The Wallflower and the Alphas
Chapter 33 "Alone with Two"

Three Days Later...

Elijah P.O.V.

I pulled to Avery's house, parked my truck, and turned off the engine. I unbuckled my seatbelt. I opened my door-

"Wait, brother!" I heard Jake say. I stopped, rolled my eyes, and forgot he was with me. I didn't want to stop, so I kept walking, but Jake said we needed to be together because we were all her mates. Well, he's not wrong. I would be angry if he tried to be with her behind me. I would be upset with my best friend. I know I would probably beat his ass.

"Well, hurry up, Jake. I want to see my mate," I told him no patience. I needed to be with her, and I couldn't stand not seeing and being close to her. My wolf and I were going nuts without her.

"Calm down, E." We will pick her up, and everything will be okay." He said with ease and calmly replied.

I growled inside my throat. We both started walking up to her door.

Avery P.O.V.

After I put the last cup away in the cupboard, I dried my hands. Then, I heard the doorbell ring. What in the world did I wonder who was there? I asked myself. So, my dad and mom asked me.

"Hey, sweetie, did you hear the doorbell?" I looked at my parents, wondering if they heard the doorbell. I went back to the sink and turned off the water. Ding dang...

I knew I heard it now. I saw my dad get off the table and walk to the door. He opened it.

"Hey, fellas" what brings you here?" he asked them. I didn't want to stand around, so I went around the corner and saw...

"Elijah!" I said, then I looked beside him, then I saw...

"Jake?" What the hell are they doing here? I thought to myself. I heard my wolf in my head. I know it was not Angelstar, but the other never told me her name. I felt that it was strange she didn't tell me her name. I heard her angelic voice inside my mind.

"Avery!" I think it's time for me to tell you who I am." By telling you my name and why I had to wait until your nineteen birthdays." She said with this beautiful soft voice. I was shocked at how her voice was so pretty. I wasn't hearing what she was saying to me now.

"Avery. Listen to me. I am your other half, and you are a veela, half-witch, and wolf." She told me in a calm voice. She sighed and kept going.

"You see, my name is Angelica. I am the other half of your wolf, witch, and you." She told me I was still shocked, wondering if I was in a dream. I told myself. But when I closed my eyes and opened them again in front of my parents and the two guys that treated me like shit in school were standing there watching me with a confused and concerned looks on their faces.

"Now go to school, and tonight you will know what's going on later," the voice that said her name was Angelica. So, I stopped and forgot what happened just a minute ago with the voice in my mind saying her name was Angelica. Then, I heard someone say something in front of me. I look and see my dad looking at me. I saw his lips moving but didn't hear him because I was in my own thoughts.

Then I was staring at my dad, but I didn't hear him speak, and I did see the concerned look on his face. So, I started paying attention to him when he was talking.

"Huh?" I said back to him, shook my head, and stared at him.

"You okay, sweetheart?" He asked me, pulled me toward him, and put his arm around my shoulders.

"I asked you if you want to make a plate of food for our company here?" I heard my dad say.

"Oh, yeah, sure," I told him and walked away, and I didn't know Jake and Elijah were staring at me the whole time. I can feel their eyes on my back and my ass. I wanted to hide somewhere and run away from their heat, and I could feel the heat coming off my back with their heated eyes. Then I walked to the counter, got on my tiptoes to open the cabinet, and grabbed three plates and cups. Then I started getting the silverware out of the drawl and placing it on the table. Then I saw my mom and dad standing by the door with the guys coming to my house.

"Avery, sweetheart, I and your father are leaving for work now." My mom said with a sweet smile, and she kissed my cheek.

"Yeah, your mom and I will go, " she said."

You know, work; he shrugged his shoulder with a smile. So, my father came over, kissed me on the cheek, and hugged me when they both left...

Once my parent left for work, I stood in the doorway, and I saw Elijah and Jake staring at me with something I had never seen in their eyes. I am not trying to be weird about it, but I felt my body burning up and getting hot when I felt their eyes on me.

"Would you -like to drink?" I asked them with a nervous voice because they made me this way. I never know what's going to happen and what they will do.

I didn't hear them say anything, so I turned around; when I did, I jumped back and gasped when both of them were close to my face by the cabinet. I am trying to show them I am not scared of them, but I know they can see it in my face.

I am nervous and afraid of these guys. My heart was beating out of my chest; that's what I feel when I can feel my chest jumping.

"OJ is fine," Jake said with a husky voice and no movement on his face; it was blank. I have never seen Jake look like that, but then I felt both moves closer toward me. I can feel the heat from their breath on my nose. I know I wanted their lips on mine. I try not to think about the two most handsome men in my kitchen looking at me like I am something to eat.

I felt the shiver down to my core. I needed to do something soon before I attacked them and did something I should not do; what bad girls do with their mouths and hands. I can't believe I am having dirty thoughts about naughty things.

I was supposed to be a good girl; good girls were not supposed to think wrong and naughty thoughts. So, I thought with a smirk.

Oh, God, I was a bad girl; then I let a giggle out of my mouth with heated cheeks.
