Trapped I can't escape from the Billionaire -
Chapter 81
Letta gazed at Sean, who was currently helping to load his mother's belongings onto the bus, then turned to look at Meri beside her.
"If you're tired, you don't have to force yourself. Working at restaurant can be a bit challenging," said Meri, causing Letta to shake her head.
"It's okay, I can handle it. Besides, didn't I say that it's not a problem if the restaurant is covered?" Letta replied, making Meri smile while holding Letta's hand. "Thank you for helping," said Meri.
"Thank you too for accommodating me," Letta replied.
"Alright, the bus is ready to leave. I promise it won't be long, just two or three days. Take care, okay, and remember, if Sean leaves you alone, it's better to just close the restaurant, okay?" warned Meri, making Letta nod. Letta then looked at Meri, who was now boarding the bus. Meri immediately opened the bus window and looked at Sean.
"Never leave Letta to run the Chicken shop by herself. You should help her too, instead of sleeping all weekend. You understand," Meri said to Sean, who just shrugged nonchalantly.
"I'm leaving. Take care of yourself," Meri said as the bus slowly began to move.
"Take care, and take care of your health too," Letta shouted as the bus moved farther away. Letta then looked at Sean, who was staring at the departing bus in front of him.
"So, what do we do now?" Letta asked, causing Sean to look back at her and remain silent for a moment, observing Letta's face, before walking past her without saying anything.
"As usual, we'll prepare everything before the shop opens," Sean said, finally prompting Letta to nod and follow Sean's steps towards the shop, as they had previously placed all the ingredients inside. "Have you made sure the house is locked?" Letta asked.
"No need, my mother always takes care of it, so the house is definitely safe," Sean replied, not needing to bother checking his house again, as Meri would make sure of things before leaving to visit her mother. Sean and Letta finally entered the shop, seeing the scattered ingredients, not to mention the bottles of drinks and the tables that were still not neatly arranged.
"It's better if you handle the ingredients, I'll tidy up the tables and also sweep," Letta said, once again causing Sean to seemingly ignore her, prompting Letta to immediately take a broom and other utensils she could use. She began to put the bottles of drinks into a basket, then wiped the tables and cleaned the windows.
Unbeknownst to her, from behind the glass partition, Sean continued to watch her. Initially, when he first met Letta, Sean was a little puzzled as to how his mother could accept a woman she didn't know at all, even letting her stay in their house. This time, letting her open the shop with him made Sean, for some reason, feel that his mother was too compassionate towards someone they didn't even know. Sean sighed before starting to prepare the ingredients beside him. A few hours passed, everything was ready, finally prompting Sean to open his chicken restaurant. In the restaurant, there wasn't just chicken, but also other side dishes. In the area around their home, there weren't too many chicken restaurants, only other restaurants with different menus. That's why their chicken restaurant was quite popular, as Letta had experienced when helping Meri, they were really a little overwhelmed.
"Before the customers arrive, it's better if you freshen up first. We can take turns," Sean said, causing Letta's movement to halt. Letta then nodded her head.
"Alright, then," Letta replied, then walked, but her steps stopped right at the doorframe.
"Do you have a phone charger at your house? I just need to check if my phone can still be used or not," Letta said, causing Sean to fall silent. Sean paused for a moment before nodding. "Yes, near the TV, I left it there," Sean replied, prompting Letta to continue her steps.

Letta walked along the sidewalk, gazing at the setting sun. Today, the sky wasn't too bright, but it also wasn't raining, which made Letta smile. Somehow Letta liked this kind of weather, not too hot and not too cold. Until finally, Letta entered the room. Letta immediately freshened up, then took her phone that she usually placed under her pillow.
Letta didn't know if her phone was still usable or not. The screen was cracked, and turning it on might disturb its display. This made Letta finally try to bring the phone to the main room, where Sean had said that the phone charger was near the TV. Letta immediately searched for it and found it. Letta immediately plugged in her phone. Letta hoped her phone was still functional. And the next moment, her phone managed to turn on, and it was charging while being off, making Letta smile.
Letta planned to keep her phone inside the house first before finally stepping out and hurrying to the shop. Surely, Sean must have been waiting for her. True enough, after entering the shop, there was a customer already waiting, prompting Letta to hurry towards the kitchen.
"You go home first. I'll take over. Besides, it's just one customer, right?" Letta said, making Sean nod. Letta then turned to attend to the waiting customer warmly, while Sean hurried away. After the shop was opened, it wouldn't be long before customers started flooding in, and Sean didn't want Letta to be overwhelmed again. Moreover, he must have been unsure about what to do as well.
Sean hurried to freshen up, maybe within a matter of minutes. After that, he was about to return to their shop. However, his movement halted when he saw the phone with the cracked screen, making Sean think that it might be Letta's phone. For some reason, curiosity once again piqued Sean's mind. Sean walked closer to the phone, then picked it up and examined Letta's cracked phone. Sean thought, "Why is she still keeping this broken phone?" However, when Sean accidentally touched the cable, the phone was still charged. That meant the phone was still usable. Sean then immediately tried to turn on the phone. Who knew, he might be able to replace out something about Letta, as Sean was truly curious about the woman who was currently staying in his house.
