Jackson arrived early that morning just in time. He'd left the two prisoners at the Cartier pack and he was all for attending the event tonight. It would give him some perspective hopefully to replace out what was going on. He had to eat, sleep and get ready for tonight. However, his more important mission had to be to replace out who was creating these werewolf spells and essentially behind this all. He needed to replace the witch and to replace the witch he unfortunately had to use another witch. All in all it was a witch hunt. So now here he was trudging through La Guarda all the way on the other side of England. The kitchen staff looked around anxiously at him when he smoothly walked through the door. Jackson didn't take the front but the side door to the restaurant. He was visiting the great Kyor. He knew Kyor knew he was already there from the moment he stepped foot on the restaurant property. He had security or rather charmed the place to be on the look out and, especially with the wolves snapping at their necks they had to be on the lookout now more than ever.

The kitchen was an extremely large state of the art kitchen built to prepare food for Kyor's luxurious clientele. La Guardia was a five-star, fine dining restaurant located in the prime uptown area where the rich and famous frequented. The unbearable heat inside the kitchen engulfed him as he walked through on the spotless reflective white tiled kitchen floors.

That's how he knew there was a witch in the place when he'd first entered the restaurant years ago. He was brought around the back and introduced to the head chef in charge. The floors in the kitchen were the first thing he noticed. They were spotless, too spotless for a kitchen in full swing and dealing with food. Of course he'd prided himself on being beyond smart enough to figure it out. It's always in the tiny details.

The scent of all the foods mixing together smelt surprisingly delicious and he headed further around the back past the workers. Kyor kept the business as a front for his real nature. He believed the front should represent what he was about and that was good witchcraft. Jackson on a whole preferred the food more than the person. He even had to admit that the food was impeccable. Kyor does his thing well.

He pushed open another set of doors to see the tall dark haired wiry lean figure walking around like he didn't know Jackson was there. The tips of his hair was dyed a neon green and he was dressed in all black. He made his way over to Jackson and placed a cinnamon roll down, pulling up a seat around the only table in the room.

Kyor didn't look up at Jackson even as he pulled out a seat and sat down sprawled out in front of him. He was used to him and his behaviour. Kyor didn't seem to be in a particularly good mood based on his deep scowl. He pushed the plate towards Jackson, finally meeting his eyes. "Try this," he instructed grimly.

Jackson picked it up without flinching as the dark beady eyes watched him intently. It looked delicious, perfectly baked with it's dark blue blueberries and cream cheese frosting. He took a huge bite out of it, tasting the delicious pastry, the flavours blending incredibly on his tongue.

"It's good." he commented.

"Dammit!" Kyor shouted pushing the plate hard from before him. He got up from the seat to fire out instructions at his staff, detailing how he wanted the cinnamon rolls to be. The staff were side glancing him cautiously knowing he was the one who had caused their boss's wrath upon them. The workers nodded fearfully at Kyor and then hurried off to make whatever corrections he deemed absolutely necessary to make his pastry immaculate. Jackson swallowed the rest in one bite dusting off his fingers. "I said it was good" said Jackson.

"Exactly the point!" he shouted angrily and the veins stood out clearly on his olive skin tone. "It should be so good it takes your breath away, you shouldn't have to pause or think about it. You should have no words for it!"

Jackson scoffed, it was just food, good food yes but at the end of the day just food. His face was hard as he stared at Kyor.

"We need to have a little talk Kyor"

Kyor's beady eyes narrowed.

"Isn't it too early to start the extermination?"

"It depends on how well the talk goes and I need a favour. Sit down."

"What do you want?" Kyor asked dubiously.

"I need your help."

"I don't feel like it." Kyor fake sighed and rolled his eyes dramatically as if it was the hardest thing he'd ever do.

"Maybe we can make a deal then." said Jackson and his beady eyes glinted.

"A deal?"

"Yeah. When the extermination begins and we start killing you all I'll make sure I leave you for last."

Kyor's black eyes flashed at him and the muscles in his jaw stood out taunt.

"If this is anything that is deemed bad you know I can't do it."

"No. I just need to know the witch that made these particular items which aren't for anything good and I'll take it from there."

"

Kyor nodded reluctantly.

Okay, but you'll have to wait until the breakfast shift is over. I have to make sure everything is perfect, then you have my undivided attention."

Jackson wanted to beat the day lights out of him but he needed his help so he had to behave. He looked at his watch and decided he was okay with it. He could now see if Kyor knew anything.

"Isn't today the Princess's who I might add is your cousin's mating ball?" Kyor asked irritatedly pointing out. He was giving him the subtle hint to go away. Kyor was like him in some ways. He was the nephew of the leader of the witches.

Jackson had expensive taste and his restaurant offered the finest so he frequented the spot. Over time he and Jackson got acquainted especially since Jackson knew who and what he was but they weren't exactly friends, just barely friendly towards each other which is exactly how Jackson would like it. You can't trust witches but he would eat their food.

"How is she?" Kyor asked abruptly without a change in his annoyed gaze.

"Why do you ask?" Jackson retorted coldly, curious to see if there was something he was missing that he didn't know that Kyor was aware of.
