Chapter 75

It’s been a month since Aria moved in with Frank and it has been one hell of adventure for the both of them.

Living together has been more than she expected. Having to make little adjustment in order to fit into each other schedules was something she found rather exciting. She never thought a man as difficult as Frank Okoji would worry over the slightest of things when it comes to her and the baby.

Always ready to call her doctor over the slightest of discomfort.

Frank has been really helpful around the house. He makes it a point to be dropping her off at her work place even though she kept insisting she can still drive her own car to work without him doing it all the time.

All her protest fell on deaf ears because not only has he been dropping her off, he also keep tabs on her during lunch hours while making sure she doesn’t miss a day of her supplement.

Everything was moving just smoothly_. Just like in the movies but this was reality and in reality?_ nothing is ever perfect. In fact, ideas and likes will always be a contradicting force, even between the most loving of couples just like in the case of Aria and her fiancé.

The fact that there are expecting their first child together is enough to have them frowning at each other absurd ideas more than often especially when it’s coming from Frank.

Aria has everything in a platter of gold.

Not that she was complaining or anything but she couldn’t help but feel extremely overwhelmed _why wouldn’t she be when Frank was being too possessive and over protective of her. She can’t even go out of the house without Larry trailing her like a loyal bodyguard.

Frank on the other hand couldn’t help but replace her objections very ridiculous and absurd. He was simply doing his best to take care of her while he is being accused of being paranoia about something bad happening to the two most important part of his life.

Even the doctor had assured him that everything was fine and the baby was growing up just as healthy.

Frank had canceled his meeting that morning just so he can take her for her antenatal appointment even though she assured him she will be fine with Larry of course.

Frank couldn’t miss a day like that for anything in the world. He wanted to be there for her every step of the way without anything getting in his way. And that include the board members meeting.

He would have done same in the case of Daniel if only he wasn’t deprived of that privilege by his crazy a*s ex who took it upon herself to keep her pregnancy a secret from him.

And now, everything is different and he would gladly live through the experience of fatherhood without breaking a single sweat.

Aria looked up with twinkling eyes and a smile, bright enough to light up her entire day as she watched the glittering rainbow bubble fly right across the room before it burst with a splash.

She has been at it for a while now_ regardless of the time wastage. All she needed was a quick shower and not engage in a childish play of blowing liquid soap just to create bubbles.

She was so lost in her childish activities that she forgot all about her fiancée_that was busy tapping his feet impatiently against the floor in the next room while glancing at the direction of the bathroom.

Back at her house, she could spend hours indulging in that very thing without interruption.

Maybe she has forgotten! she no longer live by herself and in her apartment.

Another minute went by before the door of their bathroom crack open, followed by Frank’s head peeping through in search of her. He decided to walked through after he found her blowing out bubbles from her palm without realizing he was even watching her.

Shaking his head in total disbelief after realizing what she was doing. He continued to watch her still. Frank was fascinated by the naked woman playing with bubbles before him.

Aria might be thirty but she was still a child and pregnancy hasn’t changed her one bit. She was still as childish as ever and he wouldn’t have it any other way but he would rather have her getting ready by now and not wasting more time.

Clearing his throat and making his presence known, He spoke atlas.

“Don’t you think you’re too old for this sort of fun?”

Her head snapped back to look at her fiancé with a cheeky grin.

“Uhm, hello? i didnt see you over there” she began to chuckle but stopped right when she saw his raised brow.

“I was just rinsing off some excess soup from my hands” she lied and quickly washed off her palm before pouring more water to rinse herself off.

Frank only stared at her while trying his best to keep up a straight face without bursting out with laughter at how lame her excuse sound just to get her to hurry up.

When he was sure, she was really going to get out of the bathtub, he turned around and began to walk away.

“Please hurry up or you will be late for your doctor’s appointment” he so reminded her before existing the same way he came in.

“I will be right out” she called back with a chuckle.

Frank must be pissed! She thought as she reached for a towel to wrap around herself before stepping out the bathtub_still dripping wet.

By the time she reappeared in the bedroom. Frank was already dressed and fidgeting with the collar of his navy blue plaid shirt without sparing a single glance at her direction.

Frank must be really pissed! She concluded with a huff.

Twenty five more minutes and she was all ready. Dressed in a knee length flowing yellow gown and paired with ankle sandals. Her hair was up in a bun with its tips rolled into a doughnut shape, seating on the middle of her head.

She decided to up her makeup a bit with matching eye shadows with her lips in perfect red. She looked stunning with her protruding stomach when she appeared by the door way before taking careful steps towards where Frank stood beside the car.

Frank even gave her a nod of approval at her elegant appearance before reaching out a hand to assist her into the passenger seat.
