Fighting noises were heard transmitted from the private room. The girls outside were terrified asthey heard it while praying for Sage's safety

Does she know who she’s up against?

Wait a minute. This didn't sound right. “Hey! Hitting your own brother for a guy like that? Are youout of your mind?”

The girls outside were all staring at each other in disbelief, Who was the one yelling? Kane?! Doesthat woman dare to lay her fingers on Kane?

Luther was taking videos of them from the door. His expression was pained as he saw punches afterpunches Sage threw on Kane. He then sent the videos to the group chat.

The others sent in an emoji of candles, with a message, (Hold on, Kane!)

Luther lifted Sage away from Kane moments later as he warned, “Can it now. He's going to die ifyou continue punching him.”

A whole 5 minutes later, the room was quiet once again. Sage sat on the couch, and Kane had iceon the comers of his mouth. He looked like a hot mess, and he glanced side-eyes over at Sage.Luther stood in the middle of the both of them trying to mediate the situation, “Alright, it's allresolved, yeah? You got it all out?”

Sage sighed angrily. She looked cute in Luther's and Kane's eyes. They both took one look at eachother and thought to themselves, their little girl is back at her usual self.

“Was anyone else involved in this devious plan?” Sage suddenly tumed to Luther as she asked.Luther immediately waved his hands and said, “No, not at all! Although all of us wanted to teachJane a lesson, this moron went for i t before we did”

Kane kicked Luther in the leg, “You're the moron.”

Sage pressed further, “So you knew, and you didn't inform me earlier? And you let him be?”Luther smiled wryly and said, “I cant betray my brother now, can I?”

Sage let out a cold tone and said, “So you chose to hide it from your sister instead?”

Luther was dumbfounded. Now he really looked like a moron himself.

“You guys were aiding to a crime!” Sage angrily added and tumed to Kane and said, “You wereacting completely childish! And foolish! Jace Yuriel is a managing director of the Yuriel Group. Hewas assaulted in Salem City. If the cops were to investigate, guess who's the first suspect?” ..

Kane lifted his brows unfazed and said, “I'm not afraid.”

“I know you are fearless, brother. But please stop creating more troubles.” Sage said with a toned-down voice. “I'm not angry that you beat him up. He deserved a beating after what he had done tome. I'm mad because you hid it from me.”

Kane raised his eyebrows and asked, “I don't get it. What's the difference if I told you first?”

Sage bit her lip. The difference was that she was completely unprepared for the nerves that camewith the news of Jace getting hurt. She wanted to kill the person who have done it. But alas, theperson who ordered the beating was her own second brother. She felt extremely uncomfortablewith how she was stuck in between her loved ones.
