Chapter 360

Leah hummed yes in anticipation. She knew Sage was going to cook as soon as she heard the wordfeast”

Hunter earned himself a spot for the feast as well.

Sage was likely in a decent mood as she told Hunter, “If you're able to make the old man showerand change into a new set of clean clothing, you won't have to say goodbye to your seasonalbonus.”

“Roger!” Hunter thought to himself, how hard could it be? It was not the first time he had to showeran old man. He had some tricks up his sleeves when it came to old people.

Rosa Garden had everything you could think of. There was a jacuzzi and even a sauna room.Unsure of what sorcery Hunter cast on Wayne, not only did he take a shower, he also went into thejacuzzi and sauna. When Wayne came out of the sauna room, he was spotting a new set of shirt andgray trousers, looking fresh as ever.

Wayne also had his pipe in his hand, of course.

“Grandpa.”

Leah was setting the table up when Wayne walked toward her. She uttered in the midst of settingup, “There, you look much better like that.”

Wayne chuckled lightly and pointed at Hunter. “That fella right there, I've never met such aninsistent fella before. He made me take the longest shower I've ever had in my life, and my skin is allwrinkly.”

Hunter snickered, he had to work hard to gain his bonus back in order to save up for his futurewedding

Sage came out of the kitchen with two dishes in hand, the corner of her lips lifted upon seeingWayne.

"Feeling better after a shower?” teased Sage.

Wayne hummed provokingly as he muttered under his breath, “I felt good before showering

too.”

Wayne did not get to eat anything at the wedding, and he was famished after a long shower. Hiseyes were popping out as the dishes slowly filled up the table.

“I haven't had my dearest granddaughter’s cooking in a long time. Quickly now, where are theutensils?”

It was a pleasant meal. The three kids even enjoyed some whiskey with the old man. The warmth ofthe amber liquid burned their throats, painting their faces red and bringing warmth to their hearts.Leah's tolerance was pretty bad, and she was knocked out after half a glass of whiskey. After seekingSage's approval, Hunter carried her up the stairs to her room

Once they were in the room, Hunter placed Leah down on her bed. Hunter was about to take hershoes off when he was greeted with a kick on the face.

“Whoa, there!”

awled out

Leah, the red “pony’, was sprawled out on the bed. Her cheeks’ were flushed in deep crimson. Onewould think it was an endearing view. Hunter was completely charmed by her and could not helpbut pinch herred, fluffy cheeks. 17 Hunter did not expect Leah would havé so much strength in herdrunken state. She probably felt pain from the pinch and frowned as she shoved Hunter away.Hunter lost his balance, and his whole body toppled on top of Leah's. His lips met hers.

Who took advantage of who now?!

It was only Sage and Wayne in the dining room now.

Sage's tolerance was not exactly decent either, and her face was completely flushed. The tinge ofred on her fair skin resembled that of a rose quartz.

Staring at her adorable granddaughter in her inebriated state, Wayne seemed to have an idea andretrieved a rose quartz from his smoking pipe bag, along with a carving tool. He started carvingskillfully on the rock under the dining room lights. A portrait of a woman was carved onto the rosequartz in just a short amount of time. Le

The old man placed the rose quartz in Sage's palms and said, “A gift for my granddaughter from herold man."
