the records.

Sage's handwriting was different from a doctor's typical flamboyant handwriting. She wrote neatly,making her handwriting easy to read. Jace watched her write, and his heart thumped uncontrollably.“The surgery will begin at ten o'clock. You may get ready.” Sage put the medical records away. Sheturned to the door and nodded at Lulu, who looked very nervous. At last, she walked out of theward with Nigel and the rest.

As soon as they went out, Nigel asked casually and calmly, “Was that man in black your ex husband,Jace?"

"Yeah," Sage answered with an expressionless face. A few years ago, Nigel had seen pictures of Jace.He knew Sage had been secretly in love with Jace for many years and did her best to nurse him backto health. Naturally, he recognized Jace too.

“Well, nice to meet him in person.” Nigel pretended to sigh emotionally and immediately changedhis tune, “It seems like his IQ is pretty low.”
