Gwyneth's heart ached as her pearl necklace was now scattered across the ground. She had beggedfor such an item from Zane for almost a month

She could not believe it was ruined just like that by Sage. She clenched her teeth in protest, but shecould not let the crowd see her in distress

She smiled forcibly and said, “I heard the Norah family has house rules for the young ones torespect the seniors. Is this how you greet your aunt?”

“You're not too much older than I am. How dare you call yourself a senior?” Sage said it slowly withno visible intonations, and added, “Out of respect for my uncle, I called you aunty. You really thinkyou're significant to me?”

“Even my uncle meant nothing to me. You're clearly mistaken here. I'm the senior in the NorahFamily.”

Gwyneth stood frozen. She then looked at Leah and smirked, “Leah, come greet your Mommy."Leah snapped and said, “You're not my mother!”

That's disrespectful of you. I'm married to your father, therefore I became your mother.” Gwynethtried to be superior to Leah, “You needed to learn your manners. Greeting and respecting yourparents whenever you see them! You'll humiliate us and people will think you are an orphan if youkeep up with that attitude of yours,” said Gwyneth.

Leah was fumed, and she said trembly, “I'm motherless, because of you! She died because of you!"Hunter rushed back into the room. His heart ached for Leah, and he walked next to her as support.“Can she blame me for not being able to keep her own man?”

Sage looked at Gwyneth the same way she did Sienna. These homewreckers all act the same,blaming the victim instead of. reflecting on their mistakes.

As Leah was about to say something, Sage stopped her. “Leah, don't waste your energy on theseshameless people. They're not worthy.”

Gwyneth's face darkened. She heard how Zane was forced out of the company ever since Sage wasback, and how he lost all his money gambling in Yusemite. And now, his position as Vice Presidentwas revoked...

Useless!

She had to do something for him.

She did not believe that Sage Norah was a tough nut to break. Gwyneth calmly sat on the chair andformulated a plan.
