Tiffany was stunned; she hadn't expected that Vincent would ask her that. She nodded honestly and answered, "Yes."

"Do I not pay you enough?" He sounded a little harsh.

"No... Tiffany wouldn't dare to say that her salary wasn't enough. In fact, if Eric had paid for the dinner that night, she wouldn't have been so broke and had to work part-time.

But, she didn't want to share about the complicated matters and her family's affairs.

Vincent looked at her and his voice was still very deep. I'm giving you a chance to explain."

Tiffany filtered her words. "I just moved out of my sister's place and have no money left. Plus, I still owe you 500 dollars, and there half a month until the next payday. That's why 1-*

"What did I say when I lent you the money last time?"

Tiffany looked confused.

Vincent was annoyed but amused at the same time when he saw her innocent eyes. "You've forgotten it?"

Tiffany shook her head. "I didn't...."

That time, Vincent had told her that she could ask him for more money if it wasn't enough. But she had only treated it as kind words. She'd had no idea that he was being serious "Are you still willing to lend me money? Tiffany asked in disbelief.

Without saying a word, Vincent took out his phone and transferred 2000 dollars to her. He then asked her, "Is it enough?"

Tiffany was dumbfounded when she saw the 2000 dollars. She didn't dare to take it.

Vincent said, "You can consider this as me lending you money or giving you your salary in advance. The job here is not suitable for you. Don't come again." Tears filled Tiffany's eyes. "Thank you, Mr. Lewis.

"Do you really want to thank me?" Vincent asked seriously

Tiffany blinked, confused about what he meant.

"Can you drive?"

"Yes."

Vincent passed her the car key. "Alex isn't here today, and I've had a few drinks, so I can't drive. I need you to drive me back."

Tiffany was very grateful to him now, so she definitely wouldn't turn down such a small favor. She took the car key with both hands and caught up with him.

While waiting for the elevator, Vincent took a look at her and asked, "Are you going to leave in that?" Tiffany looked down and realized that she was still wearing the uniform of the nightclub. She said with embarrassment, "I'll go get changed. "Alright." Vincent didn't say much. He was always so gentle,

Tiffany returned to the changing room to get changed. She then texted Elis, telling her that she could not

do this job and that she would go back first. She also expressed her gratitude toward her.

Elis only replied with a single word: "Okay."

Tiffany returned to the corridor and saw that Vincent had not gone out first. He was waiting for her there.

"Mr. Lewis." Vincent only pressed the button on the elevator when Tiffany walked over. He naturally glanced past Tiffany and said, "You look best in your own clothes."

Tiffany could feel her face becoming hot. "I also feel comfortable in my own clothes."

The elevator had reached the floor they were on.

Vincent went in first, and Tiffany followed behind. After descending two to three floors, the elevator door opened. A man and a woman rushed into the elevator, hugging and kissing each other. They were so engrossed in their kissing that it was as if there were no other people in the elevator.
