A Fallen Heir’s Redemption By ( Lucian and Freya ) -
Chapter 105
Chapter 105 The Heavens Are Helping Me
Over at Maple Garden.
Upon reaching home, the first thing everyone did was yank Lucian into the living room.
“Lucian, you’d better have an explanation for what happened today. Who are you, really?”
Freya’s expression was stern.
Everything that happened today was far too shocking.
Marshall Kane had gotten on his knees to kneel to Lucian.
“I don’t know.”
Lucian put his palms up,
his expression dazed. “I really don’t know.”
“I don’t believe you.” Freya did not believe Lucian’s words at all. Everything that had happened was far too strange. She was able to get through every single hurdle in her life without losing much, and found it hard to believe that Lucian was a regular person.
“We don’t believe you either,” said Frank and Annie, staring straight at Lucian and speaking in a
stern tone.
They were slowly realizing that Lucian was no ordinary person, and were seeing him more and more differently.
Freya was desperate to know who Lucian really was. “Lucian, you kept saying before that you were the Infernal War G od. I’m asking you know, are you really the Infernal War Go d?”.
Freya herself did not really believe the words she had just said. After all, Lucian looked nothing like someone who was Lord Protector.
But she wanted to hear it from Lucian himself.
This time, she listened to him seriously for an answer instead of cutting him off.
Lucian saw the looks on their faces, and fell silent.
It seemed like he could not keep on hiding anymore.
He had thought of announcing his identity to the world while moving his father’s grave. It seemed like that would be too late.
“Whew,” Lucian took a deep breath, preparing to tell the truth about his identity.

Just then, Frank’s phone rang with a call from an anonymous number.
“Lucian, hang on. Let me take this call.”
Frank picked up the phone. “Hello, is this Mr. Frank Harrison? I’m Marshall Kane.”
The words made him stop short. Frank put the call on loudspeaker, catching the attention of the others.
“Officer Kane, Frank Harrison speaking. Is anything the matter?”
Frank paused briefly before responding.
“Ahem,” Marshall paused for a few seconds before chuckling. “Not really! I was just wondering if you’ve reached home yet?”
“We’re home, we’re home.”
“That’s good.” Marshall fell silent once again, as if there was something he was trying to say.
Frank sensed that something was off, and asked immediately, “Officer Kane, are you trying to say something?”
“Yes, there is something.”
Marshall said, “I’m truly sorry about what happened today and for scaring all of you. I just called to ask if you were satisfied with the way I handled everything?”
“Yes, we were very satisfied.” What else was Frank supposed to say?
TH
“That’s great,” Marshall laughed. “If you are satisfied, could you help me tell Mr. Lucian not to spread this out? After all, you know that the Infernal War Go d is in Sioux right now. If this gets to him, I, uh…”
Everyone else’s gazes landed on Lucian at once.
Their gazes were extremely strange.
It was as if some things clicked into place for them.
f t
Lucian kept his palms out, putting on an oblivious and unknowing expression.
It seemed like Lucian had been right. He really did not know anything.
“Don’t
worry, Officer Kan. I’ll tell him to keep this a secret.”
Frank responded at once.

“Oh, thank you so much, Mr. Frank.” Marshall then hung up the call.
Freya had even thought that Lucian was the Infernal War G od, until the call came and everything was clear. So Marshall got on his knees to beg and paid up a compensation not because of Lucian’s identity, but because Marshall was afraid that the news of his relationship with Prince. Harry might get to the Infernal War G od.
It was simply an act of self-protection, and had nothing to do with Lucian.
Freya felt a lot lighter at once. Gosh, how would she have faced Lucian if he turned out to really be the Infernal War G od?
Upon replaceing out the truth, Freya turned to Lucian with a smile. “Lucian, you scared the cr ap out of me! Thank goodness you aren’t the Infernal War G od. I wouldn’t know how to face
you if you turned out to be someone so powerful, ha ha! Thank goodness I was just overthinking.”
“Why would you not be able to look me in the eye if I turned out to be the Infernal War G od?” Lucian frowned, confused.
“Because I wouldn’t deserve you!”
Freya smiled earnestly. “I’m just a regular girl, I’m no match for someone so powerful! I don’t want you to be some Infernal War G od! I just love you, the regular Lucian Gray. Whatever, I’m snapping out of it. As if you would really be the Infernal War G od.”
Despite Freya’s joking tone, Lucian was able to sense that she was being sincere.
She was indeed afraid that her man would turn out to be someone as powerful as the Infernal War G od.
After everyone had gone to rest, Lucian sat in the living room smoking and sulking.
He was suddenly hesitating on whether or not he should reveal his identity as the Infernal War G od to Freya.
Over in the suburbs of Sioux, in a dark house.
A stony-faced Orion and two of his pupils stood at the door of the house along with the Harrison family.
“Uncle Orion, does the senior you mentioned live here?”
Dax glanced at Orion as he asked the question.
“Yep!” Orion nodded feebly. “From what I’ve heard, the Bishop family lived in this house when they were hired to assassinate people in Sioux. The Bishops are famous for breeding venomous bugs, it was their main source of income for many generations. If we get their help, we’ll be able
bir
to get my venomous bug back from Lucian.”
“Let’s go inside, then.” Dax said, shocked and joyous.
Everyone entered the house at once.
Just then, there were already guests in the house. It was a stony-faced Jordan.
“You had one job, Stanley! I gave you thirty million dollars, and you couldn’t even get rid of some old geezer? To hell with your family business of venomous bugs! I think you’re better off calling them mere ants, with how incompetent they are,” Jordan fumed.
Stanley was clad in all black, his expression dark as his lean, skinny figure faced Jordan. “Say another word and I’ll poison you.”
Jordan stopped speaking at once.
“I was surprised too. I didn’t expect for him to be rescued by some guy named Lucian Gray. Does he know anything about healing?”
Stanley’s expression was ashen as he spoke.
“Mr. Freegood, Mr. Freegood, how am I supposed to know?”
Orion had not expected the coincidence, and piped up immediately. “Lucian Gray has no healing skills. This guy named Austin Ferguson’s helping him, he’s Ryan Ferguson’s son. Austin took all of my venomous bugs from me, I came today to ask you for help on this.”
“Ryan Ferguson’s son?”
Stanley’s expression flashed with surprise and joy. “Ryan Ferguson, the guy who came up with five different medicine recipes to poison and heal each?”
“Yes, him. Austin has two of the poison recipes too.”
Orion nodded solemnly.
“The heavens are helping me out here!”
Stanley perked up at once with a laugh. “An enemy clan of mine managed to get a poison recipe while taking part in hunting down Ryan Ferguson back in the day, and fed it to all his poisonous bugs. They lorded over us Freegoods for years after that. I’ll be able to avenge my family if I get my hands on two poison recipes, ha ha! The heavens are really on my side!”
“Well, could you help me poison Yonny, then?”
Jordan was not interested in being a master of venomous bugs. All he wanted was Yonny dead, so

he could inherit the family fortune.
“Don’t worry, of course!”
Stanley nodded solemnly, turning to Orion. “Don’t worry, Orion. You gave me such important news, I’ll be sure to get you your venomous bugs bag. I’ll take care of Austin Ferguson as well, and get my hands on the two poison recipes. Ha ha ha!”
