When She Stops Playing Nice by Hale Saxon -
Chapter 366
Chapter 366
As soon as Nancy posted on Twitter, a crowd of curious netizens quickly gathered below her post.
“Victim? Then why didn’t you call the police
“Who would believe you? Is this another stunt with a rich guy? Aren’t you known for getting famous through controversy! Seems like this time you’re done for!”
“Last time it was Mr. Jackson, and now it’s a shareholder’s son from the Jackson Group. Do you have a vendetta against the Jackson Group?”
In the comments section, no one believed that Nancy was a victim.
Unable to stop Nancy from posting on Twitter, her manager was furning “Did I tell you to post on Twitter! Look, does anyone believe you? It would have been better to ignore it. Did you post just to give people a chance to criticize you?”
“Why are you still standing here? Let’s go back to the company! The manager grabbed Nancy’s arm, but Nancy shook her hand off, mumbling to herself, “No one believes me… But what if I bring in a witness who saw me almost being assaulted!”
“A witness? There was someone else in the restroom yesterday? The manager was confused. Why hadn’t Nancy mentioned
this earlier?
Because this witness was special. It was Gabriel. The paparazzi had been sensible enough to take pictures of Gabriel but not release them, given the previous incident. Nancy hadn’t dared to provoke Gabriel.
But now, with her acting career on the line, Nancy had no choice but to go to the Jackson Group and replace Gabriel.
Just as she made up her mind, she spotted Gabriel and Gina.
Nancy was almost overjoyed. It felt like luck was on her side. Now, she didn’t have to worry about being turned away by Gabriel at the Jackson Group. She could confront him directly.
Ignoring everything else, Nancy ran towards Gabriel and Gina, blocking their way.
Both Gabriel and Gina looked puzzled at the woman in front of them, who was wearing a mask and sunglasses, covering her face completely,
Just as they were about to walk around her, Nancy spoke up. “Mr. Jackson, Miss Miller, it’s me! She hurriedly took off her sunglasses and mask.
Then, she suddenly shook their hands. This inexplicable act left Gabriel and Gina stunned.
Gabriel’s tone turned icy. “Miss Steele, what are you trying to pull this time? Don’t test my patience, understand?”
If he really decided to blacklist Nancy, she would never have a chance to rise again. Last time, Cina chose not to pursue the matter further to avoid giving Nancy more attention, so Gabriel let it go. But Nancy seemed to be pushing her luck.
Nancy apologized, “Mr. Jackson, Miss Miller, I’m truly sorry for what happened before. Last time. I was too desperate for fame and acted disgracefully. I beg for your forgiveness. Please forgive me!”
In the bustling airport hall, Nancy’s loud voice inevitably attracted attention. Claiming this wasn’t a publicity stunt was hard for even Gina to believe.
“Sorry, we’re in a hurry.” Cina said.
Nancy tried to block their way. “No, please, Miss Miller and Mr. Jackson. I have truly realized my mistake
Gina scoffed softly. “Whatever. We’re leaving
Nancy was stunned.
She hurriedly caught up. “Please wait. Mr. Jackson, Miss Miller, tell me what I need to do for you to forgive me for what

happened before.”
Gina smirked. “Do you really care if we forgive you? Or is it that you need something from us? Miss Steele, just say what you want. Don’t waste our time.”
Neither Gina nor Gabriel had paid attention to the trending topics. Given Nancy’s past antics to gain notoriety, it was hard to believe she realized her fault and genuinely cared about being forgiven.
Nancy realized Gina saw through her and was embarrassed. She worried that if she directly asked Gabriel for help, he turn her away. So, she started with an apology, hoping they’d see her sincerity.
Nancy took a deep breath and said, “Mr. Jackson, I need you to be a witness!”
Gabriel recalled what he’d seen in the restroom the previous day and understood why Nancy approached him.

Nancy continued, “Mr. Jackson, you saw what happened in the restroom. I was being forced. If you speak up, it will prove I was. the victim, that I’m not… what they’re calling me.”
Gabriel’s face remained cold. “Why should I help you?”
Hearing this, Nancy felt a sinking despair. “Mr. Jackson, I know I offended you last time, but this time I am truly innocent. I believe you are an upright person and will help me, right? Besides, didn’t you already teach Shane a lesson for me?”
She glanced at Gina, trying to clarify, “Miss Miller, don’t misunderstand. Mr. Jackson helped out of righteousness, and I am very grateful.”
Gina chuckled at Nancy’s unnecessary explanation. Regardless of Gabriel’s reasons, if he helped Nancy in the bathroom, Gina would see it as an act of his inherent kindness and nothing else.
“You don’t need to explain. I won’t overthink it, Gina replied with a smile.
Gabriel continued, “Nancy, you’re overthinking it. I was leaving the restroom, and Shane happened to be in my way.”
It had been a simple act of opening a door, not specifically an attempt to help Nancy.
‘Mr. Jackson, I beg you. Miss Miller, I know you’re kind–hearted. Please persuade Mr. Jackson to help me. He loves you so much. He will definitely listen to you!” Nancy begged.
Gina responded coldly, “Miss Steele, when you were benefiting from your controversial fame, you probably didn’t foresee this day, did you?”
She continued, “You reap what you sow. If you hadn’t used us for your previous scandal, helping to clear your name now would be no big deal. But because of your past actions, we have doubts about your relationship with Shane. Besides, we prefer not to get involved in the entertainment industry’s drama. So please, don’t bother us.”
Gina then took Gabriel’s hand, ready to leave.
Still unwilling to give up, Nancy tried to follow them. She didn’t dare grab Gabriel but cried out, “Mr. Jackson, Mr. Jackson! Please, help me!”
