Sage was about to get up and leave along with Dean when Suki stopped her. “There's no need, Ihave nothing to hide from you guys,” Suki said.

Suki was someone who had been through countless things. So she easily composed herself within ablink of an eye before continuing on. Suki then answered Sean, “Yes.”

Without a change of expressions, Sean pressed on, “Did he succeed?” “No, I called his wife. Shearrived in time and beat me up before leaving the scene.” Suki answered, her face as cold and deadas still water.

Sage bit down her lips and cracked her knuckles, making a crisp crackling sound. Her eyes werefilled with cold rage. “That f*cking *sshole!"

Sean nodded lightly as he continued on, “Has Lionel attempted to pimp you out to other menbefore?”

As a last resort,he went to Mister White from the Sea Trading Group-" Suki said ever so calmly, as if she wasnarrating someone else's story.

Dean's eyes darkened from what she was saying. The veins on his forehead popped as he took overthe story, “I was there that night, Mister White had his eyes on me but Miss West took the bullet forme. She had so many drinks with that b*stard, what happened after that isn't something that I knowof."

Suki took a long drag of her cigarette, her voice was cold and dead as the Antarctic.

“After that... that b*stard decided that it was better to have gained something than to have nothing,he requested for me from Lionel. Just like that, Lionel didn’t even hesitate to pimp me out.”

Suki chuckled defeatedly and continued, “I was at the point of no return and had already givenmyself up completely. I thought to myself... I had nothing else to lose, so why not just kill him? Whoknew that Seth would show up to drag me away without saying anything.”

Sean's face remained calm upon hearing those, he asked in an emotionless tone, “Which meantLionel had only attempted to do those things, and had never once succeeded. Since you havenothing on him, there's nothing you could do other than staying. You should just stay with StarshipEntertainment then, there's no point in trying to terminate the contract.”

“Thank you for the meal.” Sean announced casually, ending the meeting before he stood up toleave.

Sage frowned silently. Sage had heard enough about Sean's temperament from her brother abouthow unstable he could be at times, but the fact that he would just drop a case like that was unlikehim. Suki looked anxiously at Sean as he was leaving, in a panicked state she uttered, “What if I tellyou I have proof of him hurting me?” Sean stopped his gait and he turned his head back to look atSuki. That glare was as sharp as a blade, cutting through Suki's heart, rendering her feeling exposedand guilty. If Sean had not triggered her that way, she would have never put herself at such a risk.Why not go all out? She had nothing else to lose anyway. Suki set her heart down and announced,“I have video proof on both Lionel and Mister White.”
