King Reviere wasn't in a good mood these days not that anyone who met him could say he ever was. The palace servants sensing his unease made sure to over do everything to his specific requirements and bow lower than they normally did so as not to incur his wrath. His coldness and unwelcome seeped into the hall as the leader of the vampires and witches walked into the exquisite hall.

"I never did like England." grumbled Kladimir as he inched away from the powerful lycans strung about, his robe swinging around him. If they so much as sneezed their heads would roll. It was clear as day the power difference between the lycan king and the leaders of the other two factions. He outweighed them greatly.

There was no greeting, nothing to indicate any form of welcome as the hall went so quiet it was uncomfortable. King Arthur's face was hard and plain not showing any acknowledgement to his visitors.

"Arthur. The kingdom sure is flourishing" came the snarky smooth voice of the vampire leader Leon Espat." Wish we could have said the same but we weren't left with much after the great war since your kind almost eradicated us. It's a pity though because I do like the finer things in life."

The minute Arthur opened his mouth it seemed as if the hall vibrated under the strength of it.

"

'It is a shame to be around for so long and have nothing to show for it that it would have made no difference if you all had turned to ashes." Arthur's eyes flashed dangerously and Leon's jaws tensed at the raw rub. "There's still time" Leon tried to salve his wound.

"Indeed" Arthur replied and Leon was wary of what it could mean.

Arthur felt the problem the vampires had was they spent so much time bickering over what they didn't have and who had what instead of what they did have and what they could achieve. The blood suckers were selfish even to their own demise. Their covens were divided and they were a vicious set. He didn't like the idea of them being present today and he wanted them out as soon as possible.

"We are here today to discuss the hybrid relations as we the beast kingdom move forward to put certain laws and regulations on them." he announced, his deep voice setting the tone.

"We have no business with hybrids and they do not roam our territories nor will they ever roam them" Leon was quick to put in and distance their kind from the hybrid species. He was remarkably tall with blonde hair, pale skin and high cheekbones. His eyes a mesmerizing green perfect for his victims. He was a breathtakingly beautiful man donned in fine grey suit complimented by a diamond encrusted watch and rings. To anyone he looked like a successful millionaire businessman and not an age old vampire leader. "Do whatever you must with them" he said coldly with a clear disgust staining his perfect facial features for the hybrids.

The vampires were not welcome to hybrids and there were terror stories of what happened to hybrids born to the vampires. Vampires could not give birth but those who took non vampire partners could give life. As there was life present in the other half. This had started a friction in which those who were just vampires calling themselves pure breds rioted against this. They did not want their covens to become over run with hybrids and the singular vampire strain to disappear. They were very particular when it came to tracing their line. Therefore vampire hybrids were very rare. They had no mercy on those that created them or those that were created.

The witches were different. As long as the hybrids possessed magical talents they were sometimes welcomed though they were ostracized and deemed lesser than regular witches in value and strength.

Arthur's eyes looked to Kladimir letting Leon know his moment was over and the vampire hated that. One day vampires would make these bloody werewolves remember they were their equals if not more but for now they would hold their peace.

"I think hybrids serve a purpose. If they are deemed no harm then they are welcome in our territories. Provided they abide by our rules. What you do to them on your territories is of no concern to us."

"Good I invited you here today as a warning." Arthur's eyes flashed as his voice held a chilling tone to it. "I am generous."

No, he wanted to look at his victims before he tore them to threads if they made an error. Leon Espat looked around the room uncomfortable as to where this was going.

"For what purpose?"

"Until recently it has come to my attention that a hybrid has tried to create a chaining spell for my daughter." his eyes flickered to Kladimir. " Her name is Indigo Bellatreaux and I've come to understand that she looks a lot like you Kladimir." Kladimir shook his head and shuffled backwards looking around the room. He'd been hit by a bomb. She couldn't be alive. He was sure of it.

"If anything so much as happens to my daughter there will be hell to pay. I will not only eradicate all hybrids from our territories but if I get the slightest suspicion that any of them is associated with any of you then I promise I will make sure after this war both of you will go extinct " his voice reverberated.

"You will wage war on us?" Leon questioned his fangs barely concealed.

"It won't be much of a war now will it Espat? You've been given the line now thread it carefully."

"This has nothing to do with us really. We have managed to keep our sides clean therefore our hands are clean of this and this is their ruin. The only thing I would be interested in is my son ever courting your daughter. I heard she is beautiful." his eyes twinkled greedily.

"This is the cross breeding you support?" spat Kladimir his great dislike for the Vampire king felt like it could almost choke him before turning to Arthur.

"We the witches are grateful for this gentle reminder and I assure you we have no dealings with Indigo Bellatreaux to do such a malicious thing. We would have a death wish upon our heads. Whatever you impose on her will not matter to us, make an example out of her."

He said confidently and he meant it.

The meeting soon ended with both sides well aware of what was to come and the imminent war that was brewing. Arthur entered his office to replace Vivienne sitting there waiting for him.

"How did the meeting go?"

"It's a meeting between werewolves, vampires and witches. What do you think?" he responded diplomatically.

He removed his outer suit jacket and placed it on his chair sitting down to face his sister in law.

"Did anyone die?" she asked sarcastically and Arthur leaned back relaxed. "Will we be killing the hybrids?"

"Not yet. Something isn't adding up" Arthur added and she sighed in relief but still wary as she couldn't read him.

The news was spreading like wildfire that the hybrids had the nerve to be trying to practice their witchcraft on them. To subdue them. The hybrids were afraid and holding their breath that he would give out the order to rid them all. Arthur looked at his sister in law.

"Vivienne I will only ask this once. Where is my daughter?" his voice was cold and she tried not to show how tense she was.

"I don't know where she is" she lied.

He leaned and looked at her unbelievably. His few strands of grey hair glinting impeccably under the light. A snide look over took his face and she tried not to swallow showing her her fear and anxiety.

"This is my only child Vivienne. Do you know what that means?"

It meant that there would be no excuse if he ever found out she had something to do with. He was going to make her suffer terribly.

"I understand"
