The Princess’s Broken Alpha -
Chapter 86
The tall dark haired Lycan before her smiled widely as he confirmed the list of things Kiarra rattled off to him. He was clearly smitten by her. Kiarra didn't have to ask when she saw his smile fall and his complexion turn paper white as if all the blood had been drained out of him that her mate was nearby. She had felt him. When she was done telling him what to do he scrambled off fast almost running and she turned around to see Zion casually leaning against the wall, his eyes focused on her hard. He looked breathtakingly handsome in his tailored dark suit with a clean cut to his blonde hair. "Will you stop scaring my staff?"
He walked to meet her, his mouth firm with what she grew to know as annoyance.
"What the hell does he have to be smiling about so much? He's lucky I didn't remove every teeth in his mouth and make him swallow them."
Before she could protest he kissed her hard to break away with a dazzling smile that took her breath away. Kiarra narrowed her eyes at him and shook her head.
"I thought we agreed to meet fifteen minutes ago downstairs." he mentioned as they headed toward their room with his arm slung around her waist. The Lycan guards they passed held their eyes down in fear.
"Well you know how it goes when Marcus Spade starts his tantrums. How was your meeting?"
He told her it was fine and nothing more which made her suspicious. Finally glad they were in an area with no eyes so they could get a reprieve. He gently placed her against the wall putting one hand beside her head to hover over her. Kiarra was cornered by him and she looked at him questioningly.
"This is harassment your grace." she told him pointedly seeing his eyes trailing over her body and settling on her lips. A little shiver of excitement went through her.
"Unless you like to be harassed." he teased
She went on her toes to kiss him relishing in the taste of his mouth. The little meetings they had apart felt too much. She needed him with her at all times during the day. It was a growing intense feeling she couldn't shake. Needing her desperately Zion pulled back to take her hand as they headed to their bedroom. If only the damn palace wasn't so big they would have arrived already.
The moment he walked through the doors, he pinned her against the door pushing her skirt up and devouring her mouth in a hungry, passionate kiss. Zion lifted her up against the door and wrapped her legs around him.
Kiarra heard his pants drop and her anticipation peaked when she felt him tug at her underwear. Zion's fingers moved across her slit and she moaned out loud as he played with her opening. She closed her eyes in satisfaction when she felt his head penetrating her. He was plunged into her hot and hard and Kiarra cried out. He didn't give her any time to catch her breath as he started drilling her, making her insides feel like it was on fire. The door creaked under the force.
The slapping sound of sex echoed in the room and she was bouncing against him, taking in as much of him as she could, loving the way he filled her up to the brim, touching all her insides. Soon enough everything came crashing down and she squeezed him tight as he filled her. He kissed her before carrying her to the bed where he held her close. Kiarra ran her hands affectionately over his body loving the feel of him. That alone was more than enough to make him want her again.
"Zion, what did you say to my father?" she asked, studying him closely.
He ran his thumb along her lips before brushing her cheek.
"I'll tell you one day."
"One day soon?" she prodded and he nodded to her in agreement.
"Yes, one day" he reassured her.
Zion had met with her father where they had a discussion. He didn't allow her to attend the meeting saying he just wanted to talk to her father alone but there was a hint to his undertone and it made her even more nervous than before. He promised her everything was fine and she had no other option but to trust him. She could feel what he was feeling and she knew he hated her father for what he did to her. Zion wanted to kill him but she had begged him not to get into a war with him. Kiarra could forgive but Zion could never. He saw her furrowed brows and he kissed her forehead.
"I said it went fine" his voice rumbled above her.
"She buried her head against his chest and let it go. She was happy.
"Okay."
Zion sniffed her hair from her temple to her neck and she shifted because it tickled. He'd been doing that a lot lately. She could feel him smiling against her skin and she closed her eyes. They had a flight to catch tomorrow. They would be heading to their home at the Cartier pack for a well needed break.
The next day arrived and they were always glad to see their home and interact with everyone. They were going to have a small evening get together with his family and a few pack members. When they arrived at the packhouse, it was after dinner was finished and everyone was cleaning up. Interestingly enough, Jackson insisted more so harassed her on tagging along and she found it suspicious.
Zion was outside catching up with his brothers. Julie squealed loudly, her cheeks red when Kiarra entered through the door with plates in her hand and then the unthinkable happened. Her eyes fell on Jackson and Kiarra made out enough of the word mate form on her lips. Julie let out a shrilling scream, the plates shattering as she lost her footing and fell. Everyone was now looking at her and Zion and his brothers rushed inside. Julie scampered backwards as if she'd seen the devil from hell screaming no repeatedly. Jackson couldn't be her mate, she remembered vividly when he had tried to strangle her to death before the entire pack. He was as evil as they come. Jackson stood there unbothered as his eyes burned into her, flickering over her. That's exactly when he had felt it. When he had visited the first time but she didn't because she hadn't turned eighteen yet. Well, it was time. Pack members rushed around to help Julie and Kiarra told Zion she'd explain everything to him but it was clear he knew what it was from the irritated look he gave Jackson.
They headed to their house where Lisa was in full party mode bringing all the food, games and music. They were in a little catching up with a few women from the pack beside her. Zion picked up a can, kissing her hair as he passed and Lisa sighed. There was an overwhelming sound of awwws directed at him and Zion rolled his eyes.
"I wish Daniel was like that." Lisa complained frustatingly.
"Then tell him to be." Kiarra thought it simple. Looking at Daniel she could understand the struggle. He had a tendency to be selfish sometimes when it came to people and their feelings. He wasn't exactly perceptive.
Lisa shook her head in contemplation and before she could replace her a solution Zion started to mind link her to meet him on the porch. She thought he would have enjoyed more male time. She excused herself to see him waiting for her on the porch. The moment she reached outside he pulled her to him.
""Are you okay?" she squeezed out as he wrapped his arms around her, relieved to feel the warmth of her body against his.
She ran her hands across his back, rubbing back and forth. He couldn't help it and as he breathed in her scent in her hairline and Kiarra laughed when he started at her neck. His body froze then he pulled back to look at her, his face hard. Kiarra was taken aback not understanding what was happening. "Zion what's wrong?"
He looked her over, not answering her.
"Zion you're scaring me"
It seemed to have broken him out of his trance as he saw the worry in her eyes.
"I'm sorry I didn't mean to scare you."
He brought her closer holding her waist as he stared into her hazel eyes.
"I know we've talked about this but with everything that's happened I don't know if you're ready now?"
She was trying to make sense of what he was saying.
"You're pregnant."
Kiarra couldn't believe she was hearing right. She made a shocked face and he nodded. She jumped on him and they laughed as tears of joy escaped her eyes.
"What?! Of course! Yes I'm ready. Oh my gosh I'm carrying your baby!" she shouted excitedly.
Zion spun her around twice before kissing her tenderly. The happiness evident in his eyes.
"Yes you are carrying our baby."
No wonder they were extra clingy with each other. It explained everything. Together they were the happiest they had ever been and they were content.
