Vincent saw how quickly Tiffany had turned red, and he felt strangely happy.

He could smell the slight scent of soap on her, and the lovely time they'd had on that camping trip flashed through his mind. His emotions intensified, and his body reacted accordingly. Vincent looked away, trying to distract himself, but all he could think of was how alluring she had been that night. He could not stop his thoughts from wandering.

As the elevator was fully packed, people began getting off, and eventually a space began to clear. Finally, Vincent's voice rang out. "We're here."

Tiffany jolted back to her senses and followed him out of the elevator.

...

Anna was surprised but delighted to see Tiffany. She smiled kindly and pulled her down into a seat. "It's you, Tiff!"

"I heard that you were feeling unwell, so I came to visit you, Mrs. Lewis Senior." Tiffany put down the fruits and soup that she had brought. "Have you had breakfast? I brought you some soup." "Really? I just so happened to be hungry right now."

Tiffany took out the soup and opened the lid of the container. A delicious aroma wafted into the air.

"It smells delicious." Anna couldn't wait to try it. She took two spoonfuls, and her eyes lit up. "Mm! It tastes great!"

"I bought this from a restaurant near our college. Apparently, they've been open for decades, and they've always been very popular. The restaurant is famous for its soup, and I get it whenever I'm sick. It always improves my appetite, so I brought some for you too." "That's so thoughtful of you." Anna looked very pleased. "Although this soup is very tasty, it's still not as good as the soup that Teresa made."

Tiffany smiled and said, "Teresa has always been a good cook. If you like it, I'll ask her to make some for you."

"Really? That would be great. I've had a lot of good food in my life, but now that I'm getting older, I'm getting partial to simple dishes. Teresa's cooking suits me very well."

Tiffany did not want to spoil Anna's

mood, so she said, "She's got quite a

lot of free time now, so I'll call her later and ask if she can make you some appetizers. I'll bring them for you tonight, shall I?"

"Alright!" Anna accepted the offer happily. She was instantly excited. "If that's the case, I'm not going to eat dinner. I'm going to wait to eat some good food." "Alright."

"Will it trouble you?" Vincent asked as he stood beside them.

"Not at all. I'll have to ask Teresa if she has the time, though."

"That's fine. After you've asked, just let Vincent know. It's alright if she doesn't have time. I'll just replace something to eat for dinner." Anna looked as happy as a child.

She kept eating as she talked, and before long, Anna had finished the bowl of soup. However, she looked as if she wasn't fully satiated. She was looking forward to dinner. After she had eaten, Anna chatted with Tiffany for quite a while. Vincent sat beside them, looking through some documents. The scene looked oddly harmonious.

Anna was not a difficult person to

please, but she could not be won over by just anyone. Vincent was listening closely, and although

Tiffany wasn't actively trying to net

ingratiate Anna, she could make

Anna laugh out loud without even trying very hard.

This was unusual.

At that moment, the door to the hospital room opened. Kelly walked in, carrying breakfast. She was wearing a skirt suit. "Mrs. Lewis Senior Mr. Lewis..." Her smile. stiffened when she saw Tiffany.

hovel

"Tiffany?" Kelly closed the door and walked in, putting her smile back in place. "What are you doing here?"
