300 Days With The Alpha Beta Triplets
PUT TO DEATH

THIRD PERSON POV:

"Let me out of this place right now!" Bella demanded, banging on the iron bars, but no one let her out.

The triplets feared the Alpha's fate, but the rules were clear. There should be no interference.

"I command you as the princess!" When William heard this, a smile crept across his lips as he circled the weak Alpha King.

"If permitted, I will end this once and for all!" he roared, raising his hand to slash Herald, but then he realized his hand couldn't come down.

"Stop!" Hazel yelled, and Bella looked up at the spectator stand to see Hazel standing close to Scarlet.

"Hazel, and she has Scarlet," Bella said, feeling an immediate calm in her chest.

Scarlet had her hands outstretched, holding up William's hand. Then Hazel made her way down to the arena, but she didn't step into the circle.

The crowd murmured.

"Silence, and listen to her!" Scarlet yelled from where she stood, causing the entire arena to fall silent.

Hazel took a deep breath.

"I have come to let you people know that this match wasn't a fair one, and the Beta confronted a group of vampires who practice dark magic to help him. He is working with them to kill Princess Bella, and in exchange, they have offered to give him the throne!"

The crowd gasped when she said this.

"Nonsense," the Beta interjected, and Scarlet cast a spell on him, causing his lips to become locked.

"Continue," she said to Hazel.

"Scarlet was kidnapped by the vampires about a month ago, and they have gone about making pacts with the pack members, including the Alpha. They wanted him to hand Princess Bella over so they could kill her. The vampires are scared of the prophecy coming to life, and they know we have a chance of winning. Also, Bella did not kill Bonnie- Sebastian did."

They all gasped at the last statement. The Beta was shocked too, and a part of him tried to believe it wasn't true, but since they were speaking the truth about his sins, he knew his son's hands weren't clean.

"And why should we believe you? You are not even from this pack!" someone in the crowd yelled, and suddenly there was a rumble in the sky.

The clouds joined together, and the sky became foggy. Everyone watched as Scarlet put up a representation of what happened on the day Bonnie died. Bella was too heartbroken to watch, so she buried her head in Ryder's chest while he patted her back to console her.

When the show was over, even the Beta felt terrible. Bonnie's parents had been his friends too, and he couldn't believe he had been a puppet in his own son's scheme.

"As for the Beta, I am sure he doesn't want me to reveal his secrets," Scarlet said, boring her eyes into William, whose hand still hung in the air.

Hazel rushed to Herald, who was still trying to regain his strength. She took out a potion Scarlet had prepared beforehand and tipped it into his mouth. The scars on his body closed at once, and slowly, he began to regain his strength.

"Bella, your dad is fine," Finn said to her, causing her to pull away from Ryder's body with her tear-stained eyes. She felt guilty once more and wondered how different life would be if she hadn't been born a hybrid. Her father wouldn't have had to go through this duel, and he would be fine.

Herald stood on his fours in no time, and he stared at William with fury blazing in his eyes. William had cheated his way and brought him dishonor in front of his people. Worse, he had betrayed him.

"With that being said, this match is canceled, and the victory has been stripped from the Beta as he isn't worthy of it." A smile formed on Scarlet's face as she let his hand go.

Soon, guards rushed toward the circle with two robes, covering both the Alpha and Beta as they changed back into human form. They covered up quickly, and the Alpha faced his people. William, knowing that the wages of his actions were death, stared at the Alpha for mercy, but Herald didn't have even the slightest pity for him.

"If the princess is a hybrid, isn't that against the laws of Moon fire in general? She didn't kill anyone, but she cannot stay in this pack," someone said, and Herald heard it.

"I make the rules, and I say that she stays!" Herald growled, causing the murmur that threatened to rise to die down at once.

Hazel glanced at Scarlet, who nodded her head, and then Hazel shut her eyes, connecting her mind to that of every pack member in the Rune Pack, wiping away the memory of Bella being a hybrid. It affected the triplets and Bella, so she planned to undo it later.

Alpha Herald turned to William, who fell to his knees at once, but Herald paid no attention to him. Rather, he turned to the crowd.

"What do we do to people who commit treason and cheat their way to dethrone the Alpha King?" Herald asked, and the crowd wasted no time.

"Burn him alive! Burn him alive!" they chanted as Herald held his gaze on William.

He walked up to William.

"This is to show you that the people who you think care about you do not. Family is the only thing that matters. Can you see how quick they are to run you under?" William nodded, and Herald scoffed.

"Please, Herald. I didn't mean to, I..."

"You were power hungry, and you will get exactly what you deserve," he said to William, then he turned to the crowd. "He is yours. Do unto him as the law says!"

They chanted in victory, and some of them jumped down into the circle, rushing toward William to grab him. Bella and the twins watched, horrified at the scene, because in no time, William's body went up in flames...
