Chapter 167,

That was a meal to remember.

They talked about the turf club project and drafted the outline. They even made plans to visit theturf club once Jace was free to go.

Sage and Jace were prepared to leave when they finished up all the food. Yoel looked at the dirtydishes in the sink and exclaimed, “You guys are leaving all these for me?”

That was crude

Sage looked back at Yoel and said, “Do you know how much I charge per session?”-Yoel was takenaback and shook his head, “No?”

“Ten times more than Myles Damian, alright?” answered Sage.

“That's pricey... But it's something you totally deserve!” Yoel stuck up his thumb “And did I chargeyou for the meal just now? Absolutely not! Yoel quickly answered-his question

“That's right,” replied Sage. “Is it that hard to wash the dishes in return?” she added.

Yoel was dumbfounded. It sounded about right. He looked up and pointed at Jace, “Then whywasn't he asked to wash the dishes?”

Jace raised his brows and said, “I've not fully recovered. Are you seriously asking a wounded personto do the dishes for you?”

Yoel was struck again as he looked at Hunter and Zayne with pleading eyes.

*We'll do it!” said the both of them.

Sage stopped them and asked=Yoel, “Where were you when they were helping with the bags at thebazaar?”

"You seemed to be complaining a lot about my simple request for you to do the dishes. Just say it ifyou're not interested in eating my food, I'll get room service to clear them out immediately.” Sagehas lost her patience.

Yoel said in an instant, “Alright alright, I'll do them. In fact, I'll even slaughter the chicken for you ifyou'll cook for us again.”

What did he mean by slaughtering chickens?

“He's afraid of chickens,” Jace explained to Sage:

“You're afraid of chickens?” Everyone else looked at Yoel in disbelief, “You're in the special forcesand yet you're afraid of chickens?

Yoel felt hurt for being teased, and he quickly tried to explain himself, “So what if I'm afraid ofchickens? Everyone has their own fears to deal with, it's not a crime to be scared!”

Jace added salt to his wound and said, “He's also afraid of ducks and birds. Basically, he’s afraid ofanything with a beak!”

"You're being very beaky right now,” Yoel yelled at him

"I see,” Sage said as she smirked. Yoel thought to himself as they walked out, “Why does Sage looklike she’s about to do something sneaky?’ Right when the escalator door was about to close, a handpushed it open.
