Sage slept from afternoon until the next morning. She woke up feeling refreshed and well-rested. Itwas the weekend, Leah had planned to stay home and do nothing, but Sage dragged her up to goshopping. Leah thought Sage was shopping for herself, but Sage was actually shopping for Leah.“It's alright, Sage. I have plenty of clothes.” “Those are all clothes with cartoon prints on it, what withHi Kitty and Peggy Pig. Pay for the bills once she’sdone.” Hunter's lips twitched as he muttered, “Please, don't do this to me, any of these clothescould easily cost me my one month's salary.”

A broke office worker could not afford to pay such luxurious items.

Sage said coldly, “You can't court a woman without money, go court a mosquito or somethingthen.”

Hunter was speechless

Why court a mosquito? It's true that he won't have to spend money, but he will be wasting blood.Leah came out of the changing room after each outfit. Sage and Hunter just sat by the couch,nodding and shaking their heads at times.

Leah felt happy by their approval and sad by their disapproval at first, but eventually turned into anemotionless model.

Sage, on the other hand, wanted to grow hers out.

Sage's hair always grows really quickly, thus she always had long, brown-ish hair.

Before she turned eighteen, her mother was really strict and forbade her from dyeing her hair. So,once she turned eighteen, she started going all out. She even tried plenty of the bold colors. Sagethought that she was still pretty young and wanted to keep trying new things before she startedhaving the risk of balding. “This one.” Sage decided on the spot that she wanted a rose red, andrequested for an extension.
