"The boy is still asleep, so you can't see him now," Xavier rejected Tristan's request coldly.

The latter hadn't expected him to be that cold and said, "Xav, I've already visited twice. Can't you let me see him for once? I promise I won't disturb his sleep." "No."

Tristan couldn't believe how much Xavier was pampering his child, so much so that no one was allowed to see him. Since he'd failed to see Noah again, he was upset. "Fine. I'm going to the washroom." Since Xavier wouldn't let him see Noah, he decided to sneak a peek by himself.

Yvette was taking a walk in the garden outside with Kiki. Kiki didn't mention the news because she was worried Yvette might be upset. So, she decided to talk about what had happened recently. Yvette knew what Kiki was worried about and promised her that she wouldn't let herself feel aggrieved again. Hearing that, Kiki finally felt like she could relax.

"If anything is troubling you, you have to let me know. Just to keep it to yourself."

Yvette nodded. "Yeah, got it." She asked Kiki, "How's life with the Shaw family?"

When Kiki thought about the Shaws now, she wasn't as upset as she'd once been before. "Other than Tristan, I think everything else is great. At least, it's better than living with my own family.

"Mr. Shaw Senior is a great man, and I'm enjoying myself every day. He even encouraged me to become a lawyer again."

Upon mentioning Archibald, Kiki suddenly remembered something else. "By the way, Yvvy, Mr. Shaw Senior knows that Zac isn't Tristan's son. However, he said it was fine as long as Zac was my son. He really does treat me like his own granddaughter." When Yvette heard that, she really felt happy for Kiki.

The latter continued, "You have no idea how much Mr. Shaw Senior likes Zac. Tristan wanted Zac to come with us today, but he wouldn't allow it at all. He wanted Zac to stay with him. I guess Zac is really popular among the elderly."

Yvette had only heard about how Archibald liked Zachary and hadn't seen it for herself. So, she didn't mind it at all.

While they were chatting, they suddenly heard a young voice. "Mom."

Yvette thought she was hearing things until she saw Noah had come out from his room.

"Mom, I really didn't come out on my own. It was all that man's fault." Noah's face was red from anger.

Yvette and Kiki were confused, and they hurriedly entered the house again. Then, they saw Tristan holding Noah's jacket in shock.

"That's the guy, Mom. He even pulled my jacket away," Noah complained.

Tristan looked stunned. "Mom? He's your son?"

Yvette immediately stood in front of Noah. Meanwhile, Xavier pinched his eyebrows on the couch. "Didn't you say you were going to the washroom, Tris?"

He hadn't expected Tristan to be bold enough to look for Noah alone just because he was blind.

"Well, would you believe me if I said I got lost?" Tristan felt awkward. However, he was shocked about Noah.

He hurriedly turned around and asked Kiki, "Don't you think this kid looks a lot like our dear Zac?"

Kiki really wanted to slap him back to his senses. After all, Noah and Zachary didn't just look alike. They were twins!

"I guess so," she awkwardly answered.

Tristan was just stunned, but he was

still thinking straight. "Xav, I'm leaving the gifts behind. There's something else I need to attend to, so be taking my leave first"

He didn't care if Kiki wanted to leave at all. Instead, he left Noah's jacket behind and dragged her out. Upon arriving outside, he returned to his serious self and looked closely at Kiki

"Talk. What's going on?"

After all, there was no way two women would give birth to two identical-looking children.

"I've already told you that Zachary isn't yours, but you wouldn't believe me at all." She explained while fiddling with her fingers, "I borrowed him from Yvvy so that I could turn my dates away."

Tristan's face fell. After all this time, it turned out that Zachary really wasn't his son at all.
