "Boys!" He growled.

I swallowed my words and glared at him -both of them. There was nothing he planned to say now, that would make sense.

I was the only Lycan in the realm. And if they even wanted someone with the traits a person that could pass as a Lycan then that would be my aunt.

You want me to hand Aunt Emily to him?" My eyes were wild as I waited for the words that would leave his lips.

You are not the only Lycan, Axel. You have siblings-* he started to say but my hand stretched outward, stopping him from spilling more.

"Do not remind me of my loss, Greg," I hissed as I swallowed the pain that filled my already hurting chest.

But he shook his fread slowly and started moving towards me.

"I don't know if Asher knows this but if he truly did a history search then he knows about your sister..."

His words sank deep into my chest and I paused, deciding to look into this in a different direction. If this Asher guy knew so much...

"Can he could. he know where she is?" + blurted out as my organs froze.

The next words Greg said could change everything in my life in that instance and breathing became a distraction.

"I don't know if he knew but I found your sister..." Greg said and time stopped.

My body seemed to separate from my wolf as time wavered.

My heart was beating

and my mind went numb. My vision turned wet but I got up

and moved to where he stood.

"You did, you found Scarlett?" I whispered, afraid if I spoke too loud, I might wake up and discover that this was a dream. Greg nodded with a smile.

"While searching for Willow in the wilderness close to the forgotten lands, I found a girl that is a spitting image of your mother..." My heart was racing at this point and not every word he said registered in my head.

As if on cue, the door to the throne room opened and two guards stepped in with a hooded figure.

Greg Left my side and walked towards them, while I froze.

He stretched his hand in the figure's direction and called out:

"Scarlett, come to me," he whispered and my legs started trembling as the figure left the guards and came to him.

"It's okay. You are home now..." Greg whispered and slowly he took off the hood from her head, letting it drop to her shoulders.

"That's your elder brother, Axel... Say hello to him..." He urged her.

As her bright green eyes met mine, I didn't need any more explanations from Greg.

It was really her.

My legs developed a mind of their own and I closed up the distance between us. I wrapped her into my arms so tight, and for the first time in years, I let my tears fall freely. I have found my family. It was just Scarlett now but soon I would replace Blade too.
