Chapter 845

The officer nodded politely. "I see. Please follow me.”

After that, the officer brought Sean to the man who followed Molly before telling him briefly about thestalker's identity.

"He's a habitual offender, and he usually only targets single ladies. He went to prison several times formugging before he came to this area. He accidentally noticed the branded clothes that Ms. May waswearing, and he thought she looked rich. So, he tried and pushed his luck. Fortunately, he was stoppedin time."

The officer told Sean about what happened. Then, Sean nodded courteously. "Thank you so much."

"Don't mention it. It's my duty to keep the citizens safe. I'm glad that nothing bad happened to Ms. Maythis time. However, you should remind her not to go out late at night for her safety."

The office said before he left.

The mugger was sitting on a chair with his hands cuffed. He looked at Sean with a pleading gaze as heearnestly said, "I'm sorry, mister. I didn't mean to harass your wife. It's just that I haven't eaten for a fewdays, so..."

Clang.

The cell door was shut. Sean did not want to waste any time listening to him, so he left with his menright away.

Anyone who committed a crime would be punished by the law anyway. There was no reason for him tostay there.

The streetlight illuminated Sean's handsome face as soon as he got out of the police station, and thelight made his features look extra exquisite.

A gust of chilly wind blew on his face as he coldly asked, "Did she say anything after knowing who youare?"

The bodyguard came around and shook his head. "No, Boss. Ms. May was not really surprised whenshe saw US, but she didn't reject our help either. She even thanked us for saving her."

In other words, Molly was fine with Sean's men protecting her.

Sean was kind of relieved, but he was still a little worried.

He would not be completely at ease until Molly officially expressed that she had forgiven him.

Those few days were probably the toughest days he had ever gone through.

His heart felt like it was placed on a fire, getting burned bit by bit...

"Boss, I've already booked a hotel. Should we get some rest now?"

Tony said after he realized that it was getting late.

Sean lifted his wrist and looked at his luxurious watch. It was already three in the morning.

Molly was supposed to go to work at eight. Sean was worried that he might not be able to wake up ontime if he went to sleep, so he rejected Tony and said, ’ No. Let's go to her neighborhood instead."

"To her neighborhood? Boss, you're not sleeping tonight?" Tony was shocked as he asked.

Sean kept quiet. His silence answered Tony's question.

Tony held his breath and nodded. "Okay, then."

However, he could not help but complain to himself, 'Mr. Anderson doesn't even care about his healthanymore just because he wants to protect Ms. May. How could he stay awake for a whole night?

'Ms. May, you've got to forgive him as soon as possible, please!"

"And," Sean added in a low voice after he thought about something. "Find a house that's located nearerto the research laboratory. It'd be better if it's a livelier area, and the house must have goodsoundproofing. Then, get someone to send the keys to her tomorrow morning."

"Yes, Boss."

Tony took his order, but he felt very bitter inside.

Tony realized that not only was his boss not going to sleep, but he had no plans for him to rest either!

'What's going on in Ms. May's head? It's already been so many days, yet there's just no response fromher.

'She didn't reject the flowers, and she didn't mind the bodyguards protecting her either.

'So, what's really going on?'
