Sean finally attempted to turn on the phone. However, as he was about to tamper with it, he immediately shook his head. It was an invasion of someone else's privacy, making him consider turning off the phone. However, the phone vibrated a few times. There were several incoming messages and missed calls. Sean wasn't sure whether he should open the messages or not. Nevertheless, Sean promptly deactivated the phone and hurried back to the shop. There, Letta must have already had some customers.

Sean walked quickly and, true enough, there were two more additional customers waiting for their food. This made Sean rush to the kitchen to see Letta, who seemed a bit overwhelmed.

"Sorry, I took a little long," Sean said, making Letta nod her head.

"It's okay, I managed to serve them. But I'm not really good at frying the chicken yet," Letta said with a slightly awkward smile, making Sean step towards the fried chicken behind her. The color of the chicken looked a little browner, but for Sean, that was not an issue.

"Well, maybe it took a little longer in the frying, but it's okay. Some customers like it that way," Sean said, bringing the dishes for them to serve to their customers.

For the next few hours, even Letta and Sean had to postpone orders for delivery, as Sean was truly busy helping Letta in the shop. As the night progressed, the customers grew more and more, until Letta looked at Sean.

"See, the customers are starting to get a little better at taking some of the orders that need to be delivered. I can handle everything. Besides, you've fried a lot of chicken, so I don't have to worry if I fry it for too long, right?" Letta said, making Sean fall silent for a moment before nodding his head.

"Okay, how many orders do I need to deliver?" Sean asked, making Letta look at the notebook that was previously on the table.

"Four orders, and the distances are close as well. You'll surely be quick in delivering them," Letta said again, making Sean nod his head.

"Are you ready to pack them?" Sean asked again, making Letta nod her head.

"Yes, but be careful, you need to double the bags," Letta said, making Sean quickly grab an extra bag to carry their chicken orders.

"If I'm not back within an hour, just close the shop. Besides, it's already late," Sean said, making Letta nod. Then, Letta immediately rushed to deliver one order to a customer who was still waiting. Meanwhile, Sean delivered food to the customers who had ordered over the phone. As Sean had said, one hour later, Letta promptly closed their shop.

Letta only had to clean the tables so that she wouldn't have to bother doing it again in the morning. That way, Letta could immediately help Sean in the kitchen. Letta took some bottles of drinks, wiped the tables, swept the floor, and then sat down. When everything was done, Letta looked at the clock, which showed 11:00 PM, but Sean hadn't returned from delivering the orders. This made Letta fall silent while resting her face on the table. Apparently, Letta could feel the exhaustion of working, smiling at people, and interacting with those around her. It made Letta straighten her posture. Would she continue to do all of this? Letta wondered, until finally, the shop door opened, revealing Sean who had just returned.

"Why did it take so long?" Letta asked.

"The bike had to be taken to the workshop first," Sean replied, making Letta nod.

"So, how did everything go?" Sean asked, making Letta smile. Sean then took two cold drinks and brought them to the table where Letta was sitting. He also sat down in front of Letta. "Drink up," Sean said, making Letta finally take a sip of the beverage.

"Thank you," Letta said. They fell silent for a moment, enjoying the drinks in front of them, before Sean couldn't hold back his curiosity about Letta any longer. Sean looked at the woman in front of him who was now gazing out the window. "May I ask you something about yourself?" Sean asked, making Letta pause for a moment. Somehow, Letta could already guess that Sean might ask about her, even though he seemed uninterested. Letta knew for sure that Sean had a reason to restrain himself from asking anything about her life. But not with Sean, from the very beginning, he kept staring at her suspiciously, even scrutinizing every move she made. Even though Letta sometimes ignored it, she always knew when Sean harbored suspicion towards her.

"Yes, go ahead," Letta said, making Sean nod before taking another sip of his drink and finally looking at Letta seriously.

"I don't know the reason why my mother was willing to accommodate someone in our house whom we didn't even know. Although I don't have a problem with it, my mother's decision is unquestionable. That's why I've been holding back my curiosity these past few days. But, you know, right now there's no one to protest or scold me if I ask you. But I still want to ask politely. If you don't want to answer, you can stay silent," Sean said, making Letta nod her head. "Yes, of course. If I can answer it, I will answer your question," Letta said, making Sean finally nod his head.

"Who are you really, and how did you end up in this small town?" Sean asked, making Letta fall silent.

"As you know, my real name is indeed Letta. I didn't make it up. I-" Letta's words stopped as she squeezed her cold fingers. Letta didn't know that explaining about herself would be this difficult to someone else. After all, Letta just needed to mention that she used to live in this town and worked here. But now, of course, her tongue felt tied when she wanted to tell him about herself, making Sean wait for Letta's answer.

"What about you?" Sean asked again, making Letta raise her face.

"I lost my place to live," Letta finally answered, making Sean furrow his brows.

"Your home, your family. What about them?" Sean asked again, making Letta shake her head.

"I don't have a family, and I currently don't have a home," Letta said, making Sean somehow feel uncertain about the woman's answer in front of him.

"Friends or your previous place to stay. Who knows, I might know your previous place, so I might be able to help you get back there," Sean said. However, Letta quickly shook her head. Sean could see the fear now evident on Letta's face as she looked in his direction.
