Letta then gazed at Marco as he stepped closer to her.

"Let's go home now," he said, prompting Letta to get up from her seat and follow Marco's steps.

"Shouldn't we say goodbye to your parents?" Letta asked, causing Marco to pause. He then turned to look at Letta.

"If you want to bid them farewell, you can go back. They're in Dad's office," Marco said, making Letta shake her head. She certainly didn't dare to go back alone to bid farewell to her in-laws.

"Alright, then let's leave without any formalities," Marco said, heading towards the already prepared car, followed by Letta who now sat beside him. Throughout the journey, Letta chose to look out the window, as she didn't know how Marco was feeling at the moment, and she didn't want to risk making him even more upset.

Finally, Letta heard Marco's firm voice again, "Is what's outside more interesting than looking at me?" Marco asked, making Letta pause before finally looking at Marco, who now gazed ahead with his haughty expression.

"So, should I always look at you?" Letta asked, almost whispering, making Marco finally look into her eyes.

"That's better than you turning your back on me like that," Marco replied, causing Letta to adjust her sitting position and choose to look ahead. Letta simply played with her fingers on her lap. Somehow, the journey back home felt very long for Letta.

She could only let out a slow breath and regulate her heartbeat because she was sitting next to someone she felt always changed quickly. Fortunately, by continuously counting from one to a hundred in her heart, how many times, they finally arrived at Marco's residence. Marco immediately got out of the car, leaving Letta alone, as now Marco didn't need to pretend to treat Letta well anymore. Letta got out of the car and immediately met Desi, giving her a friendly smile. "Have you had dinner?" Desi asked, making Letta nod her head.

"Yes," Letta replied, while looking at Marco ascending the stairs to the second floor.

"We had dinner at Marco's parents' house earlier," Letta answered.

"If not, I've left some food for you in the back. Would you like me to bring it?" Desi asked, making Letta shake her head.

"No need, I'm full. Thank you," Letta said, feeling that Desi had been paying attention to her lately. Letta didn't mind if Desi looked at her with pity, concern, or anxiety. It was enough for Letta to know that someone was still thinking about her. Eventually, Letta decided to enter the small room she occupied, taking off the luxurious dress she had worn and changing into her usual clothes. Letta sat back on the bed, with only a few books as her companions for reading. Marco still hadn't allowed her to enter the library or any other room in the house. She would only leave her room if Marco called her or instructed her to do something.

Then, a knock was heard again at Letta's door, causing Letta to stop the movement of her hand, which had just begun to read. "Yes, come in," Letta said, making Desi walk closer once again.

"Mr. Marco is calling for you,” Desi said with a regretful expression, making Letta smile.

"It's okay, he's in a good mood right now, so nothing will happen to me," Letta said, making Desi look at her with a pitying gaze.

"You better rest, it's late. You must still be awake just to greet our return, right?" Letta said, making Desi finally choose to follow Letta's suggestion. Meanwhile, Letta, feeling anxious, began to climb the stairs with her heart pounding. Tonight, Letta didn't know what silly thoughts might be going through Marco's mind.

As Letta slowly reached out and opened Marco's bedroom door, she could see Marco taking off his suit and shirt one by one.

"Sit down," Marco said, as Letta looked at the chair in the middle of the room. Letta didn't say much and simply sat down. "Keep me company and have a drink with me," Marco said, causing Letta to widen her eyes.

"I'm not skilled in things like that," Letta replied, causing Marco to stop his movement.

"Then what are you skilled at in your life?" Marco asked with a smirk, making Letta bow her head, as Marco placed a bottle of wine with two crystal glasses in front of them.

"I don't care, but I need a drinking companion right now," Marco said again, making Letta look at Marco as he poured wine into her glass. But she could have gone to a club or met her friends, couldn't she? Letta thought, looking hesitantly at the drink.

"What are you waiting for, drink," Marco said, making Letta finally reach out and try to drink the wine in front of her in one gulp. Marco looked at Letta with a crooked smile.

"You really are innocent," Marco said, but Letta didn't hear Marco's words and instead furrowed her brow when she found the drink to be quite strong on her nose.

"You're actually better than me at drinking this, considering you gulped it down all at once," Marco said again, making Letta look at Marco, who was still playing with the wine glass, sipping it little by little while continuing to gaze at her with an expression that was hard to interpret.

"Since your glass is empty, you need to refill it, Letta," Marco said, leaving Letta no choice but to refill her glass. It turned out Letta had to drink it slowly, trying the way Marco did. Marco just smiled thinly. For a while, they were silent, each gazing at the other, with Marco continuing to look at Letta, while Letta chose to look elsewhere, unable to return Marco's gaze at the moment.

"Do you regret our meeting?" Marco asked, making Letta look at the man in front of her. Somehow her vision had started to blur, or perhaps she was getting drunk, Letta thought. Letta fell silent for a moment, trying to focus her gaze. "Do you regret meeting a man like me?" Marco asked again, making Letta nod her head without hesitation.
