Chapter 98
Chapter 98 Outsmarted
“Master!”
The three disciples‘ smiles disappeared. They shouted and rushed toward Orion.
“Don’t move.” Orion stopped them. He held his chest with his right hand and said to Austin with a terrified expression, “Brat, what did you do? How did you counter my curse?”
The shock was obvious on the three disciples‘ faces when they heard it. They were terrified and could not believe what just happened. They kept teasing Austin and ignored his warning. They did not expect him to counter Orion’s curse and wondered how he did it.
As witch doctors, they knew how powerful Orion was. However, Austin had gained the upper hand over Orion now.
The Harrisons also looked at Orion with shock. They thought Austin would be in Orion’s control, but it seemed like the situation had changed. Orion even coughed blood just now.
“Mr. Lee, what happened?” Dax and Eleanor went up to Orion and asked out of concern.
“What do you think happened?” Austin knocked on his jade pendant again. Orion immediately coughed out more blood.
“Please stop it…” Orion panicked and quickly said to Austin, “Austin, spare me. Don’t counter my curse anymore.”
The curse was connected to his life. If Austin countered his curse completely, Orion would be dead.
“Lucian, how should we punish him? I’ll let you decide.” Austin asked Lucian politely.
Everyone was staring at Lucian, especially Orion. He bowed to Lucian and said, “Mr. Gray, it’s all my fault for disrespecting and offending you. Please spare my life. I swear not to trouble you anymore.”
Lucian scoffed and said, “Were you being nice when you thought you had Austin’s life in your grasp?”
“That’s…” Orion had nothing to say.
After that, Lucian whispered in Austin’s cars. Everyone looked at them anxiously.
“No problem, Lucian.” Lucian nodded after hearing what Lucian told him.
He swung the jade pendant in the air. Orion fell to the ground and started screaming in pain. Everyone looked at him with shock as a black centipede crawled out of Orion’s mouth. Then,

another small and cute caterpillar crawled out of the centipede’s mouth. It was the cursing tool Austin raised.
“No!” Orion figured out what Lucian was planning and shouted. Before he could snatch back his own cursing tool, Lucian grabbed the centipede in his hands quickly. He pinched the centipede lightly. The centipede shrieked as Orion coughed out blood again.
“This is so fun.” Lucian was excited and pinched the centipede again. Orion kept coughing out blood.
“Stop! Please stop pinching it!” Orion was in so much pain. He knelt on the ground and begged, “Mr. Gray, please stop this. Just spare me.”
The three disciples did not hesitate a moment and knelt in front of Lucian as well. They hoped they could retrieve their master’s cursing tool. All of them knew if the centipede was in Lucian’s hand, it would mean Orion’s life was also in Lucian’s hand.
Dax and Eleanor were dumbfounded. When they saw Orion and the rest were kneeling on the ground speechless.
They thought they could use Orion’s power to snatch the project’s profit. Unexpectedly, Orion could only boast for two minutes before he was defeated.
Freya, Frank, and Annie were surprised as their situation had turned around. Orion and his three disciples were defeated, and the Harrisons were shocked. They were elated to see that. The three of them stood there to see what Lucian would do next.
“Orion, I told you so. You could not afford to offend me. Now, you must suffer.”
Austin picked up an apple and started eating it.
Orion could not figure out why Austin’s caterpillar could defeat his centipede. It was supposed to be impossible. The curse needed years to grow, and Orion’s centipede was raised for over 30 years. It was impossible for it to lose to a mere caterpillar.
“Mr. Austin, you said my centipede was dirty. Can you return it to me?” Orion begged.
Austin sneered and said, “Your centipede is with Lucian. You can ask him to return it.”
Then, Orion looked at Lucian and said, “Can you return it to me? I will grant any request of yours. I will do anything for you as long as you return my centipede to me.”
“You were the one who treated Calvin and Felix, right?” Lucian looked at the centipede in his hand and asked with a smile, “I’m interested to know how you treated them.”
Lucian broke their legs previously, but Orion used witchcraft to fix their legs. Lucian could not even imagine something like that happening.

Vandergrift had been around for 5,000 years, but its witchcraft alone was enough to terrify
outsiders.
“I treated them with witchcraft. Your centipede could control the spell inside them.”
Orion panicked and started to talk, “You are the son–in–law of the Harrison family. If you kill the centipede, you will also be breaking their legs. So, you can’t kill the centipede.”
“Oh…” Lucian did not say anything.
Everyone in the Harrison family was anxious, especially Calvin and Felix. They scolded Orion in their hearts. What he said just put them in direct danger.
“Orion, he was the one who broke my grandsons‘ legs.” Eleanor reminded Orion because she did not tell him who broke their legs before this.
Orion and his three disciples were stunned when they heard that.
“Orion, thank you for your reminder.” Lucian said with a smile, “I might return the centipede to you if you hadn’t said that. Do you know? These people have always troubled Freya, Frank, and Annie. Now that I have this centipede, I’m sure they dare not do anything, so I will be keeping this centipede. Don’t worry. I will take good care of it and not let you die a sudden death.”
