Chapter 1308 Savoring Every Moment

An hour later, Jenny collapsed on the bed. Looking at the man beside her, she grumbled, "It's all your fault! I haven't had dinner because of you." "Don't be angry. I'll go make your dinner now." With that, Alec climbed out of bed, put on his clothes, and went downstairs to the kitchen.

Although Jenny had scolded him, she didn't really blame him. She just felt a little embarrassed as she never expected she would someday live such an intimate life with Alec.

After staying in the room for a while, she took a shower before going to the kitchen downstairs, where Alec had begun to cook. Seeing his skilled movements, it was hard to imagine that he had just been messing around with her in bed.

"Just wait a little longer. The food is almost ready."

Fortunately, Jenny had already prepared the ingredients, making everything faster as he only needed to cook them. Jenny leaned against the kitchen doorway, watching Alec cook, thoroughly enjoying the moment.

About ten minutes later, he was done cooking and placed the food on the table, inviting Jenny to come and eat. As usual, the food tasted amazing.

"If Faust Group goes bankrupt in the future, you can start a restaurant. That way, we won't go hungry."

"Well, it would be quite difficult for Faust Group to go bankrupt," Alec said, chuckling. Saying that was him being humble. The truth was, it was almost impossible for Faust Group to go bankrupt under his control.

Jenny could see the confidence in his eyes, and she didn't replace anything wrong with it. Alec had always been confident.

"How long will you be away on your business trip?" Alec asked, sounding a little reluctant to let her go.

After taking a bite, Jenny answered, "One week."

"Well, it won't affect the wedding." Alec felt that a week wasn't too long.

Jenny nodded. "Yes, I made sure of that. If it were too long, I wouldn't go."

"Okay, how many people from your hospital are going?" Alec asked. Evidently, he was still worried.

Jenny thought for a moment before replying, "Probably one representative from each department."

"Has everything been arranged for you?" Although he technically owned Bardoff Hospital, he didn't manage the internal affairs and hadn't even inquired about it.

Jenny hadn't asked about that. "I think so. I doubt we need to worry about such things." In her opinion, Alec was worried over nothing. Surely, the hospital would take care of everything. Hearing her reply, Alec didn't ask any more questions. "Alright, take care of yourself. Call me if you need anything."

Even if she was abroad, he would rush over at the first opportunity.

"Sure, don't worry," Jenny answered. She didn't refuse Alec's goodwill.

After dinner, the two of them messed around in bed again before finally falling asleep.

The plane took off at 9 am the next morning. Alec accompanied Jenny to the airport, where she boarded the plane and disappeared from his sight. A moment later, he took out his phone and made a call. "We can start moving now."

Jenny had no idea that a huge surprise awaited her when she returned from overseas. Meanwhile, Alec had no idea that due to his mistake, the surprise would turn into a shock that almost impacted their wedding.

After the phone call, Alec left the airport. He had many things to attend to at Faust Group. There were still many things to do for the wedding, and organizing a wedding was far from being as simple as he had imagined. However, he savored every moment of it.
