Third person pov:

"Sebastian!" Nyx blew hot. "You want me to wipe the memory of a Baudelaire witch? Do you know what I saw in there? A lineage of witches guarding her soul, waiting for devour me. Isn't this a bit far for a stupid childish game?" Nyx questioned, and Sebastian rubbed the back of his head looking Fae.

A part of her was still in awe at their stupidity. "Do you know what you just asked me to do? Wipe the memory of a descendant of the most powerful witches in Moon fire. Did you bother checking her last name?"

She turned to Fae who shrugged.

"What's my business with a nerd?"

"The fact her brain might stem from her nature." Nyx said, and Fae patted her hand on her mouth with a yawn. "Sebastian, you warn your friend!" Nyx gritted her teeth, and Sebastian grabbed Nyx.

"So what do we do now?" He questioned and Nyx shook her head.

"I'm sorry I cannot help you." She said, and she tried to make her way out of the room, then Sebastian reached for her again.

"Nyx, come on, you can't say that. You always have the answers to everything and this is the kind of thing Nyx does, and Nyx is never afraid," he said, and she paused for a moment.

Although she loved the praise, she didn't want to do something that would put her own life in danger, too.

"Fine, there is something you can do."

When she said this, Fae, who had been thinking of her next line of action, paused the activities in her brain. "I'm only doing it because of you, and not that ungrateful brat!"

Fae, who couldn't care less, only rolled her eyes.

"I can narrow down what you want her to do. Make her want to do something to this person, and she will be immune to the compulsion of this person," Nyx said and Sebastian grabbed her towards him in a bid to pull her into a hug,

then she stung his shoulder with a tiny bolt from her finger, causing him to pull away, shrieking.

"As I was saying before you interrupted me," Nyx crossed her arms to her chest. "I'll need to do a ritual, so write down the things you want her to do to this person with her full name. Now untie her!" she said to them, and they nodded.

Nyx opened up her sling bag, taking out a chalk, and her spell book. She began to draw on the floor, making lines for the spell, and as soon as she was done, she lifted Hazel from the sit, placing her in the center of the circle.

"You may leave the room now," she said to the both of them, and they obeyed her at once.

The moment they got outside the room, Sebastian sighed deeply. A part of him wondered if all this was worth it. He could have forfeited Bella easily as she already took the fall for what he did, but he was foolish to trust Fae, and he couldn't help but blame it on his parents.

"Stormclaw's daughter is such a charm." His mother's voice echoed in his mind.

Of course, she was-a deadly charm at that-and he was already exhausted, but he had gotten himself into this mess.

They both found themselves pacing around the living room while Nyx performed her spell, chanting so loudly that the entire house seemed to hum with her voice. Suddenly, the ground began to tremble, causing the lights to flicker off, plunging them into darkness. Eerie whispers filled the air, making Fae's heart race. She had never witnessed a witch casting a spell before, and the anti-compulsion ring on her finger was bought off someone. She had doubted its effectiveness, but it had worked on Bella. Now, faced with Nyx's powerful magic, goosebumps erupted on her skin. After what felt like an eternity, the house finally stopped shaking, and the lights flickered back on, banishing the disembodied voices. Fae blinked and realized she was wrapped in Sebastian's arms on the couch.

"Ugh!" she groaned, frowning as she pushed him away and got to her feet, which made him chuckle. "It's not like it is something we haven't done before," he teased, but she rolled her eyes.

"Don't flatter yourself, and I'd like to forget about it. I didn't know you were younger."

"I know, I look great. All these from a sixteen-year-old," he said, smirking, but she quickly stepped on his foot, causing him to yelp in pain.

She turned and made her way to the room to see what had happened, with Sebastian following close behind. As they approached the door, it swung open, revealing Nyx standing there with Hazel beside her, a giddy smile on her face.

"Now, Hazel, what do we think of Bella?" Nyx asked, her tone commanding.

"Someone that cannot be trusted, but someone I have to pretend to love," Hazel replied with a sweet smile. "But I will help Fae and Sebastian achieve what they want."

A satisfied smile spread across Fae's face. "Good job, Nyx."

Nyx rolled her eyes at the praise, muttering, "Brat."

But Fae didn't care. "Now that's done, how do we get Bella's nudes?" she asked, her focus shifting back to Hazel.

Hazel raised her hand eagerly, like a child in class waiting to be called on. "Go ahead," Fae encouraged.

"She's going to a spa with Kai this weekend, and they're probably going to have sex somehow, so..." "Good job, Hazel," Fae said.

The weekend arrived in the blink of an eye, and as Bella prepared for her date with Kai, Hazel lay on her bed, a book open in front of her. She occasionally stole glances at Bella, who was carefully selecting her outfit. Hazel was biding her time, waiting to catch Bella's next move so she could keep Fae and Sebastian informed.

Suddenly, Bella's phone rang. Excitedly, she sifted through the pile of clothes on her bed, eager to tell Kai she was almost ready. But when she finally found the phone and saw her mother's name on the screen, her excitement quickly turned to frustration.

She answered the call with a sigh.

"I'm waiting outside your dorm. We need to talk." Her mother's voice was stern. "We'll have to leave school, so cancel whatever plans you have."

Bella groaned, clenching her jaw in frustration. She had long since given up trying to reason with her mother or argue with her. Instead, she simply nodded, resigned to her fate.

"I hate her so much," she muttered under her breath, tossing the phone aside. Hazel, sensing something was wrong, put her book away and sat up.

"What's wrong, dear?" Hazel asked, her voice laced with concern.

Bella sighed deeply. "My mother suddenly wants to take me for a drive, and I can already imagine how she plans to bore me to death. My date with Kai is in a few minutes, and..."

Before she could finish, the door swung open, and Kai walked in. Bella quickly composed herself, hiding her frustration behind a neutral expression as she explained the situation to him. Kai's face fell as he listened.

"Maybe some other time," he said with a heavy sigh before turning and leaving.

Bella, now seething with anger, grabbed her clothes and stormed out to meet her mother. As soon as the door closed behind her, Hazel quickly pulled out her phone and texted Sebastian and Fae, who immediately jumped on a conference call.

"I just needed her to do one thing-go to a fucking spa-but no! Why does my weekend have to be this ruined?" Fae roared, her voice dripping with frustration. "I don't care what it takes, but we must have a nude tape by Monday, with or without her! You're smart, Hazel. Fix this."
