Third person pov:

For about three days, Bella had been checking her phone each morning, waiting for Sebastian and Fae to strike on the blog, but nothing happened.

"Why are you smiling so hard at six in the morning?" Hazel questioned, opening her eyes to see Bella on her bed with the widest smile on her face.

"Because I am finally free," Bella said, and Hazel raised a brow. "The blog hasn't said a thing about me in days, and it's either the moon goddess silenced them or Fae is dead." She sunk in a bit. "I really wish the latter would happen." Hazel chuckled lightly. "I wonder what could have happened," she said, pushing herself out of bed.

The entire morning, Bella sang in a jolly tone while getting dressed, which made Hazel happy, and she gave herself a secret pat for making her best friend happy. No one would know as long as she kept the other news on the blog rolling.

A knock came on their door after they had dressed up, and Bella opened it to see Kai.

"Hey," he said, kissing her lips briefly before walking into the room.

Hazel, who had seen them, called out to Bella. "Can you compel me to forget the need to love, so none of these bothers me?" she questioned, and they both chuckled. "Seriously."

"I'm sorry, I won't do that," Bella said with a straight face, trying to sound serious.

Kai grabbed her hand. "I was thinking of an outing this weekend."

"That's what I would like to hear," Hazel said, and Kai raised a brow at her.

"Only Bella and I." Bella looked at him, sensing it was because of the events on the blog and the dare.

"This is about the dare, isn't it?" she asked, and he hesitated. "Kai, I do not love any of you less, and that was wrong. I love you as much as the others, and I wouldn't want you to keep trying to impress me."

"I want us to do something fun and nice alone to wind up from the stress of the entire week," he said, and she sighed. "Besides, Ryder and Finn are going to see a football game on the weekend, so?"

"Okay, then," she agreed.

Almost everyone wasn't bothered by the absence of Bella's news, but Fae certainly wasn't one of them. The way Bella checked her phone every morning for her doom story was the way Fae checked hers, too.

"Is it weird to you that my posts about Bella haven't shown up on the blog for three days?" she said to Sebastian as they walked into the school building, spotting Bella. "Where did you say you got that witch that helped with your condition again?"

"Last time I got beat, and I wouldn't want to speak about Bella on school premises. Those three might be lurking somewhere," he said, and she rolled her eyes.

From where she stood by her locker, Fae couldn't take her eyes off Bella, who was pressed against a locker by Finn, locking lips with him in school. Then a thought crossed her mind.

As though the universe were working hand in hand with her, Evelyn walked into the hallway, causing Finn to pull away from Bella before they could be spotted.

Fae ran after Evelyn.

"Excuse me, Principal Evelyn," she called out in the most charming tone, causing Evelyn to pause with a straight face. She hated Fae with every fiber of her being because of what she did to her daughter, but she had to maintain decorum.

"May I speak with you for a moment? I have something bothering me in school," Fae said, and Evelyn feigned a smile. "Let's go to my office," she replied, and Fae walked away with her, glancing at Bella, who scoffed.

The triplets who were gathered around Bella tried to cheer her up, but she was dying to hear what Fae had to say to her mum. Fae, on the other hand, kept busy with Evelyn, going around in circles. After a while, she got up to leave.

"Thank you, Principal Evelyn, because now I know how to read my books to get my grades back on track," she said, and Evelyn forced a smile. But as soon as Fae reached the door, Evelyn rolled her eyes with a sigh, then turned around again.

"What is the penalty for someone who has their nudes leaked in school, but they weren't taken on school property?" she asked, and Evelyn cleared her throat, sitting upright.

"The person could be in serious trouble. Suspension for two weeks," she tried to sound professional. "Are you in possession of anything of such?" she asked, hoping to get whatever she had on Bella, and Fae shook her head.

"I would never do that, ma'am," she said, and Evelyn hardened her expression.

"Then why do you ask?"

"Nothing, never mind," she said and then opened the door and left.

Bella, who wanted to eavesdrop, met Fae leaving.

"Hey, Bella," Fae said, and Bella hissed as Fae made her way out with a smile planted on her lips.

After school, Hazel stayed behind to study while Bella returned to the dorm. She met Ryder on the way, and they both thought it wise to use the room while Hazel was away.

The moment their lips met on Bella's bed, Hazel turned the knob of the door, causing them to jump to their feet in panic as Hazel drew open the door.

As soon as their gazes met, Hazel took one look at their messy uniforms, which were halfway ready to be flung, and she groaned.

"Why does no one ever remember to lock the doors!"

She sighed, making her way to her bed. Then she grabbed her earpiece. "You can continue. I am going for a walk outside school," she said and then left.

Bella and Ryder carried on at once, while Hazel plugged in her earpiece, playing some songs as she made her way out of school.

She hadn't walked too far from school when the screeching of tires attacked the air. A car raised a hale of dust in front of her, and next thing she knew, her eyes were shut, and she was bundled up.
