The first thing he felt was the splitting headache. Zion felt like his head had cracked open due to the amount of pain and pressure he felt. "Hey! Hey! Take it easy!"

He looked at the familiar face to see Samuel standing over him. He was in a room?

"Where the hell are we?" Zion grunted out and winced. He pulled himself up swiftly to look around.

"We're in England", Samuel swallowed with his arm outstretched, trying to get him to lay back down but he pushed him aside. " in a hotel room."

In a what? What the hell happened? He looked at Samuel questioningly before alarm started to take him over. Kiarra! No! Kiarra! The last thing he remembered was...

"You have to wait and calm down! Zion!" Samuel yelled. " You had an episode! If you don't calm down you might get another one!"

"Don't tell me to fucking calm down! I have to replace her!" he pushed Samuel away roughly.

That explains why he was under. The amount of pain he felt she was in serious harm. This wasn't the fucking time for this! He felt like shit. She was hurt and he was unconscious while moon goddess knows what happened to her.

"She's hurt. Seriously hurt Samuel! I can't be laying in a fucking bed while she's in who knows what state she is in!" he growled throwing a lamp across the room that shattered to pieces. His canines on display despite Samuel's tired efforts to calm him down. His claws had come out too. "I should have never let her left. What if-"

Zion's voice caught in his throat. He couldn't say it. For now he could still feel her, that meant she was still alive. This still didn't provide him with any consolation. He couldn't calm down. He was seeing red.

"Listen! I understand. I completely understand. I get it." Samuel was straining to get through to him. He knew if it was him he wouldn't be any different and he was upset himself." But we have to think logically here. You can't just barge in. We are regular wolves and these are lycans. What exactly are we going to do?!"

"It doesn't matter she'll see me when I arrive one way or another! If we have to burn the fucking palace down we will !"

"Or you'll be killed or thrown in some cell. You don't know what is waiting for you at the Lycan Palace! Zion you've been out for four days!"

Zion stilled at this. He couldn't replace the words as he looked at Samuel incredulously. He was wondering why he was more than starving and felt so weak but four days???? That couldn't be possible. The room was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. "What?"

"Yes you've been unconscious for four days and it was fucking scary!" Samuel pointed at him. " Now we know you've had your episodes but you have never gone unconscious for more than a day. This is serious and I thought I lost you for a minute there. Samuel was terrified. He understood that this was the worst time for this to happen especially when his mate needed him the most and he knew it didn't help when it came to adding to his brother's feeling of helplessness but he was worried about Zion's state. He wanted to go in there guns blazing too but they had to look at the situation realistically.

"It's getting worse Zion and it's worrying. What if you go completely?"

Zion didn't want to hear this right now. He just needed to replace her and then he could worry about himself. Even if it took his last breath.

"It doesn't matter what happens to me, I just need to know she's at least safe. I would give my life to make sure she's okay." Zion ran a hand across his face in frustration cursing under his breath.

Samuel was quiet for a moment before he dived in to what he had to say next.

"About making sure she's safe I called her aunt. She wasn't exactly a ray of sunshine to say the least but she insisted she was safe and well."

"I don't have time for this." Zion pulled himself to the edge of the bed.

Samuel paced watching him. He was leaving off something else.

"She also insisted we didn't call back. Her words though not exact were to not come by the palace or contact her niece again. I'm guessing she heard about what went down between the two of you. Maybe she's acting on behalf of Kiarra." "No she fucking isn't. Has she answered her phone?"

Samuel shook his head. The call had went straight to voicemail.

"Before you go you need to eat something and then we can figure something out."

"I don't need to figure out anything. I need to go over there and get her back. For all we know Vivienne isn't going to want me over there whether she is fine and well or not. Her aunt is never going to like me. I can tell that from the few times she called. I'm in a fucking wheelchair for crying out loud and a regular wolf. Of course she's probably going to be jumping for joy now that she's home. I'm not taking anybody's word for it until I see, hear and feel her my damn self." he declared.

Zion took his phone out of his pocket and dialed her number. Nothing, it went straight to voicemail and his worry surged. He breathed out heavily trying to remind himself not to smash the phone because he needed it in case she called him.

"He could have hurt her." he couldn't look at Samuel as he said his fears out loud.

He could picture him right now walking into his pack house with his eyes on Kiarra. Zion had only made it too easy for him.

"We don't know if that's true. It could be anything or anyone." Samuel was trying to not have him drown in guilt and despair but it was impossible.

"They tried to take her life." his deep voice sounded torn. " And I let her leave. What if he's in on it? She would never forgive me."

Samuel didn't know what to do. He couldn't exactly tell his brother she'd forgive him because he wasn't sure she would either.

"Zion listen to me. We will try and replace a way to her but we have to think of a way without getting ourselves killed. It would do her no good if something is wrong with her and we're dead"

His brother looked broken staring in the distance. Zion knew he was right even from the very beginning, but it was hard to tame the strength of his wolf when it came to her. All rational thought was out the window. He just wanted to hold her and never let her go. "We also have to consider the most important question. What if she doesn't want to see you?"

"She'll see me, there is no doubt about that." Zion let out.

"What if she doesn't? What if she's moved on?" Samuel insisted.

Zion's mouth tasted bitter.

"Where the hell are these questions coming from?" he levelled menacingly at Samuel. " She isn't going to move on. She will be there and she will see me."

"Zion"

"What?" Zion didn't like the look Samuel was giving him. Samuel had to drop the bomb on him. Samuel was shocked when he heard it too and he wished he didn't have to deliver such a news.

"I know her goddammit." he said in finality.

"She's having a mating ceremony!" he blurted out.

Zion's eyes widened in shock and he froze. Just those words alone made his entire world fall apart.
