A Ranger From Adamnar

Alana is brought to Adamnar stronghold--one of oldest and most noted strongholds on Ranwar--to train as a Ranger. She is eager to follow in her Uncle Iliard's footsteps and someday become a Novadi Warrior. However, the more she trains, the clearer it becomes to her and those around her, that her destiny may lie along another path. The enemy that had only been on the edges of her consciousness makes himself known to her. He threatens her and all she holds dear with pain and death. But Alana is stronger than even she realizes and she refuses to cower in the face of a clearly stronger foe. Can she follow her dream and be her uncle's heir or will her path take to places unknown? Alana faces the greatest challenge of her lifetime. Will it build her or break her?
