He had returned but he was with that woman instead?!

“Miss Suki, is everything okay?”

One of the businessmen noticed Suki stop in her tracks. So, he came up to her and checked if shewas alright. Suki forced a smile and assured him that she was fine before catching up with the restof the group. This time, however, she avoided looking at Seth.

Among the group of men was a familiar face — Lionel, the CEO of Starship Entertainment and Sukiwas one of his artists.

Since Lionel was on bad terms with Yuriel Group and Sage, he could only bring his businesssomewhere else. Hence, he had even brought along his most prized artist to the business gathering.With a wide grin plastered on his face, Lionel was buttering up some of the clients. Unfortunately,the moment he noticed Jace and Sage, his whole demeanor crumbled

Jace, on the other hand, was not paying attention to anyone else aside from Sage.

Upon seeing that Sage was about to get onto Seth's back, Jace could not hold himself back anylonger and charged toward them, grabbed Sage, and lifted her onto his shoulder.

“Dude, what do you think you're doing? Put her down right now!” shouted Kane.

Jace ignored him and continued walking out with Sage on his shoulder. Kane was about to followhim when Luther stopped him.”. Leave him be. Can't you see that they're simply throwing a fit? Andwho knows, he might be able to make Sage feel better.”

"So we should just let him take Sage away? What if he takes advantage of her? Or even bully her?”Kane was still worried no matter what Luther said. He wanted to rush up to them.

Luther could only shake his head helplessly. Inwardly, he thought that Jace and Sage were bothdivorcees and if Jace really wanted to take advantage of Sage, he would have done so back then.Besides, both of them were equally good-looking so it was not necessarily that Sage would be theone being taken advantage of.

— Seth, on the other hand, stood up and straightened his back as he watched Suki walk past himwithout even sneaking a peek at

him. It was as if he was a complete stranger to her.

Seth finally broke off his gaze when Suki disappeared into a room.

Swaying his hand in front of Seth, Luther asked, “Seth, what are you staring at? That was Suki West,right? The best female actress. Do you know her?”

“Yeah, we're really close,” replied Seth.

Coming back to his senses, he asked, “Do you know the person who was standing next to MisterLionel?”

“Not really.” Luther noticed how Seth was concerned and understood the situation right away. “Letme get someone to look into it.”

Seth nodded. Still worried, he tumed to look behind once more before leaving.

At the entrance of Neon Nights was Kane who stomped his feet in frustration.

"What's wrong? You lost them?”

Rage seared through Kane as he berated the other, “That dude is sly! He called a million drivers andall these cars blocked the road. I don't even know which car he got into.”

In the meantime, the car with Jace and Sage was already long gone.

Sage felt her stomach churning the moment Jace lifted her onto his shoulder. When the carsuddenly came to a jolted stop, Sage could not hold back and throw up all over Jace. Jade wasspeechless from it all.
