The sales person merely glanced at her, not saying anything.

The pills were bought easily.

Gale stuffed the pills into her pocket and hurried out.

She planned on replaceing a corner with nobody around so she couldquickly eat the pills.

When she arrived at an alley, she remembered that she forgot to buywater.

In her anxiety, she had forgotten that she needed water to swallow thepills.

“My brain...” Gale slapped her head before she hurried over to buywater.

She had just taken two steps when Susan got off a car by the road.She kept on meeting her enemies!

Gale immediately turned away, but she was too late.

“Gale!” Susan's eyes immediately saw her, “Why are you hiding? You'reso well known now!”

Gale pretended to not hear her, and continued moving forward.

Susan did not plan on letting her off, “Hey! Stand there!”

Susan Was furious. Shawn wanted to cut off ties with her, and Galewas being doted on. She had lost her place!

“Something's off,” Susan stopped in front of her, “Gale, why are yourunning away from me?”

Gale glanced at her, “Because looking at you hurts my eyes.”

“Haha, are you doing something wrong? Is that why you're avoidingme?”

Gale was surprised, but her face remained calm, “Say what you wantto. I'm busy. I'm not as free as you are.”

Susan flipped her hair, showing off the ring on her finger, “That's true.I'm very free, because I don’t need money. Did you know? Mr. Woodgave me fifteen million in cash, and even gave me houses worth tens ofmillions... I don't have to work for my whole lifetime, and I'll still havemoney to spare.”

“Oh.”

“What's with your attitude?!”

“There's nothing about it,” Gale shrugged, “Just keep that ring on. Don'tever take it off. You just love showing it off, don't you? Make sure youbring it to your grave!”

Once the new headphones were there, she would be able to hear thesecrets she wanted to know!

Susan held her head high, “Humph, what are you? Other than beingMrs. Wood, you have nothing!”

“And Mrs. Wood is something you'll never be!”

“Don’t be so pleased with yourself!” Susan said, “I came to see Mr.Wood today. As long as I admit my mistakes and apologize, he'll forgiveme!”

Gale said, “Oh.”

She just wanted to quickly swallow those pills.

The longer the pills were in her body, the more effective they would be!If Shawn knew she was secretly eating a morning — after pill...

He would be furious!

Gale waved it off in frustration, “Make way. Stop blocking my way.” 1Susan clicked her tongue, “You won't be so happy for long!"

She felt like the fact that Shawn was willing to give her money, housesand a car meant that Shawn still cared about her. He had just beentemporarily ensnared by that fox, Gale.

Otherwise, Shawn would have taken the wedding ring back.

Gale pushed Susan aside. Right as she was about to continue walking,a boy on a bicycle was heading towards

her.

The boy had probably just learnt how to ride a bike, and he swayedunsteadily.

When he saw that Gale was walking towards him, the boy panickedand slammed the brakes.

The bicycle screeched and fell.

As it fell, it hit Gale's bag, sending it flying.

Bang!

The bicycle fell, and the contents of the bag scattered.

The boy fell on the ground and started to cry.

Everything had happened to quickly, and Gale did not

have the time to react.

She wanted to help the boy up and console him, but the pills were inher bag!

Crap!

She could not afford to bother with anything else as she scrambled tokneel on the ground and keep her things. She wanted to immediatelystuff the pills into her bag.
