5 Puppies For The Alpha -
Chapter 100
Matias was not comfortable with his family even though the truth was already known. He still felt that he had betrayed everyone and to always put himself as the victim was not fair. Rather, it wasn’t fair even to himself, and that hurt him. It hurt him a lot.
This day that was supposed to be happy for everyone was supposed to be a reminder to him that he didn’t belong in this family. Because he was just hurting.
-Brother… brother,” Axel shook his arm beside him, “It’s time to go for a run.
Matias nodded. His mother had just married the alpha of the Silver Pack, the one wolf who had filled him with the confidence to tell him the truth. He couldn’t deny that he was happy for him. He deserved it. His mother had suffered so much at the hands of his father, and that this wolf had appeared in his life was the best thing for him and his brothers.
However, he did not deserve it.
So when the run began and all the wolves followed the former alpha of the Silver Pack, he moved on for a few miles, but eventually stopped and let the others get away.
He needed to be alone. Not thinking about anything. In the middle of that forest. The only thing that kept him from disappearing completely was the thought that his mother would suffer greatly from the breaking of the bond. If it weren’t for that and that it would create more pain, he would have already vanished from the face of the earth. After all, he didn’t think his siblings would miss him much.
Because it was really hard for you to replace out that your brother knew where your mother was from the beginning and hadn’t done something about it.
He sat with his head down. The moon was beautiful that night, yet it barely filtered through the dense foliage of the forest. He liked it here. It was more welcoming than his old pack in every way.
If only he didn’t feel so lonely.
-What are you doing here, pup?
A voice snapped him out of his thoughts and he looked over his furry shoulder. A large black wolf appeared from the trees. His unusual silver orbs alone set him and the alpha apart from any ordinary wolf.
-Mitya,” he muttered, then looked away, “I’m not a puppy.
Mitya didn’t stop and sat down next to him, nudging him a little with his nose.
-You’re right. You haven’t been a puppy for a few years now, but it’s funny to see your reaction when I call you that,” he teased him.
Matias was about to retort, but he remembered that he had no right to do that. Who was he to make any demands?
-What is he doing here? The herd is running,” he asked the twin in a low voice.
-But you weren’t with them.
The wolf’s answer stunned him and he raised his head to look him straight in the eye.
-Until you finally looked at me,” Mitya nuzzled his nose with his, “You looked depressed.
-I’m… I’m fine,” Matthias recoiled at the Commander’s unusual display of affection, and got up to run away.
-Matias,” he heard Mitya shout behind him, but he didn’t stop.
But the younger boy had already run off. He wasn’t used to that kind of attention, that kind of affection, because he was aware that he felt something strange with the wolf. There was some kind of connection that made his chest throb and it was wrong. Very wrong and he didn’t want to feel that. Let alone that the twin was following him like this.
Why was it chasing him when he wanted to get away?
Matias panicked and hurried, knowing it was useless. Mitya’s paws were much longer and stronger than his. Mitya was twice his size by far. And he was the Commander of the pack. Unless he was the alpha he would have no match, not even from the beta.
Still, he didn’t stop, and kept running when…
-Watch out,” he heard from behind him, but it was too late. The void opened up in front of him. It was a steep ravine.
As if his desire to kill himself had been heard, Matias rushed down where there were many trees and branches, which were sure to scratch and tear his skin. To his surprise this was not the case. No sooner had he descended about seven metres than the back of his neck was bitten and a furry body wrapped around him, avoiding the impact against a trunk.
Matias heard the wolf that protected him with its body g***n in pain, but at least the fall didn’t go any lower. The smaller wolf raised his head with his ears flat and whimpered in concern. Mitya had hurt himself because of him. Again.
-Are you all right, puppy? -the twin asked after releasing the back of his neck. His front paws kept him clutched against his chest.
-You’re hurt,” Matthias felt his voice tremble.
-Nothing compared to what I’m used to,” Mitya began to move and bit the back of his neck again. With strategic movements he pulled him underneath him, between his legs as he turned.
The slope was extremely steep, though it was possible to climb, and it wasn’t that far down.
-I’m going to go up,” he said without letting go of the back of his neck, which he bit carefully so as not to hurt him, his fangs were lethal if he wanted to, “I’m going to push you and you’ll move along with my body, understand? One false step and we can both fall and the damage will be greater.
Matias nodded and let Dmitri guide him. So, little by little, and although it was not at all comfortable, as he was being pulled by his skin and his body was a little bent because of the one above him, they were soon at the top. When Dmitri released him he ran his tongue over the skin a little bruised by his teeth.
Matias stood on his belly against the ground dumbfounded by the Commander’s reaction to him and the gentle way he treated him. So different from how he normally was in training or when he was on duty.
-Let’s get back to the pack,” he said, bringing his head close to his ear and Matias shivered. His heart pounded without him being able to help it.
-Your back,” the younger one said quickly to replace another topic of conversation other than the thoughts that were currently running through his head.
-It’s fine,” Mitya turned away from him and showed it to him. Because of the thick black fur, you couldn’t see much, but Matias had smelled b***d. He was sure of it.
So he got up and before Mitya could protest he buried his snout in the fur and found it.
through the fur and found it. It wasn’t much, but there were tiny sores in the fur.
-Hey puppy, I’m fine, you don’t have to…..
But already Matias was licking over the wounds to clean them. Dmitri couldn’t deny that he felt a shudder run through his entire body when the other wolf’s tongue made contact with him. He said nothing so as not to make him uncomfortable. By the time Matias had finished he had had to think of more than one thing not to do what his instincts were really telling him to do. He looked over his shoulder and smiled at him with his fangs showing.
-Thank you, puppy.
-I’m not a puppy,” Matthias had his head down and was licking his muzzle to remove the traces of b***d.
Mitya walked over to him and rubbed his head against the younger one.
-You’d better be a puppy for the time being, or I won’t answer to me,” the teasing tone startled Matias, who didn’t understand his words.
But, since that day when the two of them had shared only a few strange moments, they had been closer than before. Until the day when what Dmitri least wanted, and most tried to avoid, related to his rutting, happened.
