George sat opposite Suzy. His eyes were deep and unfathomable. He looked at her picturesque appearance and suddenly thought that if the two continued to be this way, it truly did not seem half-bad.

The two of them ate slowly. Occasionally, Suzy would tell him some legends about Cloud City and Green Cloud Mountain. Perhaps because they were in a place that Suzy was familiar with, she was talking a lot more than usual with a relaxed expression and a bright pair of eyes.

George felt unfamiliar yet infatuated with this version of Suzy.

He would only occasionally reply with one or two sentences. Most of the time, George would just earnestly listen to her stories. The food was delicious, the environment was elegant, the courtyard outside the door looked great, and the promenade had a winding path.

Although Mr. River had made things difficult for them before, George felt that it no longer mattered seeing how happy Suzy was at the moment.

After using up an entire hour to eat their lunch, Suzy was full. She asked George, "Do you have anything going on in the afternoon?"

"Why?" George asked with a smile.

"When we were on our way over, I noticed that the surrounding scenery was gorgeous. Let's go out for a stroll," said Suzy with bright eyes. George nodded at her. "Sure."

The two let Mr. Welson know before walking out the gate. They strolled along the bluestone road into the distance.

There were metasequoia and camphor trees on both sides of the stone road. They covered the sky and the sun. The secluded path was long and winding. This was not far from the city center of Cloud City, about a ten-minute drive at most. However, the trees had separated this place and the noisy city into two completely different worlds.

The two walked side by side. George was wearing off-white casual clothes, and Suzy was wearing an off-white crop top and a light blue long skirt. They looked like a stunning pair.

After walking forward for more than ten minutes, there was a forest park up front. On the edge of the park were small white villas with white windows and white railings. The cobblestone path in front of the house was surrounded by large daisies in full bloom.

The park was surrounded by maple trees, so Suzy said, "It must be incredibly beautiful here in the fall."

George raised his eyebrows and asked, "Do you like it here?"

Suzy did not tell him that the villa on the left in the second row was hers. She merely smiled and said, "It seems like a good place to retire when you're old."

Afterward, she looked at a dessert shop not far away and thought of something. "Do you feel hot?"

They were close to Green Cloud Mountain and were surrounded by trees. Although it was summer, the temperature here was at least five or six degrees lower than in the city center

Hence, it was very cool and refreshing.

George could clearly see through her little tricks and said calmly, "No."

Suzy touched her forehead and said, "I feel hot. Why don't I treat you to some juice?"

George smiled. "You can get juice, but no ice."

Suzy frowned at this. She pursed her lips and said, "I can skip the ice, but I still want ice cream."

She stretched out a finger to him. "Just one? I haven't eaten anything cold for so long."

"No!" George smiled at her. "There are only three more days now. Are you sure you want ice cream?"

Suzy was startled and quickly understood what he meant by three days. Aunt Flo was coming to visit her in three days, and the guy remembered it better than she did.

With a disappointed expression on her face, Suzy compromised. "Fine, juice it is. Sit down and wait on the chair outside. I'll go in and get some." "Mm. I'll wait for you out here. But if you secretly eat ice cream, you'll know the consequences !" George raised his hand with a soft gaze and caressed her head, but his tone was full of threats.

Suzy's face flushed red, and she turned to go into the dessert shop. She still felt sullen in her heart. Why should she be afraid of him anyway? They were staying at her grandfather's place tonight!

Several mountain bikes were parked outside the store, and there were a few women eating some snow cones and drinking juice inside. When Suzy was buying juice, she heard the women whisper as they looked out the glass window,

"That man is so handsome, and the aura around him is incredible. It's as if he came out from another dimension!"

"Are you going to ask for his phone number?" "You go!"

"No way. He looks kinda cold. I'll only be humiliating myself if he refuses!"

Those several women looked to be in their 20s, and one of the women, who was wearing suspenders and short jeans, was very beautiful. She was continuously encouraging the chubbier woman next to her to ask for George's phone number.

Suzy thought of something. Then, she walked over and said with a smile, "Are you talking about the man sitting outside? He's my uncle, and he doesn't have a girlfriend." "Really?" The eyes of the woman in the suspenders turned brighter. She was clearly interested and suggested to her friend who came with her, "Then how about all of us go together? If he refuses, at least all of us will be embarrassed together!"

The others agreed one after another. They walked out the door with excitement. They then walked straight toward George. Suzy immediately turned around and quickly said to the cashier, "Please add on ice cream

Thank you."
